Petty crimes are commited everywhere nowadays and include various traffic violations, drunkenness in public, disturbing the peace and public nuisances. England has one of the worst crime rates among developed nations for burglaries and robberies 4) When people are unemployed they don't have a permanent income so their life may be quite problematic. As every human has needs so have the unemployed and when they don't have the required resources they might have to satisfy their needs by criminal ways, but it is also possible to live on the unemployed benfits given by the country. These benefits also have a negative impact on british society as many people might get lazy and find a way how to live only on the benefit for too many years.

The inductor supplies the motor with flux. The leading companies in the world market of electrical drive engineering are: Mitsubishi. The energy balance is described by energy conservation law. The armature supplies the motor with current. The cheapest and the most reliable is induction motor. The torque production is the result of interaction of current - flux. The mechanical torque as compared to the electromechanical torque is ?? The source of the magnetic flux of the motor is DC or permanent magnet. The most suitable for the speed control is synchronous servo motor. Efficiency of the electrical drive is the power ratio of load to supply. Electromagnetic efficiency is measured in tesla. One of the first eletrical motors has been built by Jacobi. The best electrical drive has efficiency very high. Who studied electromagnetic field? Lomonosov/Gilbert/Coulomb/Oersted?? What kinds of disturbances affect the electrical drive behavior?
Observe the spring effect (strong or weak?). Stop the motor. 4. Solutions of the problems 1.1 What dictates the maximal voltage of the drive? Why is it limited? Maximal voltage voltage is determined by the drive manufacturer and is usually dictated by the motors ability to dissipate excess thermal energy that comes from the internal resistance of windings. Applying excessive voltage can cause the motor to run inefficently, components to wear out prematurely or cause permanent damage to the motor from excess heat disspation. 1.2 What parameter sets a mode of the drive operation? What modes exist? From the laboratory manual, I found 3 parameters that determine motor operation modes: Parameter P036 sets Start Source. Possible values: 0 Keypad 1 Remote panel Parameter P037 sets the stop (braking) mode. Possible values: 0 Ramp 1 Coast 2 DC Brake Parameter A125 sets the Torque Performance mode. Possible values: 0 V/Hz, 1 Sensorless vector 1

Microcontroller homework for week 12 1. Three different stepper motors (illustrations on page 162-163): · permanent-magnet, · variablereluctance, · hybrid. The VR stepper has a soft iron rotor with teethand a wound stator. As current is applied to two opposing stator coils, the rotor is pulled into alignment with these twocoils. As the next pair of coils is energized, the rotor advances to the next position. The permanent magnet (PM) stepper has a rotor with alternating north and south. As the coils are energized, the rotor is pulled around. This figure shows a single coil to illustrate the concept, but a realstepper would have stator windings surrounding the rotor. The PM stepper has more torque than an equivalent VR stepper. The hybrid stepper essentially adds teeth to a permanent magnet motor, resulting in better coupling of the magnetic field into the rotor and moreprecise movement. In a hybrid stepper,

1497. He took back word that the sea was full of fish which could be taken not only with a net but in baskets let down into the water. The early 1500s saw the start of a rush by other seafaring countries to fish in the coastal waters of Canada. Finally the contest of claims came down to two: England and France. French claims date from explorations by Jacques Cartier (1534) and Samuel de Champlain (1603). Neither Cabot's nor Cartier's explorations left any permanent settlers behind, but after Champlain's trip , in 1604 the French founded the first permanent settlement in what is now Canada. The first city founded by the french was Quebec. New France was generally the name given to the french colonies of Canada and Acadia. British settlements appeared along the Atlantic coast. As the colonies grew, a struggle for control over North America started between England and France. For

Not considering Lake Peipsi on the Russian border, it surpasses all other Estonian lakes together by the surface area. The few islands are mostly located in the southern part of the lake. Tondisaar and Pähksaar are permanent islands while Ainsaar turns into a peninsula during low water, and Heinassaar is flooded in high water periods. The shores of Võrtsjarv are mostly low: swampy in the southern part, and sandy in the northern part; the eastern shore is higher. Despite its large surface area, the lake is shallow. The deepest place lies between the eastern shore and the island of Tondisaar along the submerged elongation of the riverbed of the Väike Emajõgi River.

Pikaajaliste katselappide abil uuritakse taimekasvu dünaamikat, järgnevust ja erinevate tegurite mõju pika aja jooksul. Pikaajaliste katselappide pidamine nõuab küllaltki suurt pingutust. Visions of a sustainable world Creating a shared vision of a sustainable and desirable future is the most critical task facing humanity today. This vision must be of a world that we all want, a world that provides permanent prosperity within the Earth’s biophysical constraints in a fair. At the centre of the idea of sustainability is an ethical imperative to pass on a undiminished future to our children. To bring our world toward sustainability — or any other goal — we need to take different kinds of steps, which require different kinds of knowledge, talent, skill, and work. Future will be sustainable when citizens are concerned enough about the environment that they want to make a difference

In her poem "Fame is a Fickle Food", Emily Dickinson quite clearly compares fame to something very changing and uncertain. She compares it to food, which at first seems tempting, but is actually venomous and deadly. From the very beginning of the poem, we get the idea that Dickinson has her mind set against fame and those, who run after it. With using words such as 'fickle' and 'shifting' she very successfully demonstrates that fame is not permanent and should thus be handled with care. Dickinson also says that true fame is something one can achieve only once ("Whose table once a Guest, but not / The second time is set"). She goes on to explain that after fame has faded, its not too pleasant insides become visible and even the crows inspect the leftovers, but decide to turn to the farmer's corn. The crows could also represent the many followers famous people get (fans etc), who turn away as soon as they see the fame becoming less bright

where they feel needed. The homeless have trouble belonging to a community. Many people do not want the homeless to be apart of the same social circle. People are embarrassed of the homeless because of the many stereotypes that they have been given. It is time we stop ignoring the homeless and treating them as if they do not exist. Government must play a better role in helping these individuals that do not have a home. Social workers must find different means for helping the homeless. Permanent residence facilities should be considered instead of temporary shelters. Job programs for the homeless must concentrate on getting these people out of the streets and into the workplace so they can make something of themselves and not rely on the government just to give them what they need. Society must stop fearing these people and realize that they are humans just like all of us. No one deserves to be homeless.

where there were animals to hunt. In winter camps they lived in snow shelters called igloos. In summer camps they lived in tents made of animal skins and bones. But that changed. As World War II ended and the Cold War began, the Arctic became a place where countries that didn't get along were close to each other. The Arctic had always been seen as inaccessible, but the invention of airplanes made it easier for non-Arctic dwellers to get there. Permanent settlements were created in the Arctic around new airbases and radar stations built to watch out for rival nations. Schools and health care centers were built in these permanent settlements. In many places, Inuit children were required to attend schools that emphasized non- native traditions. With better health care, the Inuit population grew larger, too large to sustain itself solely by hunting. Many Inuit from smaller camps moved into permanent settlements

successful marketing: Step 1: Their worldview and frames got there before we did. A consumer´s worldview affects the way he noticed things and understands them. If a story is framed in terms of that worldview, he´s more likely to believe it. Step 2: People only noticed the new and then make a guess. Consumers noticed something only when it changes. Step 3: First impressions start the story. A first impression causes the consumer to make a very quick, permanent judgment about what he was just exposed to. Step 4: Great marketers tell stories we believe. The marketer tells a story about what the consumer noticed. The story changes the way the consumer experiences the product or service and he tells himself a lie. Consumer rationalize anything that doesn´t match that prediction. Step 5: Marketers with authenticity thrive. The authenticity of the story determines whether it
