Marriage and Family People usually marry in their early to mid-20s. Most weddings are performed in a church, but a minority are also performed in a registry office. After marriage, many people in rural areas stay close to their family's home and visit frequently. Many couples, particularly in the cities, live together before or instead of marriage. Typically, the bonds between siblings in an Irish family are especially strong. In rural areas, extended families often live near one another, and family members who have moved to Dublin or overseas in search of work often return for Christmas and other family celebrations or funerals. Traditionally, women have not worked outside the home except to help on the family farm, but in Dublin and other cities the majority of women

probability of occurrence, countermeasures must be prepared in advance based on an appropriate response and adaptation strategies. After an overview of possible infrastructural instabilities caused by global warming, methodologies are proposed placing emphasis on the increasing probability of infrastructural instability triggered by natural hazards resulting from groundwater-level (GWL) variations. These effects are expected to be particularly serious in coastal regions because of the influence of the rising sea level resulting from global warming. The influence of sea-level rises (SLR) will become apparent along with land subsidence because groundwater abstraction will become severe in coastal regions. Additionally, the probability of earthquake liquefaction increases if GWL rises in accompaniment with SLR. Using case histories, we examined the possible occurrence of these natural hazards as a result of global warming

Ireland

Ireland is the third-largest island in Europe and the twentieth-largest island in the world. It lies to the north-west of continental Europe and is surrounded by hundreds of islands and islets. To the east of Ireland is the island of Great Britain. The Republic of Ireland covers five- sixths of the island. It is a parliamentary democracy and a republic. It is bordered to the northeast by Northern Ireland, which is a part of the United Kingdom, and is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean: particularly, the Irish Sea to the east, St George's Channel to the southeast, and the Celtic Sea to the south. The population of Ireland is estimated to be 6.2 million. Thick woodlands covered the island until the 1600s. Today, it is the most deforested area in Europe. Twenty-six mammal species are native to Ireland, with some, such as the red fox, hedgehog and badger, being very common. Others, like the Irish hare, red deer and pine marten are less so.

After finishing highschool I plan to go to Estonian Aviation Academy, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting. My first language is, of course, Estonian, but I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school at 3 grade and by watching movies I have improved my vocabulary a lot. I speak an intermediate level of Russian. I began learning it in fifth grade and all in all, I have learnt Russian for 6 years. I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. Their “if it feels good, do it” attitudes included little forethought nor concern for the consequences of their actions. Hippies were dissatisfied with what their parents had built for them. Hippies rejected middle class values, opposed nuclear weapons and the Vietnam War. They embraced aspects of eastern philosophy and desired to find new meaning in life. Hippies were often vegetarian and believed in eco friendly environmental practices. They championed free love and sexual liberation, particularly for women. They also promoted the use of psychedelic drugs which they believed expanded their consciousness. Hippies participated in alternative arts and street theater and listened to folk music and psychedelic rock as part of their anti-establishment lifestyle. Some hippies lived in communes or aggregated communities of other hippies. Gas forges vary in size and construction, from large forges using a big burner with a blower or several atmospheric burners The primary advantage of a gas forge is ease of use, particularly for a novice. A gas forge is simple to operate compared to coal forges, and the fire produced is clean and consistent Coal/charcoal forge A forge typically uses bituminous coal or charcoal as the fuel to heat metal. restaurant and suggest any changes. It is based on my experiences as a customer. Food and prices Firstly, I am satisfied with prices, they are reasonable. But there is not a wide variety of dishes. You should add more dishes to your menu. Service Another thing to mention is that the staff was friendly and helpful. I think that a good staff means a lot for customers. But on the other hand, the service is a little too slow, particularly when the restaurant gets busy. More people should be hired. Atmosphere Finally, the restaurant looks really old and it does not look very clean anymore. I think that painting it again will give a really good result. Furthermore, I came by car, but there was nowhere to park it. You should clean up the old storage yard next to the restaurant and convert it into a car park. Conclusion In conclusion, although there were some drawbacks, the Marco’s fast food restaurant is a nice place

I do not agree with large lies, which can harm someone. I agree that honesty is good, but often it remains unpaid. For example, few weeks ago I found phone on the stairs at school. I decided to bring it to teacher. The result was that I was not thanked by the teacher and was I late in physics lesson . After that, I was not particularly happy that I did a favor to somebody. James Thomson's The Seasons (The Zong Massacre was the name given to the mass-killing of African slaves that took place in 1781 on the Zong). The violent power of the sea and the strange sea creatures represent the forces of nature punishing the guilty. The painting was widely admired for its use of colour and the way in which sea and sky merge around the distant ship. In the lower portion of the painting, hands of enslaved Africans can be seen still shackled(aheldatud). Turner makes a particularly effective contrast between distant and near views in The Slave Ship. The painting is currently on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, USA. My opinion is that The slave ship is very beautiful painting and I like that one half of the picture is dark and the other half is light.

John Constable 1776-1837 Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows Constable is famous for his landscapes, which are mostly of the Suffolk countryside, where he was born and lived. He made many open-air sketches, using these as a basis for his large exhibition paintings, which were worked up in the studio. His pictures are extremely popular today, but they were not particularly well received in England during his lifetime. He did, however, have considerable success in Paris. Sailsbury Cathedral from the Meadows was painted by John Consatble in 1831, one year after his wife's death. He later added nine lines from ,,The Seasons" by 18th Century poet James Thomson that reveal the painting's meaning: That the rainbow is a symbol of hope after a storm that follows on the death of the young Amelia in the arms of her lover Celadon.

Essey: Capital Punishment

The adherents of the death penalty refer to public safety. Still, even though violent criminals are locked away from the society forever, there is also another possibility for the inmate to escape the full punishment. However proving whether one is guilty or not is a very complicated and time-consuming process. From an ethical perspective, the death penalty is, undoubtedly, a violation of human rights. Most death penalty critics charge that it is particularly barbaric when applied to mentally retarded people and juvenile delinquents. In this case, capital punishment looks like senseless cruelty. A number of states had already passed legislation adopted by the Supreme Court in June 2002 prohibiting such executions to this group of people. As for juvenile delinquents, we should admit their lack of maturity thus they may be less culpable than adults who commit crimes. Ultimately, the death penalty is an utter denial of human rights. It

Capital punishment (essay)

Sandra Demitseva Capital punishment The opinions on capital punishment are usually based on justice and moral. There are people who believe that an ideal community should be merciful even to the ones who have not shown mercy, but there are also people who think that violating the rights of fellow members of the community, particularly if it happens consistently, should be punished as severely as the death sentence. Most Christians are firmly against capital punishment, because they believe that there is some good in every person, even if he does not show any regret for what he has done. Not all people are as mature as to have such forgiveness in them. On the other hand this type of forgiveness cannot be a groundsel for the larger community, because it requires that you should really know the person that is in question.

Living in the countryside – a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship?

Living in the countryside might be challenging for a modern human being, but it definitely has benefits for both mind and body. Countryside living spaces are usually less polluted, the pace of life is slower and people are more in touch with nature. Still, there is less entertainment than in cities, distances are longer and it can take much more time to get medical help if needed. Moving from city to country has been the traditional path for those in their 30s and 40s, particularly if children are involved. Nowadays flat rates in cities can be more expensive than living in a house in the countryside. Therefore, living in the countryside can be more affordable. In addition, the countryside is generally quiet and peaceful without the toxic polluted water and air. Some people prefer to live in the country for ecological reasons. For example, eating home- grown or locally grown food may easily become a part of lifestyle. Some people even raise their own animals

But what are the advantages of both options? To begin with, the benfits of university cannot be denied. Even today people with degrees and more skilled workers are in need. Over the next ten years most of the new jobs will need people who have skills and education that universities offer. Moreover, not only does a degree boost your education and skills, it also enables you to earn a better living. Nevertheless, going to work after secondary school has its advantages too, particularly when a person is not interested in studying hard for five years. For example, it is wise to start working in a large company, where you have room for growth and which has a higher number of positions. Therefore, you can get your foot in the door and have the opportunity to build your skills, earn money and start climbing the career ladder. In conclusion, although I would rather go to university after secondary school to give

Can you buy everything for money?

In my opinion, as well as many others have money in the all-powerful, for it can get things done, you should not get in when it is earned. However, I need to stay alive. Money has grown to what it is today. It was originally just a matter of money, which can be converted or wood grain, it was the same as those of high value goods themselves. But now the money is much more valuable than the products, which could be for any amount. Cash be particularly useful purposes, than for evil deeds. Money is indeed a topic that concerns the very large number, then you're not rich or poor, it still affects the lives and the way we live. People should understand that money does not have to be so, that I had a lot of money is intended primarily to allow life to live as love. After all, we all dream of unlimited money and a lifestyle that would allow us to do everything. One might assume that wealth is based on a high enough IQ, education, contacts, etc

Litter in our country

Litter is a problem throughout the country, particularly in urban areas and in the more populated areas of Kiev, Kharkov, Donetsk and others. People litter on the banks of the rivers, in parks, in the streets. A lack of bins is not a major factor in littering. Sometimes you can see the bin in the street, and a pile of litter half a meter away from it. The main reason of littering is behaviour. The more litter people see on the street the more inclined to litter. For example, cinema complexes, football ground and theatres are cleaned up but such areas as parks and streets are neglected. But people don't think that litter can be dangerous. It can especially be dangerous when it involves items such as broken glass, needles and syringes. Litter can get into the drainage system and block it. Litter scattered all over the city. Makes it look ugly. And it usually costs a lot of money to clean up the city every year. Speculation about Shakespeare

Authorship Main article: Shakespeare authorship question Around 150 years after Shakespeare's death, doubts began to be expressed about the authorship of the works attributed to him.[172] Proposed alternative candidates include Francis Bacon, Christopher Marlowe, and Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford.[173] Several "group theories" have also been proposed.[174] Only a small minority of academics believe there is reason to question the traditional attribution,[175] but interest in the subject, particularly the Oxfordian theory of Shakespeare authorship, continues into the 21st century. [176] Religion Main article: Shakespeare's religion Some scholars claim that members of Shakespeare's family were Catholics, at a time when Catholic practice was against the law.[177] Shakespeare's mother, Mary Arden, certainly came from a pious Catholic family. The strongest evidence might be a Catholic statement of faith signed by John Shakespeare, found in 1757 in the rafters of his former house in Henley Street

contribution from nitrogen. The violet we often see is due to nitrogen, as is most blue colouring. The charged particles originate from the sun, and it is the 'weather' conditions on the sun that decide whether or not we will see the aurora. Particles can stream out from the sun and some are captured by the Earth's magnetic field and find their way into the polar regions. How high up are the Northern Lights? Most aurorae occur between 90 and 130 km above sea level, but some, particularly the ray-like forms, extend to several hundred kilometers up. In comparison, the usual altitude for a jet aircraft is around 10km and the ozone layer lies between 20 and 30km so we have to be almost up at the heights of satellites orbits to be at the same height as the aurora Best Northern Lights pic ever?
