The mysterious affair at styles
The Christies bought a house and named it 'Styles' after the first novel.In 1930, Christie married
with Max Mallowan. Their marriage was especially happy. Sir Max Edgar LucienMallowan,
CBE (6 May 1904 19 August 1978) was a prominent British archaeologist. Agatha Christie's
travels with Mallowan contributed background to several of her novels set in the Middle
East.Christie died on January 12, 1976 in Wallingford, Oxforshire.
