Too much money is being spent on preserving the old part of town
For this reason money spent on
old parts of Tallinn is not money wasted. Tourism is extremely important in todays economy
and the Old Town of Tallinn is the main Estonian tourist attraction. It even became a
UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and it is often referred to as the medieval pearl of
Europe.
I believe that conserving old parts of Tallinn is absolutely justified. The Old Town is truly
beautiful and we should not take it for granted. In orded to preserve it's beauty we need to
spend money on it.
