It is situated on the northern coast of the country, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, 80 km south of Helsinki, east of Stockholm and west of Saint Petersburg. Firstly, the positive sides are that the old ones do all the work that you do not want to do. They clean and cook. In the mornings you can eat homemade warm pancakes with jam. They do all things you want, they even give money to you. Secondly, there are some negative sides too. You do not have so much private space. I am buying myself an apartment I would like to buy a apartment – I am 25 years old and I have some saving, actually – a lots of savings. I have saved a lot of money to buy my dream apartment in Tallinn. What kind of apartment would I like to buy? The apartment has to be in the downtown, it would be perfect, if it is located in Tallinn’s old town. The apartment should definitely have excellent view to the old town, it should be large and wide. I would love, when the apartment is in old house and if it is renovated, but still has some vintage style. The most important thing is that the apartment has to have two or more floors. Good dream, huh? In fact, in old town, there is an apartment that fits to my requirements – apartments like that are expensive and I have to get a loan. I decided that I will take the loan from Swedbank, SEB or LHV, because they offer a loan, that has better conditions

Since the economy is not in a good shape right now the question of financing the old parts of Tallinn has been raised. Many people claim that spending money on preserving the old parts of Tallinn is not the best idea when people are having hard times. They are having trouble with making money in the first place. Also there are other fields, which are more important than the Old Town, such as education that need to be financed. Nevertheless, the Old Town is very important to tourism. For this reason money spent on old parts of Tallinn is not money wasted. Tourism is extremely important in todays economy

It was a perfectly ordinary Friday evening

It was a perfectly ordinary Friday evening. Dark, muddy and full moon shining in the sky.Parents decided to go to our summer cottage on this weekend. It is a little old house in the woods, but not far from our house there are ohter summer cottages. Father helped us carry things into the house, after that sister and I decided to take a walk in the woods. Mom asked us to be careful, because people were talking about a creature that was hairy, fast and with bloody eyes and sharp teeth. We thought it is unbelivable and funny, just for people could have something to talk about. After all it seemed impossible. We took different way than usually

What is the best age to be?

What is the best age to be? The question we all may ask ourselves time and time again. What is the best age to be? In my opinion there is not a best age and because of that is a question that will always be left unanswered. The life span approach emphasizes developmental change is throughout adulthood as well as childhood. As a 18 year old female I cannot really choose a specific age group that would be best in the life in every aspect, because I have not yet reached certain age periods of my life span development. All ages have great and bad things. When you are a child your freedom is limited and it mostly depends on your parents´ mood at that time. Some examples like where you have to be home at 9.00pm and no TV until you´ve cleaned your room. Also then you have problems, but only the ones generated at school

Writing an article - Paradise at the Adriatic Sea

Paradise at the Adriatic Sea I have visited some interesting places around the world. The best place I have ever been to is Dubrovnik, located in the south of the Croatia. This town is very old and has a really interesting history. Nowadays this is one of the most famous resorts in Europe. Climate, of course is hot as the town is located at the Adriatic Sea. It consist of two parts : the old town and the new one. The old town is the primary objective for tourists who visit Dubrovnik. Narrow strelets full of different souvenir shops and restaurants are worth of visiting. The old town isn't the onlt place to visit there. Outside of the town walls you can find even more resturants, where you can sit next to the sea and enjoy fish and seafood dishes from the local Croatian kitchen. When you are full of local guisine, you can take diving lessons

History of the English language

Suppletion Present in languages of different families. Present in Old, Middle and Modern English, though the general tendency is towards more regularity/iconicity so the number of suppletive forms has decreased. In the text: goon to go wenden - to turn Gan was suppletive in Old English, past form: eode.Eode was supplanted by went (past form of wenden) at the end of the Middle English period. To wend has survived in Modern English in phrases such as to wend one's way, we wended homewards (ironic usage). Thus: suppletivity- suppletion different parts of one and the same paradigm come from what were originally different paradigms (different words with close meanings or words in different but close dialects).Suppletion embraces verbs, adjectives, nouns.
