to get in to see the W i z a r d . Only the information that he's dealing with "the Witch's
Dorothy" convinces him to go confer with the W i z a r d . W h i l e he's gone, the Lion
sings "If I Were King of the Forest," expressing his aspirations.
Message: T h e credentials of experience may have to be presented repeatedly
at successive rungs of power. W h e n delayed by obstacles, heroes do well to get
acquainted with their fellow adventurers and learn of their hopes and dreams
