I obviously understand that it is illegal and we should not do it but the question is, should we be able to do it legally. To begin with, music is a big part of our lives. If children were not given the ability to cheer them up with music, the depression levels would definitely be higher, as well as less motivation in children. For an example, the average American child listens to 4 hours of music in a day. I personally listen to at least 5 hours of music a day and all that from the computer when I get home. I couldn't live without music What is music? In my opinion music is a real art, not only a sound and lyrics. It makes people want to sing or dance. It makes us feel happy, sad, inspired or uplifted. Music influences our mood in all kinds of infinite ways. Music is outlet for my feelings. I can't find one song that doesn't remind me someone or something i've been went through. Survey Report To: European youth union From: a member of the student committee Subject: A big music festival in Estonia The purpose of this report is to analyse the results of the survey conducted in Pärnu Coeducational Gymnasium. We questioned 500 stundents, from forms 7 to 9 and 10 to 12. As can be seen from the table the most popular genres of music among forms 7 to 9 were pop and rap. Pop music was liked by 21% of all students and rock music by 17%. Furthermore, quite popular was rock music, so we should consider including this genre in to our music festival, but the biggest problem with rock bands is that they have a lot of different musical instruments so we should consider building bigger stage. According to our questioning that we handed out to our gymnasium classes three most popular genres were dance, rock and also pop. The percentages as seen from the table were 29%, 24% and 31%

Differences between two forms To start with, students forms 7 to 9 are mostly listening Pop which makes the biggest percent of survey 35%. Form 10 to 12 is listening more Rock. Also form 7-9 have quite big percentage in Pop music notably 29%. Although, younger students have bigger percentages is their preferments unstable. However, older students are listening likely majority of music Pop, Rock and Dance. In fact, only 3% of 7 to 9 form and 7% 10 to 12 form listening classical music. Music that should be performed At the festival should be performed Rap because many students in younger forms like it and certainly Pop because that is very popular in both form. Arvo Pärt Author: Heli Kopter Life Pärt grew up in Rakvere. He went to study music at the the Tallinn Conservatory (now The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre), graduating in 1963. He was influenced by medieval and Renaissance music. He became a popular composer during the 1960's. In 1976 Pärt created his signature tintinnabuli style. His best known works are Für Alina and Spiegel im Spiegel. In 1980, Pärt left Soviet Estonia in search of creative freedom in Vienna, and later Berlin. Some Facts He was known for his self-invented compositional technique tintinnabuli. His tintinnabuli technique resembled the ringing of bells and was best displayed in his composition "Spiegel im Spiegel" from 1978.

Comparing two singers of different genres The aim of this report is to compare two great singers. The chosen pop-singers are Sting and Lowry. They both present two different styles in nowadays music: Sting is representor of rock music and Lowry and Estonian artist who makes r'n'b, urban and pop music. Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner (born 2 October 1951), almost universally known by his stage name Sting, is an English musician. He was the principal songwriter, lead singer and bassist of the rock band The Police. Sting has sold over 100 million records and received sixteen Grammy Awards for his work. Comparing artists This report describes two different artists. The first one is Troyal Garth Brooks, American country music artist, and the second one is Tracy Chapman, American pop singer and songwriter. Her music is passionate and rhytmical, yet relaxing, enjoyed mostly by younger people. Lenny Kravitz, American singer-songwriter, is on the other hand more for old-school people, producing different styles, starting with rock and funk, to end with folk and ballads. Usually you would think, that title "Bleeding Love" would refer to something really corny, when it actually does not. The song refers to someone in a relationship, blinded by love and has no other option but to "bleed love" for a loved one.
