Through the years motocycles are changed. The motors are now more powerful, appearence is designed by professionals, equipment is better than ever. It has happened because peole are interested in extreme sport and competition is bigger. To become a good rider, you must do hard work. Regular trainings helps to keep physically fit. Running, swimming, going to finess centre changes you stronger and giver more power. But the main training takes place in track. In motocross, there are many forms: Freestyle, Pit Bikes & Mini-Motocross, Supermoto, ATV/Quad Motocross, Sidecars and Supercross. There are different classes: 50cc, 65cc, 85cc, 125-250cc, 450-525cc. Classes are divided by the power of motors. The world is dominated by two main Motocross series; the World Championship series and American National Championship. Another important series for example European champion ship and Junior Champion ship.

COMPETITION Half-pipe- The half-pipe is a semi-circular ditch or purpose built ramp (that is usually on a downward slope), between 8 and 22 feet (6.7 m) deep. Competitors perform tricks while going from one side to the other and while in the air above the sides of the pipe. Boarder-cross- In Boarder-cross (also known as "Boarder X"), several riders (usually 4, but sometimes 6) race down a course similar to a motorcycle motocross track (with jumps, berms and other obstacles constructed out of snow on a downhill course). COMPETITION Rail Jam- Riders perform tricks on rails, boxes, pipes, wall rides, and several other creative features. Kahtlemata oli Väino Leok see, kes on Eesti motokrossi paljuski mõjutanud. Tema loodud motodünastia on üks suurimaid maailmas. Tänu Väino fantastilisele ja visale tööle tegelevad motokrossiga ka tema pojad Avo, Aivar, Arvo ning tema pojapojad Tanel, Aigar ja Martin. Aastal 2003 täitus tema üks suurim unistus Motocross des Nations ehk meeskondlikel motokrossi MM-võistlusel kuulusid Eesti rahvuskoondisse kolm Leokit: Aigar, Tanel ja Avo. Eesti Vabariigi president Arnold Rüütel tunnustas ettevõtjat ja motospordi arendajat Väino Leokit seoses Eesti Vabariigi 85. aastapäevaga Valgetähe V klassi teenetemärgiga.
