What might attract foreigners to Estonia? Estonia is a small country in Nothern Europe, but it is visited by people all over the world. One of the things that definitely attracts people is the seasons. There are four seasons in Estonia- spring, summer, autumn, winter. I think they make Estonia very special. Another thing is the climate. It is not too cold in winter or too warm in summer. Winters are usually snowy and you can go skiing and ice skating. In the summer you can enjoy days at the beach. The capital city of Estonia is Tallinn, which has a very beautiful Old Town. Pärnu is the summer capital, which attracts people with its beautiful beach. There are a lot of isalands, lakes and rivers in Estonia. Saaremaa is the biggest island, and it is very beautiful. Might the Welsh language face a bright future? Welsh belongs to a branch of Celtic, an Indo-European language. The language is being used about half a million people in Wales and possibly another few hundred thousand people within England and even Australia and United States of America. The normal language of every day life is still English but in some regions such as Gwynedd and Dyfed, the use of Welsh is very wide and well spread. The tendency nowadays is towards the development and introduction of Welsh. This could not have been said at the first part of the 20th century. Welsh have been under the reign or a part of Great Britain for a long time. During the 16 th century, particularly at the time of Henry the VIII, they tried to force the Welsh language out by an Act which declared that the language to be used in courts and administrative offices would have to be English. And of course the most natural process ...
What life might be like a hundred years from now? Life nowadays is changing very fast. We are having phones, full on different features, with last ten years, almost every family have their own computer and in some countries everyday food is changed with genetically modified food. But how our life can be changed after hundred years? In 2112, we are living in Earth. We are not using air, because after air pollution, it is dangerous for people to breathe it. We are definitely driving with aircrafts, because we ran out of fuel over 50 years ago. Because Earth is very polluted, there isn't any way to grow food. All food is made in factories from plastic and other chemical stocks, so they are not very healthy. Poor people live only about 20 years old, because people get their vitamins and nutrients, to be live, only from chemist's. All cars are converted to aircrafts. Traffic accidents are not so tragic...
Billy Elliot ,,Billy Elliot" is a movie directed by Stephen Daldry, which is amazingly touching and shouldn't be missed by anyone. When I first found out we were going to watch a film in our English class, at the beginning I was very sceptic, but after the first 15 minutes I already liked it. In fact, I ended up loving this film. This movie inspires lot's of young people to follow their dreams no matter how far they might have to reach and how difficult it might look in the beginning. The main character is this 11-year-old boy named Billy, played by Jamie Bell. His life is quite miserable as he lives in a small town with his father and an older brother. His father forces him to go boxing to continue a family tradition of boxers, but Billy is not really good at it and he doesn't like it either. Then suddenly Billy finds himself a new hobby he actually enjoys and that is ballet. There is a small ballet group in this town, taught by Ms Wilkinson (Julie
How much does life weigh? The question can be understood differently. Some might take it word by word, others in some metaphorical way. Many are convinced that a human body has an immortal part - a soul. With knowing how few it actually weights, we can only assume what we have in these grams and whether it is anything worth at all. First of all, what do we claim to be a soul? It is our conscience with no form or location. It is the energy that is a part of the whole universe. In consideration of this, every human being has their own soul
I´m going to talk about Sandra Bullock. The reason I´ve chosen her is that she is my favourite actress and people had said that I look same as her and I hope you will lear a few things about her. As for her background she was born in July 26, 1964, in Arlington, a Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. Did you know that her mother, Helga Bullock was a German opera singer and her father, John W. Bullock was an American voice teacher, who was born in Alabama. You might not know that Sandra grew up on the road with her parents and younger sister and spent much of her childhood in Nuremberg, Germany. She often performed in the children´s choirs since she was 5. That singing talent later came in handy for her role as an aspiring country singer in North Carolina, where she studied acting. Shortly afterward she moved to New York to pursue a career on the stage. Her breakthrough role was in Demolition
Work or University? After finishing secondary education students have to decide vhether to go to work or continue their education at a university. If a student decides to go to work after finishing secondary school, he does not have the best advantages for getting a good job. Today employers value high-quality vocational qualifications, so it might not be as good as choice as continuing your education. However, if a student chooses to continue his education, he has many possibilities, for example, university or vocational education. At a university he can choose what he wants to study and for how long, for instance, to get a bachelors degree he has to complete three years of study at a university. And after graduating from university he can, continue with post-garduate studies to complete a masters degree and then doctoral degree.
Emigrating. (essay) Moving from one country to another has been a common thing for centuries. However, emigration has both advantages and disadvantages. One the plus side, moving away from your home country can be a really interesting and unforgettable experience and it also broadens your mind. Secondly, you might get a better job. Young people often move away from their homeland, because they think that they might get a better education, if they study in a well-known university. Finally, you can find a lot of new friends. However, for every plus there is a minus. The main disadvantage is that you might start feeling homesick, because you have left all your relatives and friends behind. Culture shock can also be a problem. It might not be so easy to get used to local traditionds and customs. Moreover, the language barrier might be a huge problem.

For and against studying abroad At first it will definitely seem exciting, scary and overwhelming to study and live in another country and far away from all your friends and family back home. This experience will expanded your horizons and make you more independent. Obviously there are both pros and cons to studying abroad, and here is what I think they might be. I believe that there are many advantages that the time abroad will provide you. For instance you will make a lot of friends from all over the world. It is always nice to have a place to stay when you accidentally end up in Japan or Australia for a few days. Being an exchange student is also a fabulous chance for travelling. Getting to know a new country so well is definitely not possible during a holiday or a short visit. Besides living in a new culture

surgery. This is getting through to the young people of today, but is it OK for a teenager to get cosmetic surgery? Many people nowadays think that teenagers are getting more independent. They often do things on their own and sometimes things that they wouldn't be proud of in the future. It is certainly true that cosmetic surgery costs a lot of money. People under the age of age of eighteen live with their parents. Usually parents have to cover their expenses. On the other hand minors might get into an accident and need cosmetic surgery to look the same again. If disfigured a child can feel left out which is not good. Another point in favor is that some people might have a serious birth defect like cleft lip and they might want to get it removed. To sum up, minors might use cosmetic surgery a lot but rarely do they really need it. On my opinion cosmetic surgery should only be given to those who need it with a doctor's subscription.

Have you ever wondered what travelling gives to people? Is it just all about getting away from home or something more? The person who has seen the world has more knowledge about the things going on elsewhere. From a personal standpoint, travelling is one of the ways how to accomplish themselves, for example some people go abroad only with a packback just to see if they could live without fancy hotels and only little cash in their pockets. On the other hand, it might get really hard to get food and shelter but young people like adventures. The second reason, why so many young people travel to other countries is that they want to become an exchange student. This also includes very much travelling and seeing the land. Unfortunately, it might be a sad travel because of missing their family. From a religious and historical point of view, it can be said that travelling can be really
beneficial for students?“. It is noticeable that student organizations are quite popular subject right now. Topical issue is that there may be different opinion about how beneficial student organizations for students really are. Student organizations usefulness could be disputable, beacause there are always postive and negative side to everything. One the one hand it appears that some students might support and think that student organizations are really advantageous for them and others do not support that idea. For example many stundents might complain about that sudent organizations are full of politics and assuming that they do not consider it necessary and beneficial to join any of them. It seems that they may have based their opinion on someone else’s comments or experience and not on their personal experience. In addition it appears that students might not know the plus

Why are people ingnorig evironmental issues? People are always talking about environmental issues without actually doing anything about it.There are not many people who are devoted to saving the Earth. It seems like people just do not care, but that might be just a small part of the reason. The biggest reason for ignoring environmental issues might be that people tend to focus on immediate problems rather than on problems that are far away in the future and seem unrealistic. If there is no immediate danger or a problem to be fixed, than people just do not consider it to be important. And people do have immediate problems to be fixed, because life is getting busier each day. People have already so much to worry about, they do not have the time to make „Earth saving plans“. The perfect reason, or rather an excuse is
odrinary people than it is today In fifty years time the wolrd will be very diffriend from what it is today. In my opinion people will gather into two groups ones that will love and be obsessed with robots and other new technology and the ones who want to live like their grandmothers and grandfathers. They want to grow their own food and give up on technology. Most likely technology will improve faster than ever and that might cause some problems. Like in the movie ,,I,Robot".People will improve technology so fast that they will make mistakese mistakse that might kill human race. They might build robots so advance that we won't be able to control them anymore. Also there is the ,,Clobal Warming" people are talking about. The world will run out of water. People will die in thirst. Waters price will be higher than a kg of gold. On the other hand when people will devide in two diffrent groups there won't be such a
light workout a day could really do you good. Another fact is that you should get atleastfour and a half hours’ sleep, under no circumstances you should go into an exam under these sleeping hours. This is the absolute minimum. But the most important thing is that you start revising long before you actually have this exam, maybe even draw up a revising timetable, so you wouldn’t cram the night before. IV Even though this is a sensible statement, some people might disagree with it. Futhermore, they might think that there is no proper way to revise because they might not have a certain way of memorizing things, for example it might be a mixture of writing and hearing. V All in all, i think that it is very important to find a proper way for you to revise so you could make the best out of your exams.
Positive sides of the economic recession The economic recession is inevitable. Without it people would not have any understanding about how economy works and what are the future expectations. During the recession people start thinking about cheaper ways of living. Since the monthly income might not be as brave as it was before, they turn their attention to discounted alternative products and find out that for example it may be possible to use low-priced detergents instead of purchasing a highly recommended one and double the expense. Also, a lot of enterprises and companies gain experience from recessions. They might suffer under lack of different resources for example financial and material crisis. However, if the
Do factories affect us unfavourbly or can they also be positive? On the one hand, there are some advantages of building new factories. Firstly, unemployed people get new job. Secondly, country gets huge income from successful company. Next, if factories uses recyclable material, it would save earths resources and also slow down global warming. On the other hand, there are some throwbacks as well. Firstly, companies which do not have experience with factories might produce an enormous amount of air pollution. Secondly, sophisticated combinations need highly educated experts, otherwise failure might cause chemical fires, which may lead to catastrophic disasters. What is more, new factories tend to start with cheap products which are produced with toxic chemicals and usually end up polluting our groundwater. In conclusion, there are clearly both marvelous and terrible sides to building new factories.
Reading this report you will get to know what are the parts of the body that get injured most frequently. The first parts of the body are fingers. According to the graph fingers are most commonly injured 13, 4 %.I think that is normal, because we use our fingers all the time and it is easy to cut into yourself . If you have injured yourself with a knife , then you should try to stop the bleeding and use a plaster. The second most common injuries happen to your skulls 6,5 %. You might hurt your skull by falling or getting hit by something. If you do injure your skull then it is better to see a doctor, who will tell you what to do. This graph shows that eyes are injured also quite commonly-6,1 %. Your eyes might get hurt because of wind or something might fall into them. If your eyes are, hurt then you should use eye drops, and if they are not helping, then go and see a doctor. To conclude, according to this graph people injure themselves in many different ways
What should be done, that marriage works. (essay) When two people fall in love, they might consider getting married. When they are married, they both hope that their happy life will last forever. There's a lot they can do, to make their marriage work. What clearly needs to be done, is that people shouldn't rush into marriage. They need to take some time to get to know each other very well, because they might find out, that they are too different for each other. This might lead to divorce, and thats what nobody wants. A couple should always be absolutely sure about their love and dedication, before they make such an important decision. Another suggestion is that partners should be supportive in every possible situation. Almost every marriage has some problems. If they have problems, they should discuss things and find the best solutions. They should be flexible. It depends on
more comfortable in it when you know you've worked very hard to get it. Another good thing about training every day is that you feel more energized. Usually you wake up in the morning and feel very tired, but when you go on a daily run, it wakes you up and you feel a lot better during the day. Some people think that it is bad for your health to train daily, but I disagree. Studies have shown that people who train are more healthy and they don't get ill as often as other people. There might be few negative things when you train each day, but it's usually because people get too into it. You shouldn't train so hard that you overwhelm your body. It doesn't get you bigger muscle or burn more fat. The other thing that people might do is that they start at early age which might stop you from growing taller. I think that every people should train every day for their own good. You are more healthy and you feel better about yourself. You just have to adjust it, so you
Friendship Friends are a very important part of most people's lives. Research shows that having quality relationships increases your likelihood of being happy - so it's good for your happiness to be a great friend and to have a group of close friends surrounding you too. A good friend might be someone who's there to provide support when times are tough, or someone you can rely on to celebrate a special moment with you. Friends might come and go in our life, they might make us laugh and cry, but most importantly they love us for who we are. It doesn't matter what a person looks like or what kind of clothes they wear, but it's what's on the inside that counts. It's the actions they take, no matter how big or small, to show us how much of a good friend they are, and being there for us no matter what, even when things get rough. Friends are always there for us,
Travelling in the world There are many ways how to travel in the world. For example some people like to travel in their own country, other people like to travel trough the world and visit different exotic places. There are also different reasons for travelling. Some travel to learn more about other cultures, learn about other countrys history, others might travel just to have some fun and meet new people. Travelling has many positive sides. When people have traveled to a completely different country, then they can compare the life in their own country and the country they are visiting. It makes people see how they can enjoy their life more. Visiting other places also is very good for practicing other languages and communicating with people. Some people only travel to learn history of other regions.
,,INFOVABADUS JA KODANIKUKULTUUR" Dangers As we see ICTs have many advantages, but there is always the other side. There are dangers that one must be aware of. For example one must remember that everything that is once on internet will always be there. Your future employer can see the pictures that you have uploaded to Facebook and other sites like this. And I think that it is bad to share too much personal information online. You will never know who might abuse it and how it's done. There is a lot of anonymity online. That's a danger too because it seems that you can say everything and there will be no punishment but actually it is not like that at all. If there is insulting or threatening online there is a way to find out who did it. There are many children online. So they are threatened too. There are many predators who might claim to be someone that they are not and make friends with children. Then when
on topics they have been studying at school. In addition not all of them have time to deal with homework at home. So if school gave them computers, they could use their free time during breaks to do essential things for their education. Or if school allowed to take computers with them, some people could study even while travelling home. Although computers are a great technological invention for people all around the world, they might have few disadvantages for their users. Younger students might be really interfered by the number of options they can do with their computer. Most of all children have accounts in different social networks and if they are given an opportunity to feel free while using computer at school they might get carried away and forget the purpose of this device at certain lessons. Finally, there have been many complaints about plagiarism. As long as the internet has unlimited amount of information, many students tend to copy
suicide, I used to self-harm (just that one time), I cried myself to sleep several nights. The wors thing I did, was that I kept the most of things inside me. I didn't say anyone what was happening to me. The most important thing is to tell maybe your best friend, or mom, or teacher what's going on and I'm sure they can help. But also it has one consequence what would probably last for their entire life: because of the bullying in the past, they might have low self-esteem. That makes them think about everything they do. They're insecure and they think that something is wrong with the way they act or look all the time. People need to stop bulling to make the world a better place. The second thing I would do is lessen homework. Teachers give us homework in 5 days of the week. If we want to suceed then we have no choice to do homework. But sometimes we get too much of it. We don't have the strenght or skills to do them
earth in case something happens to our planet. Many things could happen since humans are taking advantage of earth's natural resources like oil and building dangerous factories that produce toxic waste. With space travel we could find planets that have the material to replace our resources and maybe get rid of the toxic waste we no longer have room here. Besides that, a war could break out involving majority of the countries which would lead to total destruction and it might be harder to rebuild the society here than to move to another planet that is not damaged. On the other hand, the money and time we would spend on space exploration by making it our priority might be better off spent here on earth. We could instead study our planet more to find new ways we could make living here better. Also we could invest in building better factories, which wouldn't damage the earth and put our lives in danger.
We'ev been living this way for a very long time and now they think they're going to change the world and everything will be as it has been forever. I don't think so. One the one hand it would be great for some people, because I think that if you can choose if he or she is smart then you probably could change some kind of disease that has been in the family for decades. On the other hand, if you can choose, you can make and somebody might make something grazy out of it, legally. They might make another frankenstein for all we know. In my option I think we should leave it be as it is. We'ev changed evolution so many times that the world might not survive this one. As you can see, technology is developing in front of our own eyes, there isn't much we can do. But You could start thinking like einstein, who said: "I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.".

Use of mobile phones in school Introduction This report explains why mobile phones are important for students, and makes recommendations about their use in the school. This information comes from several students and their parents. Why mobile phones are necessary 1 Some students chat in English and find this helpful. 2 It might be necessary to phone home if a student has transport problems. 3 Students' parents might need to contact them urgently if some other emergency have had occurred Recommendations Everyone agrees that mobile phones can be irritating but they can be extremely useful at times. Students should check that phones are switched off before classes start. We do not believe they should be banned. Kristjan Heinrand 12b
Speech: Ideas are our greatest weapons Hello class and classmates, I would like to open up my speech with a quote that I find really amazing: „The pen is mightier than the sword”. Sadly I don't know whose it is, but it means, that not every war has to be fought with swords and weapons, coming up with an idea about something that isn't violent might be a lot easier way to conquer in life. I think that all of you know that every tool, weapon, Everything that surrounds us, has started with an idea. That shouldn't be new for you. Some people might find it hard to believe, but even the most common things- like chairs, walls, even a pack of bread has been an idea once. Someone had probably felt that his or her legs got tired and sitting on floor might not be so comfortable, so one chose to invent a chair
can write less but better. When writers have to adapt story from the book, it gets more complicated. Firstly they have to get to the very core message what the book has to say and even speak to the original writer. Then all the rough material has to be watered down to fit to the strict time limit for the movie. That means, maybe altering story, events, characters, back story. When making dialogue shorter, meaningful messages might get lost or doesn’t have such powerful delivery to the viewer. The problem with making screenplay based on a book, is that it gets altered, which doesn’t mean it supposed to be bad, but it doesn’t give the same effect as the book would give. From the directors point of view time also means trouble. He has to constantly analyze what kind of shot is best to support the story, how long it should be and what kind of details it should contain
Everytime you change country, it is required to know basic things about it, like language, history, differences and so many other important things. In Estonia you can learn how to be a diplomat in Diplomatic School. It is very difficult to get in because every year they accept only around 30 students. You have to be flexible in your working hours because probably with the job you have to attend a lot of meetings or gatherings in the evenings. Conditions might be different depending on the country you are staying, like in America you'll probably have very good living environment, but if you have to compare it wiht Ukraine or Belarus then there are differences. Working in this field requires at least a degree from the university in any kind of subject that interests you. In my mind it would be better to get a degree in languages or in public relations, something that has anything to do with the work. It is good if the person who
People mostly listen radio in car and work station. Radio is convenient because people get short news and it is entertaining. Also, radio can be listened via mobile or MP3 player. In addition, the Internet is the most popular nowadays. From the children to the seniors, everyone use it. For example, children use it for entertainment and social networking, like mängukoobas and rate or facebook. On the other hand, grown-ups use it for reading news and their job might involve the Internet. From the Internet you can find information very quickly and easily. Furthermore, newspaper is the oldest media channel in last centuries. It is the only one that doesn't need electricity. Also, it is easily readable in public transport. Newspaper treats the news in greater depth. For example, long interviews, analyses. Many people value this when they can read something they hold in their hands.
Also use them for information that is so complex as to be confusing to the reader without a visual representation of the item, part or process to which he can refer as he carries out the manual's instructions. 4 Make the reader understand the purpose of each action and each step in the process, motivating her to complete each one by explaining the reason for it and the benefits of following the directions presented in the manual. Don't make the reader guess why an action might be necessary or wonder how it would be helpful. Doing so might cause her to skip a necessary step or avoid an entire process that could greatly simplify her life--and greatly increase her enthusiasm for your product. 5 Break the process down into small, easy-to-remember steps. Then present the steps in sequential order, from first to last, being sure that each step leads logically to the next. Be sure
encapsulation, modularity, polymorphism, and inheritance. It was not commonly used in mainstream software application development until the early 1990s. Many modern programming languages now support OOP. Class Defines the abstract characteristics of a thing (object), including the thing's characteristics (its attributes, fields or properties) and the thing's behaviors (the things it can do, or methods, operations or features). One might say that a class is a blueprint or factory that describes the nature of something. For example, the class Dog would consist of traits shared by all dogs, such as breed and fur color (characteristics), and the ability to bark and sit (behaviors). Classes provide modularity and structure in an object-oriented computer program. A class should typically be recognizable to a non- programmer familiar with the problem domain, meaning that the characteristics of the class should make sense in context
Birds are animals Dogs are animals Therefore, dogs are birds. This is a bad argument, because the conclusion does not follow from the premises. Logic is the science of correct reasoning. Logic helps us in constructing and evaluating arguments. How to recognize an argument? Generally a passage contains an argument if it attemps to prove something. It requires evidence presented (premise(s)) and a claim that is said to follow from the alleged evidence (conclusion). This inferential relationship might be explicit or implicit. The relationship between the premises and the conclusion might be explicitly expressed thanks to words that serve as indicators to distinguish the premises from the conclusion. Conclusion indicators Swans are birds and birds have wings. Therefore, swans must have wings. The word “Therefore” indicates the conclusion which are claimed to follow from the premises. for helping. Mercy killing should not be punished. People with terminal illness usually experience a lot suffering and when they have a choice whether to live in pain and be a burden to their family and hospital or die in peace, many usually prefer the second choice. Some prefer to die with dignity and if mercy killing would be punished they simply would have the freedom of choose. On the other hand mercy killing should be punished. If mercy killing becomes something usual younger people might start thinking life has a smaller value. A tremendous amount of resources is used to keep the terminally ill people alive and doctors might start using euthanasia as something to save up the resources. In the end it all comes down to the person himself, whether he wants to live or die, and being punished for helping another person end his suffering should not be allowed.
Nowadays there are many museums in every country and almost in every city. Despite that people still do not visit museums as much as doing other activities. What might be the reasons of this? There are certain arguments in favour of visiting museums. The first important advantage of museums is that it educates and broadens your mind. For example, when you go to visit the exhibition, you learn more about the painter and the story behind the picture. Another advantage of museums is that it represents the country. As a result tourists become more aware of our country. On the other hand, there are people who are against of visiting museums. The main
Faria reaches Dantes by means of a tunnel that took him 3 years to dig with his makeshift tools. Even though he had limited resources, Faria made matches, a lantern, a ladder, and a knife. Faria hid all these tools behind two separate rocks in his cell. All of these things show how smart Faria really was. Faria's intelligence is what helps Dantes make his transformation. "There is a maxim of jurisprudence which says, `If you wish to discover the guilty person, first find out to whom the crime might be useful.' To whom might your disappearance be useful?" This quote makes it apparent to Dantes that it wasn't just a big accident that he went to jail. When Dantes found this out, you could see an immediate change in his character. After Dantes gets the treasure that Faria gave him, he starts to put his plot for revenge into action. The first thing Dantes does after he gets the treasure is to change into the Count of Monte Cristo
My Ideal Room My ideal room should be a medium sized. It would have probably more than one window, to have more natural light. There might be some stylish curtains in front of windows; their color might be something in the middle, not too dark, but also not too light. Walls, which would be covered with wallpaper, would be the same type, as the curtains. I'd probably have hard floor, which would have maybe one carpet on it. All the furniture, I'd have in my room, would be in some kind of a brownish variation, to make the room more natural. But I'd combine the entire furniture whit some hi-tech technology, for example a powerful computer, maybe also a 5.1
What Really Matters, Is Today, Not Tomorrow People say that you have to make plans for tomorrow. You have to think about the future. But I say that there is no time like the present. We always think we have so much time. We postpone our duties, work and responsibilities. But it is such a shame to waste time, because we never now what might happen tomorrow. Secondly, it would be much easier to do these things today not tomorrow. Everybody should live one day at a time. When life gives us a chance to explore something new and exciting and meet interesting people, we should definitely use the oportunity. I think you have to be quite spontaneous to enjoy life. It is important to appreciate the people around us. You have to let them know how much you care about them and how much you need them in you life
Hobbies contribute to one's personal development Most people have hobbies for personal entertainment and interest. There are very many hobbies, some collect stamps, others might take photographs of architectural buildings or just play cards. Everything we do, gives us more experience at something, therefore hobbies contribute to our personal development a lot. The one hobby I will discuss and which is one of my own personal hobbies, is playing Texas Hold'em which is a form of poker. Although some people might just label it as gambling, poker is largely a skill game which has very little to do with luck rather than mathematics, reading
