The aim of the paper is to work out recommendations for alternative methods of facial

For the current paper the author worked with specific literature, magazines and sources from
internet, to carry out a survey and an experiment. During the experiment the author visited
several beauty salons and tested substitute treatments for classical facial treatment, e.g.
microdermabrasion, ultrasound facial, superficial chemical peeling, Elsa Hjeronymus method,
vacuum massage, to identify the performance of the treatments and their effectiveness. In
addition, the author visited 20 different beauty salons to carry out a survey among working
beauticians, giving them a prepared questionnaire. The questions covered the use and
popularity of mechanical treatment and its substitutes among clients and beauticians, their
effectiveness and cost rate.
