Should mercy-killing be punished? It is argued whether mercy-killing should be punished or not. Every human being deserves the right to life, but is it still so when it is not possible to live a normal life? To start with, it is not life when it is not possible to move or even talk. If a person is in coma and court and his family has given the permission, then mercy-killing should be acceptable. On the other hand, we all make mistakes including doctors. When the doctor says that she or he will never wake up it can never be 100% true. In other words, the doctor should pay his price for taking human life. To sum up, in author’s opinion mercy-killing should not be punished. If it is certified by court, his doctor and family then it is legal and maybe it will be a favor for all of them.

This type of killing is legal in some countries, but should it be punished instead? Although, it is still a type of killing, it is for a good cause. Thus, mercy killing is very humane and reasonable thing to do and does not deserve punishment. The negative aspect of euthanasia is that it is still a form of killing. In conclusion, although mercy killing is a form of taking someone’s life, it should not be punishable when it is for greater good.

A story in which the hero will only be slightly embarrassed or inconvenienced if he fails is likely to get the " S o what?" reaction from readers. M a k e sure the stakes are high — life and death, big money, or the hero's very soul. BACKSTORY A N D EXPOSITION
There was such an experiment-actually, a whole series-run by a psychology pro- fessor named Milgram (1974) in which participants in the Teacher role were willing to deliver continued, intense, and dangerous levels of shock to a kicking, screech- ing, pleading Learner. Only one major aspect of the experiment was not genuine. No real shock was delivered; the Learner, who repeatedly cried out in agony for mercy and release, was not a true subject but an actor who only pretended to be shocked. The actual purpose of Milgram's study, then, had nothing to do with the effects of punishment on learning and memory. Rather, it involved an entirely dif- ferent question: When it is their job, how much suffering will ordinary people be willing to inflict on an entirely innocent other person? The answer is most unsettling. Under circumstances mirroring precisely the
