When a world loses a language it loses a unique treasure
And one will be left inside the circle
without a partner. We played it in kindergarten. It was our tradition at every party.
In my family we had a custom before the meal. We all held eachothers hands and we
said: ''Õnnistatud söögiaega ja head isu!''
Also, I don't know if other cultures wish you luck with the work, but usually when
estonians see another man working, they say: '' Jõudu tööle!'' and the worker answers:
''Jõudu tarvis!''
And a lot of lullabies haven't been written down. My mother use to sing to me:
'' Maga-maga, minu väike,
ammu looja läinud päike.
Peagi une võluriiki
viimne päiksekiir sind viib.
Laulavad seal sinilinnud,
õitsevad seal sinililled.
