Long-Term Nursing Clinic, haigla

Long-Term Nursing Clinic There are four departments in Long-Term Nursing Clinic: Departments of Geriatrics, I Long- Term Nursing Department , II Long-Term Nursing Department and Department of Patient without Medical Insurance. The head of Long-Term Nursing Clinic is Jüri Ennet, the head of Long-Term Nursing Centre is Raivo Kolle and the head nurse of Clinic is Silvia Petrova. Offering long-term nursing care in Estonia is becoming increasingly more important due to the aging of the population. Summer holidays are too long

Summer holidays are too long Summer holidays are important. Children need enough time to rest from school hard work. They have to have time to do all the things they like. Children aren't the only ones who need all this, teachers need it too. Children need long holidays. In summer they can go on vacation with their families and visit all the interesting places. Some kids like water parks and amusement parks, some are interested in museums. They can also visit relatives. Every child wants to play and spend time with friends outside of school, also develop their hobbies. If summer holidays were shorter, they wouldn't have time to do all this. School is hard work. Learning new things all day, and after school there is homework to do

Short and long term effects of alcohol

Short and long term effects of alcohol Good morning. My name is NIMI. I'm going to talk about short and long term effects of alcohol consumption. Firstly I'll tell you about short term effects and then move on to long term effects. My presentation will take about 5 minutes. If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask them afterwards. Firstly I would focus on the short term effects of alcohol consumption. The amount and circumstances of alcohol consumption play a large part in determining the extent of intoxication; for instance, consuming alcohol after a heavy meal causes alcohol to absorb more slowly. Hydration also plays a role as for determining the extent of hangovers.

European yew - plant in Estonia

European yew Ursula 11. kl Description It is a small- to medium-sized evergreen tree, growing 1020 metres. The bark is thin, brown, coming off in small flakes aligned with the stem. The leaves are lanceolate, flat, dark green and highly poisonous. The arils are mature 69 months after pollination, and with the seed contained are eaten by thrushes, waxwings and other birds. The aril is not poisonous. The seeds themselves are extremely poisonous and bitter, but are opened and eaten by some bird species Toxicity The bark, stem, needles and seeds of the

sometimes even rib guards History Lacrosse, a relatively popular team sport in the Americas, may have developed as early as AD 1100. By the seventeenth century it was well- established and had been documented by Jesuit priests, although the game has undergone many modifications since that time. In the traditional aboriginal Canadian version, each team consisted of about 100 to 1,000 men on a field that stretched from about 500 meters to 3 kilometers long. These lacrosse games lasted from sunup to sundown for two to three days straight. These games were played as part of ceremonial ritual to give thanks to the master. Field lacrosse There are ten players on each team: three attack, three midfielders, three defenders and a goalie. Each player carries a lacrosse stick. A "short crosse" measures between 40 inches (1.0 m) and 42 inches (1.1 m) long (head and shaft together) and is typically used by attackers or midfielders

When he was 12, after having sung in the chorus of the church, he went to play with other children but, not paying the right attention, he stumbled and got a deep wound in the right knee. What worried the most was that his tendon was about to be cut and doctors stated he would have never jumped like before. Fortunately he could go on practicing long jump and at the age of 13 he jumped 5,51 m. Then in the years after he realized a nice progression in this event: 6,07 m, 6,93 m, 7,26 m and 7,85 m when he was 17. Trainers pointed out him as a young promise. In fact in 1979 he was allowed to enter the national team and to take part to the Pan-American games in San Juan, Portorico. He arrived 1 hour late (because trainers gave him the wrong program of the games) but judges made him jump anyway after Carl's explanation. And it was really a

Understanding Psychology

Summary UNDERSTANDING PSYCHOLOGY Fourth Edition Robert S. Feldman CHAPTER 7. MEMORY p. 218 – 230 KELA-I University of Tartu Narva College 2014 Encoding, Storage, and Retrieval of Memory. Encoding refers to the process by which information is initially recorded in a form usable to memory. Memory specialists speak of storage, the maintenance of material saved in the memory system. If the material is not stored adequately, it can not be recalled later. Memory also depends on one last process: retrieval. In retrieval, material in memory storage is located, brought into awareness, and utilized. In sum, psychologists consider memory as the process by which we encode, store, and retrieve information. Thoughts on Air Pollution Essay

Every day, the average person inhales about 20,000 liters of air. Every time we breathe, we risk inhaling dangerous chemicals that have found their way into the air. Air pollution includes all contaminants found in the atmosphere. These dangerous substances can be either in the form of gases or particles. Air pollution can be found both outdoors and indoors. Pollutants can be trapped inside buildings, causing indoor pollution that lasts for a long time. The sources of air pollution are both natural and human-based. As one might expect, humans have been producing increasing amounts of pollution as time has progressed, and they now account for the majority of pollutants released into the air. Air pollution has been a problem throughout history. Even in Ancient Romepeople complained about smoke put into the atmosphere. The effects of air pollution are diverse and numerous. Air pollution can have serious consequences

My favourite trip: trip through bog

My trip through bog Me, my dad and my cousins traditionally go hiking every summer. Last summer we decided to go through bogs of Lavassaare. As it was going to be a week-long tramp, we considered our equipment carefully. We made list of everything we needed and then crossed out all that wasn't absolutely nesseccery. We couldn't have better timing: it was clear and warm all week long and it was exact time for wild strawberries and blueberries. We enjoyed the nature and especially the bog lakes. We spent six days in bog and travelled 55 kilometers with this time. This may seem as a short distance, but in bog, where your every step sinks and bog lakes lie exacly on your way, it is pretty long.

Sloths have short, flat heads , big eyes , a short snout, long legs and tiny ears , and they also have stubby tails. Sloths move only when necessary and even then very slowly : they can move at a marginally higher speed if they are in immediate danger from a predator (4.5 m or 15 feet per minute), but they burn large amounts of energy doing so. They may eat insects, small lizards, and carrion, but their diet consists mostly of buds, tender shoots, and leaves, mainly of Cecropia trees. It lives about 30 years long.

New Zealand beaches

New Zealand has an exceptionally long coastline compared to the size of the country (over 15,000 km) which makes it almost the same size as the mainland USA's coastline. Even though New Zealand is only about the same size as Colorado, the large coastline is possible because it is extremely iregular and indented. New Zealand's coastline is packed with deep coves, bays, intricate harbours, long sounds, and steep fiords. Its territorial waters stretch from the sub-tropical through to the sub-antarctic. Both islands tend to have better swimming beaches on their eastern coasts and the further north you go. The west coasts of both islands are quite rugged with cliffs and more unsettled weather. There are however some suitable swimming and bathing beaches here, with iron (volcanic) sand beaches (black sand) being common on the North Island.

It grew colder in the Far North. More snow fell in the winter than could melt away in the summer. The snow grew deeper and deeper. It changed to solid ice. As more snow fell, the ice grew thicker. It began to move. Great sheets of moving ice, or glaciers, were formed. The edges of the sheets were pushed outward

As an objective, a producer may seek - to maximize profits or - minimize cost per unit As a constraint the agent may desire - to maximize "efficiency," - market share, - rate of growth or - some other objective constrained by some "acceptable level of profits. In the long run, a private producer will probably find it necessary to produce an output that can be sold for more than it costs to produce. · The costs of production (Total Cost, TC) must be less than the revenues (Total Revenue,TR). Production and Cost Production is a technical relationship between a set of inputs or resources and a set of outputs or goods. · QX = f( inputs [land, labor, capital], technology, . . . )

Estonia summer and winter essee

Estonians have two personalities-a summer one and a winter one Estonia is a country in Eastern Europe. It's a small country beside the Baltic Sea. Our neighbours are Finland, Russia, Latvia and Sweden. Estonia's surface area is 45,227 square kilometres. The population of Estonia is around 1,3 million. We have four seasons in Estonia. The air is very humid and it rains quite often, especially in spring and autumn. We usually have long winters and plenty of snow, but sometimes we haven't even had snow. Summers are mostly warm and beautiful in Estonia. In winter our nation is mostly very passive, becouse it is quite cold in outside, we are like bears who sleep in winter, but we still go to school and work even if we are like so tired and don't wanna go out. Our winter is like too long and people are starting to miss summer, sun, beach and ice cream what you will eat in a hot summerday

Describing People

Describing People Yesterday, as I was walking in the street I met an old friend of mine. This was Marin, who was doing her shopping tour just like me. She looked amazing! Marin is a tall, well-built woman. She has got a long face, green eyes and a long thin nose. She usually wears her gorgeous long dark hair loose. She is dressed casually almost all the time, but still with elegant. Yesterday she was wearing blue jeans and golden belt on her hips. She had knee- high boots and white short coat. She wore her hair loose and had a fabulous white scarf around her neck. Marin is cheerful and smiling almost all the year around. At least it seems like this to others, because she laughs a lot and is a very positive person. Marin likes to socialise and help others in every way that she can

Hamleti esimese monoloogi kokkuvõte

The soliloquy begins with Hamlet wishing that his body would melt, turn into water and become like dew (hommikukaste). He also would like if the God hadn't made a law forbidding suicide. He says that life seems weary, stale, flat and useless to him. He moans as it is terrible. The world was like and unweeded garden that had finally gone to seed but only ugly things thrived. He can't believe what had happened as his father was dead only two months. Not even that long. He says how excellent king his father was compared to the current king, his uncle. His father was like the sun god Hyperion compared to a lecherous satyr (ihar satüür). He believes that his father had been very loving to his mother and he wouldn't have even allowed the gentle breeze of heaven to blow too roughly on her face. Hamlet doesn't want to remember it, so he closes his ears. He remembers how much his mother loved his father but still not even month passed before she got married again
