group whose ancestors migrated from Canada, where many were Americans who had fought with the British and settled there after the American Revolutionary War; the British West Indies, and various parts of West Africa. Their offspring (born in the Freetown colony) came to be known as Creoles or its similar Krio. Some of these Creoles or Krios were of mixed ancestry.Similarly, the United States established a colony for freed slaves in what became Liberia. Descendants of African-American immigrants were often called Creoles. Many of the African-American immigrants and their descendants were of mixed ancestry.Creoles from these two nations emigrated to other African countries, such as Equatorial Guinea, where they were known as Krios; or Nigeria, where they were known as Saros. Some scholars report that a new wave of Krio immigrant descendants of freed slaves of Sierra Leone and Liberia are known as Fernandinos (see Fernando Po)

The reason for this is not clear, but it might relate to the fact that the Americans' memories were usually more emotional and Chinese students' memories were more routinely. Cole and Scribner investigated memory strategies in different cultures. They compared recall on series of words from among the US and Liberian children in different age groups. The differences in recall were among the schooled and non- schooled children, not the age. Children who had attended school in Liberia learned the lists of words just as rapidly as children in the US. The researchers took in consideration the cultural differences, thus developing lists of world relevant in that culture. When they analyzed the data, they found that illiterate children did not use strategies like chunking and that non-schooled children did not improve significantly in memorizing when they were older, but they did recall better if the words were presented in a narrative way, as a progressing story

behaviour. Instead they found that their behaviour, in most cases, was more tyrannical than their Caucasian predecessors. But the elite’s excesses would not be allowed to go on forever unchallenged; unfortunately, the challenge came from the wrong quarters – the military. One by one, African governments were taken over by military men of questionable character – immoral and illiterates such as Idi Amin of Uganda , Emperor Bokassa of the Central African Republic, Sergent Doe of Liberia, Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, Sani Abacha of Nigeria. Jammeh of the Gambia is the latest in a line of idiots who seize the ballot box in a corrupt election to declare themselves democratically elected. Today, there are about 2.5 million Africans in the Untied States of America. The majority are the elites who fled and the new elites who are planning to return to an extravagant life of abundance. Hence, the African immigrant group has been declared by the U.S
Kohus asutati 2002. a, esimesed 18 kohtunikku valiti kolmeks, kuueks ja üheksaks aastaks 2003. a. Iga kolme aasta tagant uuendatakse üks kolmandik kohtu koosseisust. Kohus on sõltumatu institutsioon, mille koostööd Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooniga reguleerib spetsiaalne kokkulepe. Kohtus on olnud arutusel sõjakuriteod endises Jugoslaavias, kohtu all oli endine Serbia president Slobodan Milosević, kes hiljuti suri. Praegu menetletakse või arutatakse kohtus mitmes Aafrika riigis (Liberia, Kongo Demokraatlik Vabariik, Uganda, Sudaani Darfuri provints jt) toimunud kuritegusid. Eestis uurib inimsusevastaseid kuritegusid, sõjakuritegusid ja genotsiidi kaitsepolitsei. Kohtu alla on seni antud ja süüdi mõistetud mõned nn mõrvar-agendid, kohtuistungeid on peetud ka küüditamistes osalenute üle. Menetlused enne Teist maailmasõda esimese Nõukogude okupatsiooni ajal toime pandud
exactly matched one of her pebbles, which she could then cast into the sea. All three resigned. Yardley's appropriation had been severely cut in 1924, and half the staff had to be let go, reducing the force to about a dozen. Despite this, Yardley said, the Black Chamber managed to solve, from 1917 to 1929, more than 45,000 telegrams, involving the codes of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, England, France, Germany, Japan, Liberia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, San Salvador, Santo Domingo (later the Dominican Republic) the Soviet Union, and Spain and made preliminary analyses of many other codes, including those of the Vatican. Suddenly it all ended. Yardley, who had been obtaining the code telegrams of foreign governments through the cooperation of the presidents of the Western Union Telegraph Company and the Postal Telegraph Company, was encountering increasing resistance from them.
