Leona Lewis"Bleeding Love"and Lenny Kravitz"American woman"
has no other option but to "bleed love" for a loved one.
,,American Woman" is originally written by a Canadian band The Guess Who but was
differently interprated by Lenny Kravitz in 1999. Some say the ,,American Woman" refers to
a Statue of Liberty or has something to do with anti-war movements in 1970's but the actual
meaning of this particular song is still unknown.
To sum up, these two artist represent various styles of music. Leonas music is more
emotional, having an edgy side to it, while Lennys music is more of a ,,retro" style. How does
the music of both of them impact us?
I believe Leona makes us think more about love and future but Lenny makes us think about
the past because of the scent of retro in his music.
