Should mercy-killing be punished? It is argued whether mercy-killing should be punished or not. Every human being deserves the right to life, but is it still so when it is not possible to live a normal life? To start with, it is not life when it is not possible to move or even talk. If a person is in coma and court and his family has given the permission, then mercy-killing should be acceptable. On the other hand, we all make mistakes including doctors. When the doctor says that she or he will never wake up it can never be 100% true. In other words, the doctor should pay his price for taking human life. To sum up, in author’s opinion mercy-killing should not be punished. If it is certified by court, his doctor and family then it is legal and maybe it will be a favor for all of them.
Should mercy killing be punished? Mercy killing, also known as euthanasia, refers to the practice of intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering. This type of killing is legal in some countries, but should it be punished instead? Although, it is still a type of killing, it is for a good cause. There are people who suffer and want to rather die than to endure agonies, euthanasia is an answer for them. Thus, mercy killing is very humane and reasonable thing to do and does not deserve punishment. The negative aspect of euthanasia is that it is still a form of killing. One should not be in judge over others life, even when it is for a good cause. The fact that euthanasia could be misused is not less important. In conclusion, although mercy killing is a form of taking someone’s life, it should not be punishable when it is for greater good. Is the purpose of law to protect property?
Should Mercy-killing Be Punished? In spite of the fact that human life is very precious and every life should be saved when it is possible, there is also known mercy-killing, the act of killing someone who is suffering painlessly. It is argued, when mercy-killing should and when it should not be punished. On the one hand, mercy-killing should be punished when it is carried out by people who do not have a license for euthanasia. Not everyone is capable of deciding over someone's life. For example, even doctors do not always know if a patient is really dying. On the other hand, mercy-killing should not be punished when it has a permission of a court. This way all aspects would be taken under advisement by many people, considering the advisory opinion.

Mercy kill as a way out Mercy killing has always been a controversial topic, some believe that practicing it should be punished because it could lead to bad consequences but others think a person should never be punished just for helping. Mercy killing should not be punished. People with terminal illness usually experience a lot suffering and when they have a choice whether to live in pain and be a burden to their family and hospital or die in peace, many usually prefer the second choice. Some prefer to die with dignity and if mercy killing would be punished they simply would have the freedom of choose. On the other hand mercy killing should be punished. If mercy killing becomes something usual younger people might start thinking life has
INTRODUCTION Let's play a quick game of catchphrase - guess the word. My phrase is two words, and describes a person. Charles Manson. Ted Bundy. Jack the Ripper. Serial killer - serial meaning "arranged in a straight line or succession" (1) and killer meaning "one who kills, or any agent used to neutralize the active property of anything." We tend to have a morbid interest in people who commit murder. Today, I'd like to explain what distinguishes serial killing from mass murders, how long serial killing has been around, and highlight some of the psychological traits common to serial killers. BODY I. Serial killing vs mass murders Now at a glance serial killing and mass murder seems basically the same: one person kills many other people. The distinction between the two is notable: mass murder happens when one person murders multiple people at one specific place and one specific time

Capital Punishment Should (not) Be Abolished Capital punishment or the death penalty is the killing of the person as the punishment for offence. To get the capital punishment, you need to do a very serious crime, like homicide, or even more serious than that. The pros of a capital punishment are that if the person gets that punishment, he or she will never get a chance to do something that cruel again. Sometimes the criminals, who get a prison sentence, do something illegal again, after that punishment. Second pro is that it's cheaper for the country to kill the person,
Teacher: O'Mahony V.PG 11A 09.03.2009 This written essay here is talking about my thoughts and facts of life, what is around us. First I thought that why is always easier to create something but to destroy is much harder. Exactly there have been so many wars in history. Everybody wanted to own a lot of countries and others had to fight for their created country. Also they started to teach young people to kill and protect their country with killing enemies. Also government tried to keep a low profile, if there were some wars in state. These are my thoughts of creating and keeping something. In the old times were many wars. Some states predominated over other weaker countries or states. Weaker countries had created their own and loved country and they wanted to live like that for a long time. But also stronger countries wanted to broaden their boards and become bigger than other strong states

protection. She is a successful mother because she knows how to take care of her cubs. The male tiger doesn't help her to raise the cubs. Male tigers also don't like being followed and they fight for their territory in order to mate several females. In fact male tigers are a huge danger to young cubs and one of their main enemies. Females also fight for territory but they do it so as to have more food. Mother tiger can track her cubs by scent. She gives her offspring killing lessons in a form of games because playing is a crucial part of survival. Cubs also grow fast and they need regular food. Raising cubs is very demanding. There is also a tiger police in this National Park. The aim of this police is to protect tigers from poachers. Locals respect tigers and they see them as the guardians of the forest. Female tiger's cubs grow fast and they are old enough to eat meat. At the moment it is not a
for example people can now communicate with each other much faster. It is great, although it can also harm people. Technology is serious responsibility- if people do not use an invention carefully, then it would end up the wrong way. The word „Leisure“ meaning changes in every 10 to 20 years. 50 years ago spare time was usually considered as that part of a day when people took a nap or children played with each other. Nowadays technological tools are killing off leisure time, especially for younger workers and students, who are working longer hours, taking fewer and shorter vacations but still bringing their cell phones and laptops along. Constantly in health magazines are headlines like „Too much stress“ or „Stress is killing people“. It is like that because the boundaries between work and play are blurred. Computing and communications technologies are destroying the idea of privacy and leisure.
Lebel and the Jackal The Jackal was an assassin, signed to murder president of France, Charles de Gaulle. Using fake identities and killing many people, he fails his mission. Claude Lebel was a professional detective, who was hired to catch the Jackal and prevent him from killing de Gaulle, after many failed attempts, he succeeds. The Jackal was known in the book under many names, such as Alexander Duggan, Per Jensen, Marty Schulberg, Andre Martin and Charles Calthrop. That shows that he was indeed a very clever man, he saw everything coming and thought ahead. He was very assured and he knew, what he was doing, he had it all figured out on his mind. He was, as a human, actually quite nice to some

Secondly, I think those people who have sometihng agains those relgions, do not know about them and their nature, what those religons belive in. People should be tolerate because religion is everyone's own choice. One thing that causes issues are abortions. Some religions do not accept it because for them it is killing a human. Other parts of the world tolerate it because for them it is not killing but and I think it sometimes is justified. If you are young and you are alone in the world, you do not have money to raise a baby then abortion is right thing for you and most for the baby. Also when woman who have some disease make abortion it has to be tolerated. There are also many other small and not so small things we have to tolerate every day.
Most of the information about drone attacks is coming from dubious Pakistan media, which we cannot seriously rely on. Hence, we cannot be sure if the persons killed by drones were innocent civilians or extremists. (Fair, 2013) One the one hand, using drones can be more discriminate, because they hover over the enemy for hours and wait for the perfect moment to attack, when there are no innocent people who might get injured. (Beautmont, 2012) On the other hand, it means that after watching and killing their targets, they continue hovering over villages, which affects people’s psychology. (Owen, 2013) New York Times journalist David Rohde, who was kidnapped by the Taliban, said that: “The buzz of a distant propeller is a constant reminder of imminent death.” (Owen, 2013) Because of the drone-induced anxieties, most kids in Waziristan no longer attend school. Tänu Vestigentoriuse abile tõestatakse, et ta ei ole süüdlane ja vabastatakse süüst. age; it is incongruous and incompatible with our present standard of civilization and humanity. It has been abolished by many states and countries, and we must look forward to the day when all the governments will follow this. It's a murder. The first question that comes to mind is, is it ethically acceptable to kill someone? When you execute a person, what is the difference between you and the criminal who has committed the crime of killing another individual. Furthermore, capital punishment can be inappropriate and unjust. It's not necessary. There is always a solution to the problem, instead of putting people to death sentence we could simply put them behind bars as he or she may improve himself. For instance, persons who have served life sentences have most of the time change their attitudes and their behaviors and have also made worthwhile contribution to the society.

Capital punishment Capital punishment is the killing of a person by judicial process as a punishment for an great offence. It has been used in almost every part of the globe. There is an international organisation called Amnesty International who are fighting for human rights. Thanks for them there are many countries who abolished it. But is it right or should capital punishment exist? Firstly I belive capital punishment should exist because if you gonna take somebody's life it is only fair when you pay for this with your own life. Many people are thinking how cruel it is for a criminal but we should also think of the families that are broken apart because of the merciless acts of these criminals. Secondly it is too expensive to hold prisoners who have lifelong punishment. Especially it affects countries who are financially disadvantaged. It is not fair that taxpayers have to maintain the murders. Thirdly death penalty scares potent...
For and against capital punishment Capital punishment as death penalty is the killing of a person by judical process for retribution and incapacitation. And it has advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage of capital punishment is that it permanently removes the worst criminals from society and should prove much safer for the rest of us. It is self- evident that dead criminals cannot commit any further crimes, either within prison or after escaping or being released from it. Another advantage of capital punishment is that country can have minor costs in

Over 40 tonnes of the deadly methyl isocyanate (MIC) leaked from the Union Carbide Corporation Plant, toxifying and killing thousands of people. This study was aimed at determining the causes of this disaster and also the effect it had on people and the environment. A thorough analysis was done on several scientific works and articles. A lengthy documentary was also included in the analysis. The analyses established that a metal plate was missing from between two pipes in the Union Carbide Corporation in which water managed to reach the MIC tank. The
of British watercolour landscape painting. He is commonly known as "the painter of light". Painting: The subject of the painting is the practice of 18th century slave traders who would throw the dead and dying human 'cargo' overboard during the middle passage in the Atlantic Ocean. Turner was inspired by two sources: by the Zong Massacre of slaves and by lines from James Thomson's The Seasons (The Zong Massacre was the name given to the mass-killing of African slaves that took place in 1781 on the Zong). The violent power of the sea and the strange sea creatures represent the forces of nature punishing the guilty. The painting was widely admired for its use of colour and the way in which sea and sky merge around the distant ship. In the lower portion of the painting, hands of enslaved Africans can be seen still shackled(aheldatud). Turner makes a particularly effective contrast between distant and near views in The Slave Ship
In the first chapter the boys are very young and they messed up everything. As the story develops, brothers have grown into big mans. They are having troubles with enforcer and his oxen. But brothers settled the problem and enforcer is no longer angry at brothers. The book contains lots of metaphors, which make the novel more vivid. There aren't any illustrations on pages, but on the cover there are beautiful illustrations how the brothers are killing bear. In my opinion, the novel is very educative. On the one hand, brothers were hard-working and good people. But on the other hand, they did some bad things and disturbed other villager`s peaceful life. I liked the book and I give seven points in ten points system. Absolutely I recommend this book from other people, just read it and you see, how enthralling it is.
mentally retarded people and juvenile delinquents. In this case, capital punishment looks like senseless cruelty. A number of states had already passed legislation adopted by the Supreme Court in June 2002 prohibiting such executions to this group of people. As for juvenile delinquents, we should admit their lack of maturity thus they may be less culpable than adults who commit crimes. Ultimately, the death penalty is an utter denial of human rights. It implies that killing is acceptable under certain circumstances. Relatively few developed countries in the world impose the death penalty. Japan and South Korea are the only established democracies in the world, other than the US, which still conduct executions. The execution rate in Japan is a small fraction of that in the US. So it is high time the US society kept track with other civilized countries which value individual life

When you think about the world's longest manmade structures, China and Great Britain (Stonehenge) spring to mind. Very rarely does the Australian continent get a mention, which is a shame, because the Dog Fence, or Dingo Fence, is the longest structures on earth. The Dingo Fence is a barrier that was built in Australia during the 1880s and finished in 1885.This fence was built only on one purpose: to stop dingoes (Australia’s wild dogs) from killing sheep. It is one of the longest structures on the planet, and the world's longest fence. it’s 3,307 miles long. That makes about 5,320 km. That is about two and a half times longer than the Great Wall of China. The fence starts near the coast of Great Australian Bight and ends up in the eastern part of Queensland in the Bunya Mountains, not far from the Pacific Ocean. At the time, it was the longest man-made structure in the world. It was only partly
Moreover, families too choose to have a pet in their lives for many reasons, for instance having their baby feel a lot more confident with animals. Historians don't know for sure when humans started keeping pets. Dogs were one of the first animals domesticated by humans and have been domesticated for some 10,000 years. According to ancient Egyptian law, taking the life of a greyhound warranted the same punishment as killing a man. As early as 3500 B.C., Egyptians were domesticating wildcats from Africa. They considered cats to be godesses pets. That ranked them above humans, making them the first to be saved if a house caught fire, before the people. As I see it, having a pet at home is a good thing to do. Nevertheless, often having a pet means having a lot of tasks because you have to take care of them very well. Thus, you will wake up in the early morning

For and against capital punishment If one commits a murder or more, robbes a bank in addition or does something more terrible than human kind could possibly put up, then one is sentenced to death. But everyone can put up a legal murder of a convict. Do people agree with killing a killer, which is nothing more than a publik murder itself? Death penalty is justified if one causes pain for many people. Pain is a strong feeling, something you will never forget if experienced. Haunting nightmeres from the depths from the worst memories will probably never leave from victims dreams. In that case a capital punishment is and should be the right thing to do, to make the others feel safe again. Death of a culprit may decrease the pain, but will never make it go away
When her baby dies Tess decides to escape her homevillage. She starts working in a farm as a milkmaid. There she meets her love of the life Angel Clare. Next mistake she makes is when she does not tell to Angel about Alec and the baby. She does not tell anything because her mother asks not do. This leads to Angel leaving Tess after they had just married. So, I think that this was again her mother's fault. All these three misadventures lead to the ultimate mistake that Tess does killing Alec D'Urberville. She kills him because Alec has pushed her so far with the pregnancy and picking on Tess because of Angel. Tess was just a naive young woman who did not know anything about real life. Below are listed some organizations, their goals and views on hunting. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is largest and most known animal rights organization in the world. They mostly concentrate their attention on factory farms, clothing trade, animal testing and entertainment industry. When going to PETA webpage first thing to see was pop up window about stopping seal hunt in Canada. They are especially concerned about killing animals because they are considered pests. Such animals would be beavers, bats, geese, deer, pigeons, mice, raccoons, snakes, chipmunks, squirrels, bears, coyotes, ducks, foxes, mountain lions, prairie dogs, rabbits, and even wolves. So their view on hunting is negative. [9] Animal Aid is animal rights organization in United Kingdom, founded in 1977. They do campaigns against all forms of cruelty against animals. This dust can become so thick that it blocks out the sun, killing off all life on the planet. But, for a counterweight to the meteors, humans are nearing completion of a worldwide tactical nuclear missile strike system, able to easily destroy any incoming meteoroids. Though this will also destroy our atmosphere and we really don't need that but that doesn't make the fact disappear that we have the system. In the end we are, every day, still at the mercy of nature and her disasters. We can only hope
