First of all, the courses that should be combined need to be challenging to the students. It would be wise to assimilate math, physics and chemistry because these classes are very similar. For instance, in order to complete a physics equation you need to know math, the same applies to chemistry. If these courses would be integrated pupils would make sense of the connection between the theoretical understanding of scientific studies and their practical functionality. Morset kasutatakse tänapäevalgi ning enamjaolt raadioamatööride seas. Enne seda loengut ma ei teadnud raadioamaörismist mitte midagi. Väiksena mäletan vanu televiisoreid, millede sees olid suured ümmargused kobakad. Televiisoreid nägin tänu naabrimehele, kes televiisoreid parandas. Erialatutvustuse loengus sain teada, et nendeks asjadeks on teleskoobid. It is the reason why we need new and better business models, like LC and BIM, or even an integration of the two models. Both LC and BIM have been shown to have a profound impact on improving construction processes and therefore, project outcomes, as discussed in the third and the fourth chapters. Different studies and practical experience show that a combination of these originally independent approaches can ensure even better processes. Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), which is discussed in the fifth chapter, is an example of this. In conclusion, a recommendation supported by research is made for improving the Estonian construction industrys performance. I really liked the example of Microsoft reinventing integrated office tools. When I think about it in today’s context, it seems very logical – a lot of companies do that.
