£1,184,000.

70,000 tons of concrete were sunk into the
riverbed to support the construction.
Over 11,000 tons of steel provided the
framework for the towers and walkways.
Tower Bridge is also simply
one of the most unique
venues in London for
weddings, private and
corporate events.
The lifting of Tower Bridge has become a must
see event for visitors to London.
Six people were injured on May 2009, when a
lift in Tower Bridge, central London, fell 3m .
