Two holidays in the UK

In the UK are many holidays, some are weird, some aren't. I describe two holidays, which I think are quite interesting. Bank holidays are public holidays in the United Kingdom, when banks and many other businesses are closed for the day. One bank holiday is Stiltion Cheese Rolling. Cheese Rolling has become an annual event in Stilton and every May Day hundreds of villagers and visitors make their way to the main street to watch the teams battling for the honour of being called the 'Stilton Cheese Rolling Champions'. The event is also Stilton village festival, and includes Maypole dancing, live music and other entertainment. There are side-shows, fairground rides, stalls, food and drink, and a concert in the evening. The Floral Dance always takes place on the 8th of May, except when that falls on a Sunday or Monday, when the Dance is held on the previous Saturday.

Milne's work came to the attention of the leading British humour magazine Punch, where Milne was to become a contributor and later an assistant editor. Milne joined the British Army in World War I and served as an officer in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and later, after a debilitating illness, the Royal Corps of Signals. After the war, he wrote a denunciation of war titled Peace with Honour (1934). During World War II, Milne was one of the most prominent critics of English writer P. G. Wodehouse. Milne accused Wodehouse of committing an act of near treason by cooperating with his country's enemy. He married Dorothy "Daphne" de Sélincourt in 1913, and their only son, Christopher Robin Milne, was born in 1920. In 1925, A. A. Thatś what friends are for

That what friends are for Friend is a person who accepts you for who you are and not because what you have, a person who corrects you when you are wrong and shares with you your good moments, as well the bad ones. That's what friendship means. The purpose of my article is to describe my friendship. To begin with, friendship is not made overnight, it took years for us to become friends. We had known each other for over four years but then we did not socialize with each other. We started to interact more after fifth grade. Now we have been friends for seven years. Secondly, the best words to describe my friend are helpful, confident, cautious, patient, tolerant all the qualities that a friend should have. He listen me if I have complicated situations and supports me in every way when it is necessary. Lastly, I am glad that I have a friend in my life. We are not only friends at school but we see each other when we have free time. Then we j...

feeling everything as naturally as if they had been born around that time. The humour mostly gentle, sometimes cruel, described and criticised perfectly every aspect of the complicated society, the naïve King and the women who had secret love affairs. It is clear that the actors gave their best while filming the movie and got the result they may be proud of. As for more, the story itself is catching. The main character, the poor playwright Moliere has the honour of writing a comedy about his tragic life and lost yet true love, and his feelings, so similar to those of the viewers, reach everybody through the detailed story. It can be said that the new, 2007 "Moliere" was composed by a genuine author with the same principles of life as of the 17 th century Moliere. To sum up, it can be said without hesitation that the movie included great work from the actors, the main role played by Romain Duris, and wonderful work from the

blame for an accident for which they were responsible. For example, one man received a payout of £238,000 in compensation from his local council after that he had broken his ankle in a pot hole. I mean how much more stupid can the justice systems get, unbelievable. In conclusion, I think that the world has gone completely mad with those compensations. I would put it on the conscience of the greedy lawyers who wisely get the money out of the courts and bigger percentage to themselves. Honour to them but that still doesn't make it right. Or maybe the laws aren't so perfect after all. But there isn't any clear solutions to it. Maybe to develop a new kind of legal system, desirably the perfect one. Therefore I would leave you with one statement: "There has always been, there is and always will be holes in the constitutional laws."

Tartu vaatamisväärsused - Toy museum, angel/devil bridge

Parrot, and a dedication text, was placed on the bridge's Toome Hill face (sculptor C. v. Wetter-Rosenthal). Toome Hill ´s larger bridge is the yellow and white, classical style. The name is thought to come from a linguistic twist - part of the hill is landscaped likean English garden and the words "English"(inglise) and Angel(ingel) are nearly the same in Estonian. Local tradition says that when crossing it, you should hold your breath and make a wish! The Devil's Bridge was built in 1913 in honour of the 300th jubilee of tsarist Russia's Romanov Dynasty, which is memorialized on the bridge by the dates 1613-1913. The bridge is dedicated to Emperor Alexander I, who signed the founding treaty for the tsarist university - the second official opening of Tartu University, and whose embossed relief decorates the bridge side facing Vallikraavi Street. Like the Angels´s bridge, its name might also come from a a play of words - it was

He even questioned the morality of eating animals when it was not necessary for health. These statements from his notebook have led to the widely held view that he was a vegetarian. He was very interested in the possibility of human flight. He produced many studies of the flight of birds and plans for several flying machines. Davinciite, a recently found mineral recognised in 2011 by the International Mineralogical Association, is named in honour of the artist. Leonardo da Vinci imagined and sketched the first parachute in the 15 th century. He didn´t invent the clock, but he did design a more accurate one, which had two separate mechanisms: one for minutes and one for hours. Leonardo da Vinci is also believed to be the inventor of scuba gear. Many of his inventions didn´t became well-known until the famous Codex Atlanticus (which is a twelve-volume, bound set of drawings and writings (in Italian language) by Leonardo da Vinci).

What was the relationship between Mr. Wickham and Mr. Darcy (what kind of common past did they share)? Both had grown up in the same area and under the protection of grand old Mr.Darcy, who had raised two boys equally as his sons. Two childhood friends parted immediately after old Mr.Darcy's death in arguings over money, power and honour (which one Wicham- had less in tons). · Mr. Darcy seemed to be an utterly arrogant, cold- and careless-natured man to strangers.
