Adam Gontier is the lead singer, guitarist, and the main songwriter of
Groundswell, what was later renamed and is now known as Three
Days Grace. Adam is well known to have a voice range from high
tenor to medium low bass.
Adam Gontier was born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada in May 21
1978 into music loving family. Adam's mother was the one, who got
him interested in music and taught him to play the guitar.
In 2005, Adam went to a rehabilitation centre, where many of the
songs for their second album 'One-X' were written. Their first album
