There is something distinctive about every generation Most of the people in general are all the same. Their values, thoughts, realtions and things like that. But every generation has some differences in them, every generation has something distinctive. Having about four generations living together is something very important, but in these days we tend to forget that. Every generation has something to teach the others, all of them have different experiences, conceptions and ways they like to solve problems. For example the ways people acted fifty years ago may not fit into today's world, but then there are the grandchildren's generation that can show and teach elderly how it is acceptable to do something. And then there are older generations that can remind youngers why it is important to

What are the advatanges and disadvantages of using Facebook? Today in our world is the Internet very popular way to spend time. One of the people favorite site is clearly Facebook. Only the fact that Facebook has over 845 million active users is sign that it is part of our generation. In all of the good things are advantanges and disadvantages, so does Facebook. Facebook in our lifes is very natural. We use it every day, but we do not think how it affects our lifes. It plays very big role in our communication. Some of the advantages are that you can contact with people in every time and you are always informed about latest news and activities. It is easy and takes only few seconds
Discuss the representation of the generation of fathers in Turgenev's novel "Fathers and Sons" Turgenev always had two tasks before him to depict the body and pressure of time, and to depict the rapidly changing face of cultured Russian society (Freeborn 1960:48). Kluchevsky (1993:40) defined one case of the generation gap in the beginning of the XIX century as "merry cosmopolitan sentimentality of the fathers now transformed in a patriotic grief of their children. The Fathers were Russians, who passionately wanted to become French; the sons were raised as French and passionately wanted to become Russians. Fathers and Sons situates this generational conflict within family relations. In this essay, the ways how Turgenev represents the generation of Fathers in Fathers and Sons is discussed.

There is a proverb "Knowledge in youth is wisdom in age" . People usually assosiate wisdom with older people. Young people don't often feel their voice is being heard. They feel they have lot to give but peole just don't want to give them an opportunity. They might and certanly are seeing things in other perspective than older people do. Older generations are not used with upgrades in and new features in society and thats why they are all saying that the youth is in .... But younger generation have more advanced and newer information with them. Nowadays the young know much more than the older did at the same age. They have innovative ideas, they are very active and fully commited into their doings and projects. If they take something up, they are will finish it. The next generation are not here just to receive knowldege and information, they are here to be heard and involved in decision making processes. It clearly reflects in workmarket

Traditions What is tradition? From a scientific point of view a tradition is a ritual, belief or object passed down within a society, still maintained in the present, with origins in the past. I think it is easier to say that a tradition is a way of doing things that is handed down from generation to generation in a family, club, nation, any group. Why are traditions important? They bring you closer together. They are a trigger, a reason to get together, they bring back happy memories. Without traditions life would not be as fulfilled. Traditions are the glue that binds one generation to another. They give every member something to look forward to in our sometimes chaotic lives. They remind us to slow down and remember the things and people that are most important.
k0848752 Sustainability aspects of biofuels 1. Introduction The literature review will discuss the sustainability aspects of biofuels. Food production will be the main concern as it is the most debated issue, but other aspects, such as land use change and water consumption will be also considered as they are essential aspects in the biofuels sustainability criteria. The review will discuss the viability of biofuels based on the current technologies. Second-generation biofuels are not yet commercially viable and therefore will not be discussed; although they could significantly improve the sustainability of biofuels when they break through to the industrial scale. 2. The scale of biofuels production 2.1. Drivers of biofuels production Lal (2010) stated that "three inter-connected challenges face humankind in the 21st century": food security, climate change, and energy security. and carrots. But healthy lifestyle contains more than that. Ofcourse it is very important to eat well, but in the same time it is essential to do diffrent kind of exercises and have basic knowledges about your body. Our grandmothers and grandfathers often complain, that we eat wrong sort of food, like hamburgers and french fries. But I think, it isn`t true. Yes, we eat hamburgers, but not every day. Me myself couldn`t eat a hamburger every day, I will get enough. It seems to me that younger generation appreciate a good work out more than ever more. We like to relax by doing exercises and fitting our body. It gives a lot of energy. In my opinion we are going to be a very healthy generation. Mari Saar.
Let's face it you're a robot! Technology to millennials is different from what any other generation has seen it as. We don't like to list microwaves, radiators or anything like that as a part of it. The world of technology has grown so fat these couple of year that we don't consider a regrigirator to be more than a basic need. Even radios and televisions are starting to fall into that category of regular appliances every household has to have. Generation Y has a whole new list of technology which nowadays includes a phone, a computer, gaming consoles, a televison, and basically anything you can control without ever having to get up or even leave our rooms. When's the last time someone asked you about something neither of you knew about and you didn't take your phone out to 'google' it? Now think about how many times you've tried to figure out the answer yourself. Sure, both ways may have plenty of attempts but which has
Moreover, our economy has been developed, so peoples are living well and due to that they are allowed to spend money for shopping. Needless to say, that young people often get too much money from their parents and wasting it at the mall. Lastly, nowadays many young people don't know about other activities beside internet and shopping. Contrary to the popular belief, it is know that there are much more interesting activities for youths what must be encouraged by the older generation. For example sport games like football what takes skill and practice. Also it is much healthier than shopping because of physical moving. All things considered it can be said that shopping has become a favourite past time among some young people. It is hoped that our generation will find more past time opportunities what are more useful.
Britain is more famous for pop music than it is for classical composers or jazz musicians. Names such as The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Elton John, George Michael and The Spice Girls are known world wide but little do people know of our other musicians not in the pop world. The origins of music in Britain lie in the songs sung and dance music played by ordinary people. Passed from village to village and handed down in the unwritten form from generation to generation. Different trends Over the last thirty or so years British pop music has led the world in its range and quality, starting several new trends. Britain, along with the US, was the main contributor in the development of rock and roll, and Britain has provided some of the most famous bands, including The Beatles and many others. Britain was at the forefront of punk music (see below) in the 1970s with bands such as
The name itself refers to the exact reason we are special our mental capability. What does ability to think give us and how does it affect out world? Human is a social being and cannot live without expressing himself. In order to communicate clearly we have developed a vast system of symbols languages. There are over 6000 different languages in the world and each language comes with a different culture. Because of our ability to remember, humans are able to transmit information from generation to generation. Humans know their history, because we remember what we have created. Our world-view is more than what is seen to the eye. Homo sapiens is a developing species. Our body has changed and so has our mind. We understand concepts like time (past, present, future), religion, philosophy and moral behaviour. A human is curious, asks questions and finds answers. Unlike animals, we are conscious of our inner thoughts, desires and sensations and have the ability not to follow our instincts

Hello My name is JOHN SMITH and I am here to talk about Hydroelectricity. Global energy use has risen by 70% since 1971 and continues to increase at the rate of 2% per year. There are many scenarios for future demand. One solution would be to use more hydropower. In 2005, renewable energy represented one-fifth of total power generation. Hydropower is the most advanced of the renewable and represents 87% of this production. 160 countries all over the world are using hydropower. Five countries make up more than half of the world's hydropower production. Those countries are: Brazil,Canada, China, Russia and the USA. (Production) *Most of the energy comes from the potential energy of dammed water driving a water turbine and generator

of the earliest human civilizations. Archeology delivers traces of dance from prehistoric times. One of the earliest structured uses of dances may have been in the performance and in the telling of myths. It was also sometimes used to show feelings for one of the opposite gender. It is also linked to the origin of "love making." Before the production of written languages, dance was one of the methods of passing these stories down from generation to generation. Although dance is often accompanied by music, it can also be presented independently or provide its own accompaniment (tap dance). Dance presented with music may or may not be performed in time to the music depending on the style of dance. Dance performed without music is said to be danced to its own rhythm. There are very many kind of dancing styles such as: Jig, Waltz, Tango, Disco, Salsa, Electronica and Hip-Hop etc. Nowadays the dancing is very popular to spend leisure time

I think that Larkin means that the troops are going to be brought home from Vietnam. At the end of almost every line in the first stanza is /And it is all right./ In his ironical way he is trying to say that the Vietnam War was pointless, because it did not bring any results. Another poem about the Vietnam War is ´´High Windows.´´ The poem was written is the 1960s during the sexual revolution. Partly due to that there were conflicts between the younger generation and an older, different generation. He says that older people are stuck in boundaries and that they have dreamed all their life. And now he can be free and does not have to hide what he thinks about the priest. With this poem he means that he can now be free and does not have to think what the society is thinking about him because the society is changing. He does not have to pretend of being religious or repress his desires. In ´´Annus Mirablis´´ he is writing how the freedom of sexual intercourse came in 1963

With each generation of materials and with the improvements in aerodynamics, the performance of hang gliders has increased. With good weather, a pilot is able to soar for hours. The measure of performance is the glide ratio for example a ratio of 12:1 means that a glider can travel forward 12 meters while only losing 1 meter of altitude. Average glide ratio is 17:1 20:1 and average speed is 45-55 km/h. Early forms of gliding had existed in China perhaps by the 4th century AD.
languages will be extinct by the end of the century. A language dies in every 2 weeks. So what will be lost when a language dies? Much of human knowledge hasn't been written down and it lives in people's memories. In fact, there are even laguages that haven't been written down. In the olden days people use to tell stories. They didn't write them down, just told or sang them to others, who passed them on the same way and so they spread from generation to generation. Now if a language dies, the folklore dies with it. So we will also lose our ancestors knowledge, in what they believed in, what they valued. We will lose the myths and legends, how the world or a certain place was made. In fairytales people learn about virtues, how to make a difference between right and wrong. If that was lost, where will kids learn their values then? From society? Where there are liars, thiefs, frauds, hypocrisists, violent and selfish people? Or from cartoons, where a

The apparatus of social hierarchy is amazingly complete. It is manifest in the Court with its great expense and elaborate display; the country house with its ancient associations and dependent village; the segregation of a group of schools (ironically called ,,public" schools) to provide each new generation with the manners and habits of ruling class; the clubs and social life of London; the columns of ,,Society" gossip in the newspapers and the differences of clothing and accent by which members of the ,,classes" can instantly recognise one another. start doing it in schools too, they are going to be blind soon, because it affects your eyes. People should really think about their future more. I understand if you are doing some schoolworks on the computer, but definitely not all of those. If you read lots of books, it developes you reading speed and it will be useful if you can read fast and if it sounds nice. Also if you are on the computer all the time, you can't write soon, too. And then the next generation in Estonia is going to be like Africa, that people can't read or write. So we should still use paper books, it's cheaper and much more useful.

Also i would invite more exchange students into our schools and send our children more often to learn in foreign countrys. The last thing I would change is the amount of the final exams. I would change all school exams into national exams. I hope that the new generation make necessary changes and my children get more modern and complete education.

THE EFFECT OF ELECTRONIC MEDIA ON YOUNG PEOPLE Nowadays it is not a secret, that electronic media can be really harmful for developing human brain. But only some people know, how exactly TV, computer or radio influences younger generation. How to recognize whether the program is appropriate or not? The answer is pacing. If you see, that certain TV program is slow-paced and has the narrative form, then you should know that it can help to develop the long-term memory. But if the program is frenetically-paced, then it usually contains a violence that can inhibit the development of young people and also make children act impulsively and inappropriately.

The electronic Population and Housing Census will take place during the first month of the Census and 2/3 of the people questioned are planning to use the opportunity to answer the questionnaires electronically. Most of them are people under the age of 54, as the majority of people from 54- 77 expect a visit from the enumerator. This demonstrates that the older generation doesn't feel as comfortable using a computer. In conclusion, people's awareness of the Census is high and the results of it are very anticipated.

Different enterprises and various funds have financed large investments to address enviromental problems. The main object of environmental protection is to provide everybody wtih a healthy environment and natural reources without causing damage to nature. The other goal of protection is to preserve biodiversity. Estonian National Enviromental Strategy has made many principles to protect environment. The first one means that we have to think not only about ourselves, but also about future generation, because they want to live in clean enviroment. The second principle means that nature is common welth and concern of the population. Next principle means that every country has to take part is solving global and regional environmental problems. Another principle means that everybody has to cooparate to solv problems within their sphere of influence. The fifth principle means that everybody must be awarned of enviromental development and problems and solving them.
