The Victoria Tower is the most striking property of Charles Barry's design for the New Palace of Westminster. At the time when tower was in built, it was the highest secular building in the world. Nowadays the Big Ben is more famous than The Palace of Westminister. When a light at the top of the tower is on, then you can know that Parliament is sitting at night. The oldest part of the palace is called Westminister Hall. Westminister Hall was used for many purposes, like for judical functions and for ceremonial functions. Nowadays Westminister Hall is use for sitting three times a week. The Palace has many rules and traditions over the centuries. For example smoking has not been allowed since 2005. Hats must not be worn and members are not allowed to have their hands in their pockets. No animals may enter the Palace of Westminster, only guide dogs for the blind people and horses from the Royal stables.

Smart cities Nowadays more than half of all people in the world live in urban areas. By mid century this will increase about 20 per cent. For successful operations people need smart cities. The smart city functions like the human body. Smart cities make cities more liveable, efficient, sustainable and safe. Smart cities are built around users. It leverage technology to serve people. Smart cities start with an information network designed to optimize resources and thereby promote sound, sustainable development. It has been expected that in 2025 there are at least 88 smart cities. But does that necessarily mean that women are not suitable for such responsible, effort and leadership demanding jobs? I do not think so. First of all, I would like to say that this tradition is coming not only from history, but from evolution. In nature, masculine representatives of most species are stronger, more agile and aggressive than feminine representatives, because their biological function is to be the main breadwinners and defenders of their families, while females' main functions are to distribute that bread within the family, raise, feed and look after the progeny. Of course there are exceptions like lions (lionesses do hunting which ensures food for their families), seahorses (males bear the eggs) and some others, but in general law of nature is such. Please explain why? Functionalism and conflict theory are very different views of society, but they are not exactly opposites. Both have arguments, that make people think about the society they live in and both have theorists who critize each other. In my opinion, none of the theories are completely wrong but I do tend to agree with people on the conflict theory side. Firstly, functionalism ignores inequality and focuses too much on the positive functions in society. For example racism, functionalists will say that it must be imporant in order to exist as long as it has but in my opinion that sounds quite doubtful. The most problematic part about racism is above all the tension and conflict which comes with it. Seems to me, that functionalists ignore the negative sides which society has on people. Secondly, I agree that society will always be in conflict because of fighting for limited resources and their rights
