TV violence Nowadays, television is the mainstream medium, which influences significantly the public opinion and, furthermore, it has the power to influence the formation of an individual’s identity. In such a situation, television violence has a particularly significant and dangerous impact on the viewers, especially youth, whose identity, moral values and beliefs are in the process of formation. Young people often perceive celebrities they see on TV and imaginary characters they see in movies as models for their own behavior. Children usually want to be soldiers or gangsters. As a result, they attempt to follow their lead, which often leads to the development of negative models of behavior. Also, some people think that fighting scenes, explosions, shooting scenes and other violent elements of movies are so awesome

is a more general term for members of suffrage movements, whether radical or conservative, male or female. Women's suffragists in the United Kingdom was a national movement that began in 1872. Women were prohibited from voting in the United Kingdom until the 1832 Reform Act and the 1835 Municipal Corporations Act. Both before and after 1832, establishing women's suffrage on some level was a political topic, although it would not be until 1872 that it would become a national movement with the formation of the National Society for Women's Suffrage and later the more influential National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies (NUWSS). Little victory was achieved in this constitutional campaign in its earlier years up to around 1905. It was at this point that the militant campaign began with the formation of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU). The WSPU was quite radical in their behaviour, as they wanted to get the right to vote as quickly as possible

ARE FACEBOOK USERS MORE OR LESS LONELY? Nowadays, teenagers have become addicted to numerous social networks and cannot live a day without getting online. This, of course, influences the formation of their individuality. Every one of Facebook users develops certain feelings while using the website. The two most related qualities are self-esteem and loneliness. I think Facebook is not a real problem for problem , its just for fun or to make new friends or to keep in touch with your friends/relatives who live far away from you. I agree that in some cases people get addicted to facebook , I was once too. I used to stay all day in facebook . but now I don’t , I hardly ever use it

If wind strikes over the surface of an open water, waves are induced. First they are very flat with only a low level of energy. When there is a long distance over the water on which wind can attack the small ones, they became bigger and bigger with a lot of energy inside them. Physics of wave energy To have a better understanding of the technical possibilities to harvest the energy out of waves to convert it into electric energy it may be helpful to have a look onto the physics of wave formation, the forces which attack and the characteristics of water waves. Wave formation There are three different momentum responsible for the formation of waves. The moon, earthquakes and wind in variable intensities. Energy of waves vs. period and responsible momentum 2 Three forces to attack the waves There are three forces that are responsible for wave formation. Two of them (gravitational force and Coriolis force) are supporting the formation, one of them

The Baltic Sea causes differences between the climate of coastal and inland areas. The average annual temperature in Estonia is 5 °C. The average temperature in February, the coldest month of the year, is -5.2 °C. The average temperature in July, which is considered the warmest month of the year, is 18 °C. The climate is also influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, the North- Atlantic Stream and the Icelandic Minimum, which is an area known for the formation of cyclones and where the average air pressure is lower than in neighbouring areas. gospel, jazz even Nigerian Juju -a style of dance music. So it included many different musicstyles and because of that it likes many different humangroups. Rhythm and Blues was started in the South, but later moved to Midwest, Northeast, and West Coast cities due to the shift in American demographics, after World War II. One of two significant developments, which occurred that had an effect on R&B was the invention of the Magnetic Tape, the other was the formation of broadcasting companies. Over the decades, thanks to different artists and their styles, R&B has evolved into what it is today. My favourite R&B aritsts are Kelly Rowland, LeToya, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Mario and Usher. The reason why I choosed this genre is that , when i hear this kind of music i feel that my mood gets better, it's melody is seductive and I forget all bad thingsin my mind .

Tallinn: Situated in the north of the country, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, Tallinn is the capital of Estonia and also the largest city in the country. It occupies an area of 159.2 km2 (61.5 sq mi) with a population of 411,196. During different periods, the city has been known under several different names. In 1154 a town called Qlwn or Qalaven (possible derivations of Kalevan or Kolyvan) was put on the world map of the Almoravid by cartographer Muhammad al-Idrisi who described it as a small town like a large castle among the towns of Astlanda. It has been suggested that the Quwri in Astlanda may have denoted the predecessor town of today's Tallinn. The earliest name Kolyvan may be derived from the mythical Estonian hero Kalev. Up to the 13th century the Scandinavians and Henry of Livonia in his chronicle called the town Lindanisa: Lyndanisse in Danish, Lindanäs in Swedish, also mentioned as Ledenets in Old East Slavic. Metallic protective coatings Pour ~3 cm3 of solution of sulphuric acid into each of two test tubes and add two drops of proving solution for Fe2+ to each (K3[Fe(CN)6]). Place a piece of zinc-plated iron sheet into one of the test tubes, and a piece of tin-plated iron sheet into another. Observe the formation of blue colour around the edges of one of the metal sheets (which one?). Blue colours occurs around the edges of zinc covered ferrum. This colour indicates that iron is corroding (Fe2+ ions are produced) in the corresponding system. What is the anode and what is the cathode in each of these cases? some conversations and lots of quotes in Internet contain "J.D.Salinder" in the end of it, therefore I was really excited when we decided to read this book as a part of our English lesson course. It was very good way for English skills practice and also self- liberalizing. I think many teenagers would be able to relate the book to the actual themes - it's a modern classic of today. Every teeneager has had once felt himself sort of depressed and upset. It is absolutely normal state for identity formation. We mature, we become adults, we revise our values and are feeling really unusual sometimes. Lots of times I have caught myself thinking that I'd already felt something like this before... Lots of moments in this book were really similar to some periods of my life and many relatives seemed very similar to characters of this book. "The Catcher in the Rye" certainly wouldn't be everyone's "cup of tea book", however

the naturalist Francis Willoughby's `Book of Sports' around 1660. In this work, Willughby described the game of `football', identifying the pitch, two ends with gates known as `goals', basic positioning (notably that some of each team's best players were left to `guard the goal') and the objective as scoring the first goal. Even some details were included, such as avoiding high tackles (referred to as `striking'). That said, it would be almost exactly two centuries until the formation of the modern game took place. The decisive moment was October 26th 1863 when, following a meeting by all the clubs in existence in England at the Freemason's Tavern in London's Great Queen Street, the Football Association was founded. Five subsequent meetings over the next two months saw the drawing up of the code, predominantly informed by the recently published Cambridge Rules but excluding regulations on running with the ball `properly' and the acceptance of `hacking'.

82). In order for experiences to be educational, they must extend into an expanding world of subject matter consisting of facts, information, and ideas. The educator must view teaching and learning as a continuous process of reconstructing experience. This occurs only when the educator can look to the future with the perspective of viewing each present experience as a moving force that influences future experiences (Dewey, 1938, p. 87). The challenges for the educator are in the formation of ideas, putting those ideas into action, observing the conditions that result, and in organizing facts and ideas for future use (Dewey, p. 88).

Revolution in the United States and the German Empire presented an increasing challenge to Britain's role as leader of the global economy. The flag of the United Kingdom is the Union Flag (also referred to as the Union Jack). It was first created in 1606 by the superimposition of the Flag of England on the Flag of Scotland and updated in 1801 with the addition of Saint Patrick's Flag. Wales is not represented in the Union Flag as Wales had been conquered and annexed to England prior to the formation of the United Kingdom; the possibility of redesigning the Union Flag to include representation of Wales has not been completely ruled out.[436] The national anthem of the United Kingdom is "God Save the King", with "King" replaced with "Queen" in the lyrics whenever the monarch is a woman. Britannia is a national personification of the United Kingdom, originating from Roman Britain. Britannia is symbolised as a young woman with brown or golden hair wearing a Corinthian helmet and white robes

Compounds may be based on reduplication (nt, hush-hush, murmur). Ironic words (nt, pretty-pretty), ablaut combinations  two parts with same consonant sounds but different vowels (nt, chit-chat  foolish talking). There is also rhyming combinations (hoity-toity) 10. Conversion is a non affixal formation of words. (zero derivation) . Conversion is using a word of one part of speech as a word of some other part of speech. Words with complex structure are not converted as a rule. (nt, butcher, to butch; sculptor, to sculpt, television, to televise). Rarely some other parts of speech are found (nt, nasty, to nast) Alphabetisms, initialisms, acronyms words made up of the initial letters (nt, USA, WC) Clippings, fore clippings, back clippings, ambiclippings Clipping is the word formation
· The model of the polypeptide encoded by SNARE6 seems to have two stretches of - helical coils, separated by a small turn and the two coils fold onto each other as a hairpin. · This is analogous to SNAREs called SNAPs (SNAP-25, SNAP-29, SNAP-47) which are referred to as the Qbc SNAREs, as they contain two SNARE domains (both Qb & Qc) in a single polypeptide chain and they fold upon each other during SNARE complex formation. · Therefore, during SNARE assembly, this single protein contributes two SNARE domains out of the four required SNARE domains and two other proteins (Qa from Syntaxins and R from Brevins/Longins) contribute the other two domains. · 4. Discussion · In the present study we identified 35 SNARE genes from wheat genome using homology searches. · It is expected that wheat, having large genome size (16.94 Gb), might contain many more SNARE genes.

Rhea, saiga, Mongolian gerbil, Prairie dog, bison, coyote, 13. What cultivated plants are grown in temperate grassland? Perennial ryegrass and White Clover 14. How are gullies (gully – uhtorg) formed and how do they restrict human activity? (vt. õpik lk 62) A gully is a landform created by running water, eroding sharply into soil, typically on a hillside. Gullies resemble large ditches or small valleys, but are metres to tens of metres in depth and width. When the gully formation is in process, the water flow rate can be substantial, which causes the significant deep cutting action into soil. 15. What environmental problems occur in temperate grassland? Few natural temperate grassland regions remain because most have been turned into farms or grazing land. This is because they are flat, covered with grass and have a rich soil. Overgrazing, ploughing, and excess salts left behind by irrigation waters harm temperate grasslands
· First glucose or glycogen must be converted to Glucose 6-phosphate.  Glucose to glucose 6-phosphate costs 1 ATP · Glycolysis produces pyruvic acid, without oxygen pyruvic acid is converted to lactic acid. · Net gain 3 moles of ATP (glucose = 2 ATP) Anaerobic Glycolysis · Reserve fuel activated when a person accelerates during race, during the last 200 m of a mile run, or performs a 400 m run or 100 m swim. Lactic Acid/Lactate Formation · During very high intensity exercise high rate of glycolysis H+ released faster than they can be removed by NADH (ETC) increased lactic acid production. · The above due to both lack of O 2 and the recruitment of fast twitch fibres. · Lactic acid lactate diffuses into blood for buffering and rapid removal. Lactic Acid as an Energy Source · Lactic acid allows high rates of ATP production for short duration (2-3 minutes). · As exercise intensity slows or during

spoke an Indigenous language at home. Spirituality Most Indigenous belief systems centre on the `Dreaming' or `Dreamtime' to explain life and the origin of the world. In the Dreaming, ancestral beings created features of the land, sea and sky, as well as humans, animals and plants. The Dreaming describes the actions and travels of these beings, some of whom were themselves transformed into features of the landscape, like the Three Sisters rock formation in the Blue Mountains. These beliefs have governed every aspect of Indigenous peoples' lives and relationships with the land. They are the subject of traditional stories, music and artwork across the continent. Art, culture and music Australian Indigenous art is one of the oldest continuous art traditions in the world. The earliest Indigenous art forms were paintings and engravings on boulders, rock shelters and cave walls, some of which date back 30 000 years
It destroyed many houses and churches including St Paul's, and the Royal Exchange. However, the Fire meant that the City could be improved. The streets were widened and the houses were built of stronger materials. Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt 53 of the destroyed churches. Soon the rich people lived in the West End and the workers suffered in terrible poverty in the East End. The first horse-drawn omnibus was imported from Paris in 1829 and the same year witnessed the formation of the Metropolitan Police. 3 The first railway ran from London to Greenwich. During the long reign of Queen Victoria London took on, for the most part, its present appearance. In attempt to solve the serious traffic problems the construction of the Underground began. In 1895 rower bridge was opened. In 1939 WW II broke out and many children were moved out the city. Unfortunately many of them had returned when the Blitz began in 1940
"anarchies are necessarily `self-help' systems" in which states have to struggle for their security and survival due to the absence of a security-providing central order as well as a lack of collective security guarantees; a condition which gives rise to the "inherently competitive dynamic of security dilemma and collective action problem." In answering so, therefore, Wendt contends, neorealist and neoliberal scholars of international relations ignore "questions of identity- and interest-formation."Wedndt's argument: [S]elf-help and power politics do not follow either logically or causally from anarchy and that if today we find ourselves in a self-help world, this is due to process, not structure. There is no "logic" of anarchy apart from the practices that create and instantiate one structure of identities and interests rather than another; structure has no existence or causal powers apart from process. Self-help and power politics are institutions, not essential features of anarchy
