Children's education in England is managed by 3
different departments: eng+wales, scotland, n-ireland. Schools are rather independent from state. Education is managed
by three separate departments: England& Wales, Scotland & Ireland. Nursery school; Primary School(5-11), Secondary
School(11-16) ends with GCSE´s. Sixth Form (16-18) (ends with A-levels) or vocational school. Universities are even
more independent, although they are finanved by state. Compulsory from ages 5 to 16.
