Legs and feet pointed in a particular direction: the direction where more interest is felt. Crossed arms: indicates submissiveness. Facial expressions A facial expression results from one or more motions or positions of the muscles of the face. These movements convey the emotional state of the individual to observers. Facial expressions are a form of nonverbal communication. They are a primary means of conveying social information among humans, but also occur in most other mammals and some other animal species. Stereotype is a fixed idea or image that many people have of a prticular type of person or thing, but which is not true in reality. The word comes from printing (describes the printing plate used to produce the same image over and over again). Culture shock: is precipitated (caused) by the anxiety that results from losing all our familiar signs and symbols of our social intercourse. Symptoms: Excessive washing of the hands.

Altough, at the beginning years of Hollywood, the movies were actually silent and blackand white in color. That meant that the actors had to have extreamly good facial expressions and gesticulating.
