Surviving exams Taking an exam or test is something everyone has experienced in one form or another at some point in life. Everyone gets stressed during exams but it is important not to let it get out of control. The suggestions below may help you cope with the stress and revise for examinations successfully. Exams are a must. Are they necessary? Recently, exams are made quite often and also to early, even in primary schools. People think they are the best way to test intelligence. But is it so? I think no, they aren't best way to test intelligent. Because the majority of students are very nervous during exams and they can't focus and making mistakes. There also will not be enough time. Russian. Our children should do more practical exercises in school and develop creative thinking. In addition to that I would give more money to our schools and raise also teatchers salary. None of them worked hard I guess, they just walk in school from door to door and they think that they can just achieve theirs purposes like that. They need some experiences and things which can give them something to learn. In the future, they can't just celebrate and walk on air every day. They have to face difficulties and learn that somethimes there are hard times in everyone's life. Having done the exams and they're celebrating and being proud of themselves. There must me some equality of treatment, equal oppurtunities and some respect for last years' students. Dear Paul I was sorry to hear about your problem. The exams are very important and difficult but I think I can help you. The first thing you have to do is tell your parents. They can help you get back on track with your studies. It's easier if you share your problems with others. Remember, a trouble shared is a trouble halved. You won't have to lie to them anymore and they will encourage you so you won't be so worried about the exams. When you have told your parents about your results you really should stop worrying so much. This is your main problem. The more you say to yourself you can't do it the less are youre chances of passing. Even geniuses can't get a good score if they worriy so much. Estonian law requires all children to be in full-time education from age of seven. In Estonia the National Curriculum is compulsory for all schools. The academic year begin on the first of September and is divided into four terms. So pupils have four holidays: a week in October, two weeks at Christmas, a week in March and three months in summer. I am stubborn at times. But to my mind being persistent is not always a bad thing. It means my aim, I never leave things half done. At times I feel dissatisfied with myself, especially when I fail to do something or can't do things the way they should be done. At the same time I think I am hard working and diligent. My greatest problem at school was talking in front of the class. I always blushed and went red.
