Should countries encourage tourism? Tourism has become a popular global leisure activity. It is the fastest growing industry in this world. But it can be negative as well. So should countries encourage tourism? Tourism has many advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that countries have more money so they can improve its infrastructure which is a benefit for the local people. For example, roads and communication links built. Tourism provides indirect employment in terms of workers who help to produce goods and services in the economy to meet the increasing demands of the population and the tourists. Tourists also take with them, souvenirs which can be produced by people.
Should children be encouraged to do sports? The majority of parents do not know how to make their children understand the importance of exercising, especially because of the amout of technology no child will rather go out and play football than sitting at home and watching TV or playing video games. Should we encourage children to do sports? Firstly, doing sports is important for our health and if children do not do sports it may cause health conditions when they get older for example overweight. Choosing an exercise should be appropriated to the child's age and development. A good thing to do is to take the child for a walk, swimming pool or even to play a video game Wii. Secondly, sports makes children more active and playful, which develops their minds. Sports

This helps you realise that the person reading your letter is a real human being with feelings, trying to do their job to the best of their abilities. Your letter should encourage them to respond positively and helpfully to the complaint. No matter how mad you feel, aggression and confrontation does not encourage a helpful reaction to complaints. Good complaints letters with the above features tend to produce better outcomes: - Concise letters can be understood quickly. - Authoritative letters - letters that are well written and professionally presented - have more credibility and are taken more seriously.
There is also a significant horticultural industry producing a variety of vegetables, orchard and soft fruits, and bulbs and flowers. The high productivity of the arable sector has been achieved by the removal of hedgerows to create larger fields, by mechanization, and by the intensive use of fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides. As with the issue of animal treatment, these trends in arable agriculture have provoked public concern. Combined, these concerns have helped encourage the rapid growth of vegetarianism in Britain since the early 1980s and the expansion of organic farming, although this is still on a very small scale. However, partly in reaction to these concerns, and partly because of costs, the trend is now towards lower chemical use in farming. Agricultural policy includes schemes to encourage farmers to take land out of agricultural production to adopt more environmentally kind, but less productive methods of farming to

are been praised too much. Are we given the skills to work at a goal instead of expecting to complete it easily because we are told we are "smart"? Are we set up for failure by being told how smart we are, when in all actuality maybe we are right where we should be: in the middle? I have a feeling that the way we praise and are been praised is going to change; not that teachers and parents are going to be overly critical of their children and students, but that the way they encourage their kids will be more equal to others. We should be inspired to work harder for knowledge not for grades. B.K 11c
School uniform's pros and cons School uniforms are verry popular nowadays, mostly in private schools. But would school uniforms make our lives better? There is no doubt that school uniforms have many advantages. Firstly, they encourage discipline. It would also free children from the pressure to buy trendy clothes. All the childrens would be dressed in the same way and as a result it would cut out a school bullying, which is often used, because some children do not have money to buy expensive and fashionable clothes and they are bullied because of that. Children would not have to think about what to wear in the morning and parents save time taking children shopping and spending extra money

A chinese family can only have one child and if they go above the limit they have to pay a fine even though richer families don't care much for that. So even though there's a very big fine about 90´000 families have gone over the limit and are under investigation. If we would all think globally instead of just ourselves or our country, we could keep the population growth under control. Countries who only think of rising their population percentage in the world listings do encourage families in having more children, but if instead of being a patriot of your country, why not be a patriot of the World?
Cover Letter Dear Geoffrey Walker, After working as an office manager in RRT Ltd. For the past four years, I find that I can be a suitable candidate for your available position of office manager, which was advertised in CTEL web site. According to the advertisment, your position requires me to manage up to 30 staff, operate under stress, to be resourceful, sociable, well-organized, love to have my own office. Also I must be competent in French. To encourage that I am competent in all of these fields, I can show you that I have a Lancaster University Diploma in French, a Degree in Management Studies from Manchester University and I have been managing 35 staff for the past four years. Of course I consider myself as calm person who loves working under pressure and who has everything under control all the time. CTEL Communications is a fast growing company and I really would have something to offer
Dear Paul I was sorry to hear about your problem. The exams are very important and difficult but I think I can help you. The first thing you have to do is tell your parents. They can help you get back on track with your studies. It's easier if you share your problems with others. Remember, a trouble shared is a trouble halved. You won't have to lie to them anymore and they will encourage you so you won't be so worried about the exams. When you have told your parents about your results you really should stop worrying so much. This is your main problem. The more you say to yourself you can't do it the less are youre chances of passing. Even geniuses can't get a good score if they worriy so much. If I were you I would go into the nature and relax for a while. Rest for some time and when you feel ready and calm you should start revising. Figure out
police when I hear offenders in my own neighborhood. My insistence at having them enforce current regulations in my area has made a difference. I am also reviewing our local noise ordinance and speaking with others who are interested in putting an end to this offensive behavior that takes away from our quality of life. When the boom box noise has been controlled in this area, I would be pleased to begin using your store again. I encourage you to work with the local police department to greatly strengthen enforcement of our noise ordinances. You are losing business because of the contant presence of boom cars. Yours truly, Kelli Sepp

"People these days are thinking less and drinking more'' Nowadays, alcoholism is rising and this is a big problem not only amongst teenagers but also amongst adults. When there is a problem or a difficult situation people do not think how can they solve it. They think, "Where is my bottle of vodka?'' There are several possible solutions to this problem. What clearly needs to be done is to encourage people to handle their problems without using alcohol. Firstly, we have to teach them that thinking clearly is more effective than thinking with an alcohol bottle. Secondly, we should tell them that they have got supportive friends whom they can rely on. Another suggestion is that the media should not promote drinking. Commercials are very effective with teenagers because commercials are very colourful and memorable. Also, when

the series of civil wars referred to as the Wars of the Three Kingdoms in that it was intended as an army liable for service anywhere in the country (including in Scotland and Ireland), rather than being tied to a single area or garrison. Its soldiers became full-time professionals, rather than part-time militia. This was to encourage their separation from the political or religious factions among the Parliamentarians. partly from among veteran soldiers who already had deeply-held Puritan religious convictions, and partly from conscripts who brought with them many commonly-held beliefs

Tolerance is the ability to be fair and understanding to people whose ways and opinions are different from one's own. It seems like a good and challenging streak to have, but the question is, how far we can go with it. I would say not very far. More and more media and public encourage us to be tolerant to homosexuals and their lifestyle and many countries have actually made their marriages legal and tolerate them. Also, there have been numerous discussions on whether they should have the right to have, adopt and raise children. To me, it is absolutely unacceptable because this is not normal. They could have good facilities for bringing up children and lots of love to give them, but in my eyes it just is not suitable for a child.
It used to take a long journey and a fascinating victory to be recognized as a hero but nowadays it has become much easier. We give the title "hero" away much faster and there is actually no surprise to that- there aren't really any monsters left to fight or people to fight them. For example we share the title every evening on TV news (TV3 Eestimaa uhkus) to people who have done a good act. It has both-cons and pluses. The pluses are that showing people their deeds should encourage others to help out in case possible but in the other hand giving away the title too easily ruins its meaning. If all you need is one act of goodness to be a hero, then why bother yourself any more? I think giving away the title on everyday news has decreased the number of possible real heroes who would go to war in case needed or risk their own life for someone's else's etc. I feel like the real heroes have died out and the only ones we are left are fictional.

I agree that while typing we simply type whatever comes to mind and completely. This creates less don't think through our ideas effective points and poorer results. A main problem I notice when I write essays on my laptop, is all of the distractions that come along with using the computer. I have music and internet at my fingertips and this can dramatically change the quality of writing. With the ability to distract yourself with entertainment it is far too easy to ignore your assignment and encourage writers block. The screen also is tiring to look at and gives me a headache after a while. There are benefits of writing on the computer with word processing software. The writing process is much faster than hand writing. Making corrections and editing your essay is much easier on the computer. While writing Microsoft Word automatically corrects minor spelling errors and capitalizes words for you. This helps me immensely. When I type I hardly ever stop to capitalize and without spell check I

We don't know how our mind works. We only know its thoughts by what comes out of it in a form of a speech. We express ourselves through a language. We must cherish and keep our languages, pass it on to our children. Also, we need to document endangered languages and encourage them to write them down and pass it on. Because, if we don't, we will lose a unique treasure.

such a good internet connection as it is in Estonia; it is one thing I use absolutely every day. I read e-mail, newspapers; use bank services and so on. I find it being impossible to not mention the voting opportunity through the internet in fact 140 00 voters (24, 3% of actual voters) used online voting when the election of 2011 took place. This is impressive. For an entrepreneur it is also a very best place to start, we have skilled and hardworking workforce, Estonia actually encourage entrepreneurship skills and it only takes 20 minutes to get your company registered legally. One of the parks, Central Park, was designed by Frederic Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. Its 340 hectares contain half a million tees, several lakes, a rollerskating rink, a theatre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and much more. There are beaches in many parts of New York. One of the most popular is Coney Island Beach in Brooklyn. Visitors there can swim in the sea, enjoy the amusement park, eat hot dogs and visit the New York Aquarium, which contains about 10 000 fish. The New York authorities encourage learning for people of all ages and run thousands of schools and collages. The city also provides private education. American children must complete 12 years of education. In New York City this lasts from the ages of 6 to 17. Children begin at elementary school, move on to middle school and finish at high school, where most gain a diploma. New York offers a variety of high schools for pupils who want to specialize from their teenage years, for example the School of the Performing Arts.
Monthly pricing should be adjusted to the current data on visitor tendencies the lower the amount of visitors, the lower the price. Introduce loyalty programs for corporations, offer bargains for conferences. Encourage conventions invest in some equipment that would put this very hotel at a competitive advantage. Market the hotel as a convention venue. Seek contacts and relationship establishment with the business world; advertise in business print issues (when the data was gathered there has been no web ones). As summer is evidently the slowest season and the season of mass corporate drowsing, the hotel could appeal to tour operators and even airlines for affiliate cooperation.
Thanks to recycling banks homeless people will get better clothes, also food and everything what they need. Also environment is not polluting so much of any things. It is clear that it has taken lot of resources. I must change people ways of thinking. They think it does not change anything and one person can change nothing. But if 10 000 stop this way of thinking and will start campaign, they can help many people. All uses of recycled paper should be clearly labelled to encourage others to follow the example. It could be argued that recycled pare should be labelled. People can see that giving and using recycled paper is popular and those who haven't started using yet will start later. People see that it is important to environment and also them. Thank to recycle paper they can save the money and natural resources are not so used and extend longer. This is partly true, but nowadays rich people proportion goes bigger and they don't use recycled paper
students, the students in Estonia are often unable to learn Chinese as fast as the overseas students in China. The lecturer believes that the reason why the overseas students in China learn faster than students in Estonia is the immersion to the language environment outside school, where they hear and must use Chinese daily. While the language environment in Estonia is lacking in the possibilities for students to learn Chinese, universities could encourage the learning and increase the motivation of students by organising more events and activities where the students have a possibility to use the language. The language teachers have also more responsibilities in China than in Estonia. In China they are required to organize various activities such as language practice lessons during weekends which are optional for students. The consulting hours when the lecturers are required to

many graduates in some specialities but there can’t never be too much critically thinking people. Thats exactly what I have learned so far in university – I feel I am smarter citizen now and belong to a society which I comprehend better than after high school. It all comes down to this: university are one huge step in young people life and it should not focus so much only on producing experts on various professions but rather helping students to find their way and encourage them to be independent and self aware. It is fact that university diploma is not the same in the 21th century that it was in for example in 18th century. Main difference is that nowadays it is available for more people. Therefore expectations for university graduates are changed. I think question posed in title should be changed a bit. College graduates should ask themselves what they expect not what 1 country or society expects them
make a change. To introduce myself, i would use one word-determined. I am 19 years old girl from Estonia and i live in two cities at the same time. During my school time i live in Tartu and when i want to charge my batteries i take a trip to smaller city and my hometown called Rakvere. Itmight be little, but it has it´s own way to fancy people. For example our city is known for a running event-,,Night run" where for 2 years i have been a volunteer to encourage and help people who have come together to Rakvere for one goal-to run a distance and share good emotions. I have attended primary school in a school what is near to Rakvere, in an english KALLAK class. I furthered my studies at Rakvere Vocational school for the next 2 years. That is also the start of my cookery studies what i continued in Tartu Vocational Education Centre. For now, i have finished my high school studies, but my cookery qualification studies are still going on.
Students often come across the phrases "recycle" or "reduction of pollution", but not always is the background nor the causes explained thoroughly. Students cannot develop their environmental disposition without effective, meaningful teaching, that outdoor education provides. Teachers can and should give students deeper knowledge about natural resources and how exactly their deficiency will affect them personally. Direct contact is the best way to learn. Outdoor education is necessary to encourage students to become good stewards and to think globally but act locally regarding the environment and environmental issues. Also, outdoor education is not only important to raise environmentally responsible citizens, but to have positive impact on student's development. Several studies are claiming that students who participate in outdoor education have rising trends in self-esteem, linguistic skills, motivation, concentration and better understanding of the concept
