Gothic story
There was a noise she couldn't identify coming from the garden and then
some footsteps and a weak knock on the door.
For a second Ella couldn't decide whether she was dreaming or not and if she should react to
the knock. She then, very slowly got up and went to the door. She saw nothing from the
peephole- it was too dark outside. Ella decided to open the door very slowly. Her heart
skipped a beat as she saw a bloody hand fall in from the gap. Now she noticed a black figure
lying on her doormat.
Ella fainted again. This time the last thing she heard was the unknown figure moaning the
words "Karma".
The next time Ella woke up she was in a hospital. As a result of a concussion she didn't know
where she was and couldn't remember her own name. She never got her memory back and
she had become a whole new person. Whenever she was left alone she started screaming
dauntingly, crying and rocking herself back and forth. No one could ever tell what had
happened to her.
