10 päeva päevik

Travel to Riga on 26 October I woke up 15minutes later than my father. My eyes were still closed and I couldn't open them before I got a cup of hot coffee. At 8 o'clock we started driving to Riga.We also had GPS in our car, so it wasn't so boring, because it had some voice commands on and it was interesting to watch the route we were driving on. The weather was cloudy .In Pärnu one of turbosensors broke down.So we had a little lack of enginepower and it was pretty hard to past some cars with nonturbo diesel. At 1pm we arrived to Riga and drove to our relatives, who were living there.Everyone was happy to see me, my father and my granny once again in a long time. After 6 hours of communicating with all our relatives there, we started driving back home.It took 3,5 sleepy hours before I was at home.26.October was a very exhausting day....

Estonians use the weather as a neutral talk subject. People start complaining about the weather if it has been like that for a long time. 10) The British weather has made the British easily adaptable, more reserved and a bit tired. Trip to Hungary

I went to Hungary in last summer. I came in Hungary with my family. We were there 8days. I packed my suitcase and made a list of things to take. Also I looked for information about the place. These were my preparations for the trip. I remember about the trip that we travelled by ship in the Danube and we swam in thermal bath. I was sunbathing too, but very few because the weather was quite cloudy . I did a lot of pictures. I want to show them to you, when you come visit me. The souvenirs I bought were two or three necklaces and bracelet. For my granny I bought a wine from wine plantation and a marzipan figure from the marzipan museum. I don't remember all the sights I saw in Hungary anymore, but the interesting places were Hungary are old bastions, castle and also thermal baths in Budabest....

Estonia topic

18ºC; in winter, 4...5ºC. Estonian weather offers many surprises. Temperatures may fluctuate by 20º C; in the early morning the thermometer might read 12ºC and by afternoon it may already be 10ºC. Although it doesn't always snow in winter, there tends to be about 10 cm of snow on the ground consistently from late December through to the beginning of March. The sky over Estonia is cloudy for about half the year, and the hilly southeast region experiences up to 750 mm of precipitation due to Estonia's maritime climate. Nature While seven thousand rivers and streams carry rainwater to the sea, bogs and wooded swamplands of different types cover over one fifth of the country -- a world index topped only by the northern neighbour, Finland. Various kinds of forests comprise slightly under half of Estonia's territory. Wetlands, together with primeval forests, represent...

Energeetika arengu plaanimine

Source: World Energy Assessment 2001[53] Why Don't We Use More Renewable Energy? In the past, renewable energy has generally been more expensive to use than fossil fuels. Plus, renewable resources are often located remote areas and it is expensive to build powerlines to the cities where they are needed. The use of renewable sources is also limited by the fact that they are not always available (for example, cloudy days reduce solar energy, calm days mean no wind blows to drive wind turbines, droughts reduce water availability to produce hydroelectricity). The production and use of renewable fuels has grown more quickly in recent years due to higher prices for oil and natural gas, and a number of State and Federal Government incentives, including the Energy Policy Acts of 2002 and 2005. The use of renewable fuels is expected to continue to grow...

A New Beginning

But then he remembered about the other rider, but when he turned the Devil`s Field was empty. His companion was gone as well the horses. The man was seriously scared now, but since he was one of the Royal Solders fear was not allowed to be shown in public. So he drew his half-iron, half-silver sword and decided to go back to the field, but then he thought: "Alec told me to run...It means I mustn`t return to That place anymore...What should I do?" Suddenly the cloudy autumn sky turned red and the rider heard some wild animal roaring. This was unacceptable to his brave lionheart and he ran off to the forest not looking back even once. He wandered pointlessly many hours thinking of his friend whom was taken away by some mysterios beast. "Maybe the Devil really exists?" he whispered anxiously to the trees, but they didn`t give him an answer, they only swayed in the chilly wind....
