Tesco was established in 1924. The main quarters are
located in Cheshunt, which is near to London, UK. Tesco`s
chairman is John Gardiner. Tesco`s business activities are
wide, it provides superstores and hypermarkets, personal
finance, E-commerce and internet. Main markets are
located in Europe such as UK, Ireland, Czech Republic,
France, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Tesco is also found
in South-Korea and Thailand, plans for Malaysia and
Taiwan. TESCO sales in 1999 were impressive 18,5bn
pounds.
