CD review A CD I recently listened was A rush of blood to the head by a band called Coldplay. They are an alternative rock band formed in London, England on 16 January 1998. The group comprises vocalist/pianist/guitarist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Will Champion. Being their second album, A rush of blood to the head was released in 2002. The album has several popular singles such as "In My Place", "Clocks", and the ballad "The Scientist." It also won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album at the 2003 Grammy Awards. This is my favourite CD, because you forget everything that surrounds you while you listen to it. My musical preferences are currently hip-hop and rap music but sometimes I like listening rock music. In my opinion the best hip-hop artist is 50 cent and best rock band is the Gueen with Freddie Mercury. My favourite song from 50 cent is ,,Window shopper" which talks about people who have so much money and possibilities that they can do anything or buy anything they want. ,,We are the champions" from the Queen is my second favourite piece on music. This song inspires me to me the champion and win in everything in my life. Both of these song are very good to listen. When in a mood for dreaming it is better to listen hip- hop especially ,,Window shopper" but in a need for inspiratoin mood the best song to listen is ,,We are the champions". In my opinion rap and hip- hop are for younger age groups although there are exeptions. Queen is for everyone because it is a legendary band which will be remembered for decades thanks to their great songs.
