Tänu sellele sai admiral üldlevinud sõimunime Old Grog (grogram kanga järgi, millest tol ajal laevastiku tarbeks rõivaid tehti) ega võitnud iial meremeeste poolehoidu, kes veega lahjendatud rummi samuti grog'iks ümber ristisid. Ajalooliste rummikangelaste hulka kuulub terve armaada musta lipu all seilanud mereröövleid: näiteks arvatakse, et just hirmuäratav Francis Drake segas kokku maailma esimese Mojito. Stiilsele ning auväärsele Jamaika rummile Captain Morgan, mida toodetakse aastast 1680, andis aga nime kurikuulus Inglise päritolu piraat ning sama saare hilisem kuberner Henry Morgan (16351688). 2.2 Valmistamine Rummi tooraineks olev suhkruroog võib kasvada 68 m kõrguseks ning saavutab koristusküpsuse alles siis, kui pool taimest on kuivanud. Austraalia ajalugu

Romet Tagobert The Australians have lived through many wars, revolutions and governmental problems, leaders, but they've only yet to break down. The Aborigines arrived in Australia at about 40,000BC, from which Tasmania was cut off by rising water levels at around 8,000BC. Convicts started being transported to Australia in 1770 which was a disaster for the Aborigines. Captain cook arrived in Botany Bay and claimed Australia for Britain. The 18th century life was hard and even small crimes were severe in Britain. Sometimes prisoners would be sentenced to transportation. After the American War of Independence (17751783) transportation wasn't possible anymore and the government began looking for another place for the transportees which was selected to be Botany Bay. On 13.05.1787 11 ships set sail from Portsmouth

Boston Tea Party

The Event The first of many ships which arrived at the Boston harbor carrying the East India Company tea was Dartmouth arriving in late November 1773. Thousands attended the protest meetings, every meeting larger than the one before. The crowds shouted defiance not only at the British Parliament, the East India Company, and Dartmouth but at Governor Thomas Hutchinson as well, who was still struggling to have the tea landed. The owner of the Dartmouth and its captain agreed that the tea would be returned to England. However, Governor Hutchinson ordered the harbor to be blocked and he would not allow any tea-bearing vessels to leave until they had been unloaded. When the captain reported Hutchinson's refusal to a massive protest meeting, the participants disguised as Indians and headed toward Boston Harbor, where lay Dartmouth and the newly-arrived Beaver and Eleanor. Casks of tea were brought up from the hold to the deck. The casks were opened and the tea

Northanger Abbey

"Can you, in short, be prevailed to quit this scene of public triumph and oblige your friend Eleanor with your company in Gloucestershire?" Catherine accepted the invitation delighted with having a chance of visiting a real abbey and also spending more time with Henry Tilney. Before Catherine left, Isabella told her that John was going to propose to her but Catherine asked Isabella to write an apology letter to her brother, telling that this was a misunderstanding. Henry's older brother, captain Frederick Tilney arrived in Bath. Isabella immediately noticed the captain and despite her engagement with James, started flirting with him. Catherine soon noticed something weird going on between Isabella and the captain. She spoke to Henry Tilney on the subject, regretting his brother's evident partiality for Miss Thrope, and entreating him to make known her prior engagement. "He does know it," was Henry's answer. Monster Magnet - kontserdiarvustus

mind huvitav instrumentaalne osa ja lool on ka väga ergutav viis. Monster Magnet on New Jersey bänd, mis alustas aastal 1989. Nende esimest, 1992. aastal ilmunud täispikka plaati ,,Spine of God" loetakse üheks stoner-roki alustalaks ja suunanäitajaks.

5-th chapter Root asks about the alert that Foaly has given him. Foaly says that Captain Holly Short is missing. Her locator was seen across the ocean and the coastline. It shows that she went to site fifty- seven. They lose the picture from her helmet but Foaly says that they still have the sound. Root can hear a human voice asking Holly to surrender and talking about the secret ritual. Foaly and Root go back to the camera feed and go through it slowly, seeing in slow motion a hypodermic dart fly through the air. They realize that Holly is missing in action, probably dead

San Francisco

the mission system gradually ended and its lands began to be privatized. In 1835, Englishman William Richardson erected the first independent homestead, near a boat anchorage around what is today Portsmouth Square. Together with Alcalde Francisco de Haro, he laid out a street plan for the expanded settlement, and the town, named Yerba Buena, began to attract American settlers. Commodore John D. Sloat claimed California for the United States on July 7, 1846, during the Mexican-American War, and Captain John B. Montgomery arrived to claim Yerba Buena two days later. Yerba Buena was renamed San Francisco on January 30 of the next year, and Mexico officially ceded the territory to the United States at the end of the war. The population of San Francisco was over 800 thousand people in 2010. Almost the half of its population are non-hispanic whites and a third are Asians. There's 15% of latinos and 6% of black people there.
