· Fort Canby State Park- One of the state's most scenic parks. You can see the mouth of
the Columbia River and two lighthouses, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse (built
1856) and the North Head, Lighthouse (built 1898). Available activities include
camping, picnicking, ocean views, beachcombing claming, surf, jetty and lake fishing,
boating and visitation of the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center
