Kitarrikursus algajatele 5.osa-Ben Edwards

The first part of `The Midnight Special' is the chord D followed by the chord G. Interestingly the WHOLE song uses the same structure, the guitar plays the same progression in both the verses and the choruses. In tomorrows lesson I will also give you a chance to play along with other instruments, but today we will try and work with a singer and your guitar. You will have noticed by now that I like to break things down and give them to you in small, manageable steps. Nothing is going to change for this lesson. There are going to be four parts to this lesson. Firstly I want you to listen to the song, then I want you to try and play it by yourself, thirdly I would like you to play it with another guitar, and finally we will get you playing it with a singer. Sustainability aspects of biofuels

The review will discuss the viability of biofuels based on the current technologies. Second-generation biofuels are not yet commercially viable and therefore will not be discussed; although they could significantly improve the sustainability of biofuels when they break through to the industrial scale. 2. The scale of biofuels production 2.1. Drivers of biofuels production Lal (2010) stated that "three inter-connected challenges face humankind in the 21st century": food security, climate change, and energy security. With the exception of the Bolsheviks, who propagated the idea of international world revolution, all Estonian parties shared the view that Estonia had to become an autonomous 15 | P a g e part of the Russian democratic federal republic. As a political ideal, some Estonian leaders (Jaan Tõnisson) already mentioned independent statehood and a complete break from Russia. In defence of Estonian national interests, the Estonian soldiers and officers serving in the Russian army were united into a national army unit, an Estonian division. In October 1917, the Bolsheviks seized power, soon established a one-party dictatorship and started to implement the utopian ideals of their egalitarian communism. The Soviet power nationalised the banks and large enterprises and prepared to assume possession of the mainly Baltic German manor houses...

Carolina Kluft Biography

A massive score of 4933 points secured the pentathlon title at the 2003 World Indoor Championships. Klüft followed this with personal bests and victories in the heptathlons in Götzis and Tallinn. She excelled even more by winning her first major outdoor title, the heptathlon at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris with a score of 7,001 points, ahead of Eunice Barber, who had 6,755 points. Klüft thus became the third woman ever to break the 7,000 point barrier in the heptathlon. She set six personal bests in the seven disciplines including a 1.94m high jump and an exceptional 200m of 22.98s. At one stage she was on the brink of elimination from the competition after overstepping on the first two of her three long jump attempts but ended up recording the best jump of the competition with 6.68m. She was later awarded Waterford Crystal European Athlete of the Year Trophy 2003. That same year, Klüft...

What makes a person successful?

What makes a person successful ? To answer that question, we firstly have to define a word success, because I personally think that everybody does it differently, but here comes my version. Success is a moment when a person achieves a goal that they has made for himself for a long time period. In my opinion, we have to stress the words ,,long time period." Why ? Because I do not think that somebody has made an enormous success, when the goal they had made was not actually a challenge. To make it more clear to You, we should not use extremely widespread Borat's expression ,,Great success!" so often. A succesful person takes down such goals as a wish to be a director, to get promoted and to marry a very nice looking lady. Achievements which some people see only in their dreams, the ones you can be proud of ! Surely it depends on every individual personally, what is important for them. In conclusion, a succesful per...

Carl Lewis

Then he goes for the long jump. First jump: 8,71 m. Second jump: 8,79 m, leaving at least 20 centimetres before the limit! Carl got dressed again and went away. Two hours later he's ready for the final of 200 m. His acceleration burns the track and, twenty meters far from the goal, raises his arms and greets the spectators. Final time: 19"75!! Journalists, who were astounded, asked him why he didn't try to break the world record (19"72): "I run against opponents not against absents" he replied. So the world championships of Helsinki confirmed his supremacy: three golds. It wasn't a secret Carl planned to win four gold medals at Los Angeles and he was at top during trials. He won all the competitions running 100 m in 10"06 (-2,2 m/s), 200 m in 19"86 (-0,2 m/s) and jumping 8,71 (+0,1 m/s). Two months later he's successful in winning four golds (100m ,200 m, long jump and 4x100 m relay)...
