Book Report "To Kill A Mockingbird"
Halloween party. Boo Radley saves the children and stabbs Ewell during the struggle.
Boo carries the wounded Jem back to Atticus's house, where the sheriff, in order to
protect Boo, insists that Ewell tripped over a tree root and fell on his own knife. After
sitting with Scout for a while, Boo disappears once more into the Radley house.
Quotation
I would like to bring out a quotation that helps to understand the book better. "Shoot
all the blujays you want, if you can't hit `em, but remember it's a sin to kill a
mockingbird." Atticus said that to his children, he gave the instructions for life with
this sentence. Mockingbird is a symbol of innocence and therefore it's a sin to harm
innocent people.
My opinion
It was enjoyable and quite serious reading. That book wasn't only a story of relations
between people but also a historical review about what was going on in southern
America in the 1930s
