Almost every weekend in the summer there are highland games somewhere in
Scotland. A lot of people all over the world come to see them or come to take part
of them. There are over three thousand bagpipers and drummers who play all day
long. There are also highland dancing competitions as well as events like throwing
the hammer or throwing a large three as far as possible. Athletes wear traditional
kilts.
