Tähtsamaiks on laevadele diiselmootorite tootmine, milles Taanit võib pidada monopolistiks kogu maailma turul. Täna on iga kolmas maailmamerel liikuv laev kas Taanis toodetud või MAN B ja W DIESEL litsentsi alusel valmistatud diiselmootoriga.
