Nende puhul on küsitlejal vastava tarkvaraga installeeritud arvuti, mis monitorile kuvab vajaliku küsimuse, võimaldab kiirelt sisestada saadud vastuse ja kas ise või võrgus oleva emaarvuti kaasabil teeb andmetöötluse.
