The stage was a lot smaller then and the hill surrounding it accommodated far fewer people, so during major renovations a new stage was constructed to take double the number of singers and a higher tower for the "Song Festival live Fire" was built. Every morning you can see Changing of the Guard, which takes place in front of the palace and lasts fourty minutes. The guards are soldiers who protect the monarch. The Mall is a road in London running from Buckingham Palace at its western end to Admiralty Arch and on to Trafalgar Square at its eastern end. The monarch rides along the Mall in the Gold State Coach, with more than a hundred soldiers on horses, when she/he leaves Buckingham Palace in autumn. On one side of the street you can see beautiful buildings and houses, such as St James's Palace, Clarence House and Lancaster House. St James's park is located on the other side of the Mall.

This time the church was built of hewn limestone blocks, in the historical neo- Roman style, on the basic plan on a Latin cross. The inside of the church is exceptionally large and open, the ceiling being supported by a special arch supporting system and the sides characterized with arched windows. The benches inside can fit a total of 1500 people. When the first service was held there, exactly 200 years after the consecration of the first wooden church, the reconstruction was not completely finished – missing were the steeples and the altar painting, as well as the proposed figures in the wall niches that actually haven’t appeared to this day.
