Mitte ainult ei toimu tootmine nüüdsest erinevates rajatites, vaid sageli asuvad tootmishooned erinevates riikides. Food Microstructure and Starch Digestion

Cooking or just thermal heating starch leads to an increase of hydrolysis and therefore makes it easier for enzymatic attack in the gastrointestinaal tract. Slide 6 Starch digestion is also different in various foods with diferent components. Proteins that attaches to starch granules may make harder to digest starch. Cooking starch with protein may also reduce effectness of digestion. Protein forms around starch and it is harder to break through to starch. Ohter study found out that adding sodium sulphite to starch can prevent enzyme-resistant polymers that increase the speed of digestion because amylotic enzymes can easily hydrolyse starch. Removing gluten may also work to increase digestion time, but adding it back doed not reverse the reaction. Slide 7 This study found out how important is starch in our everyday life. Starch is one of the most important carbohydrates in our diet and therefore we studies how we can imprõve or decrease

Truth or Dare ?

One player starts the game by asking another player, "Truth or dare?" If the queried player answers, "truth," then the questioning player asks a question, usually embarrassing, of the queried player. If the queried player answers, "dare," then the questioning player asks the queried to do something, also usually embarrassing. After answering the question or doing the dare, the queried player asks "truth or dare?" of another player and the game proceeds as before. The game may be expanded upon by adding additional options to choose from, such as making the dare apply to both the questioner and the queried, or incorporating Spin the Bottle to select the next person to be asked; this results in many different "variants" of the game, limited only by the players' creativity. The game's title is sometimes extended to reflect additional options, for example: "truth, dare, double-dare, kiss, torture or promise". When double-dare is chosen, the person chosen is

Internet chatrooms do not serve a useful purpose, essay

I saw a documentary about chatrooms lately and there were men who set up a date with under- aged girl, they recorded it and it was sent to police, because having more-than- friends-relationship with under- aged girl is against the law. Parents and schools should be teaching more about Internet safety nowadays to help kids understand about chatroom dangers. In my opinion second important danger is cheating money from innocent people behind their back. Internet chatrooms gain money by adding any kind of advertisements to their application. Many of those advertisements have text for example ,,You won 1 million'' or ,,Write here your phone number and get new Mobile Phone''. But if people click there and insert all the numbers and addresses what are needed there, then for example your phone bill is growing every month and you don't know where it is going and you can't stop services like these.

Law of Diminishing Returns

What is the law of diminishing returns? Why this proposition is called a "law"? It states that, at some point- when we add more variable input to a fixed input- our marginal product will start to decrease as the newly added variable input is being added to an already increasingly scares input. This can be explained by citing an example, if we add more workers to a job, such as assembling a car. At some point, adding more workers would cause problems, as they would be getting in each other's way, or workers wold often find themselves waiting for access to specific part or tool required for the job. This proposition is called a law because it is standardized and applicable on all the production processes. Any manufacturing and production company can use this proposition (or Law) to their betterment. Is Tony right in his analysis of the situation? Explain.

education. Another relevant point is that nowadays you have to know how to work in a group and student organizations are excellent places to practise it. It must also be noted that good ideas come more easily in a group. In addition, it is easier to make these ideas come alive with lots of people than alone. It is the group energy, all working for the same goal that gives students will to work more. It is said that students have already too many responsibilities and adding the organizations in daily life becomes too much to take. On the one hand, being involved in an organization takes up some precious time, but on the other hand it teaches students how to manage their time. Another aspect is that when student is really into that organization it might distract them from schoolwork. It becomes more interesting and enjoyable than school. It is clear from the above that student organizations are beneficial for students. It is not compulsory for

Carbon capture and storage

Humans are changeing the planet with their ordinary life. The principle cause of climate change is the increase in carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. The main cause of that is the burning of fossile fuels. This is leading to the global warming. People have discovered a way to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. It is possible to seperate the CO2 from the other gases by adding liquid which is very good at absorbing CO2. Then it can be pumped to underground. Scientist came up with this idea because methane gas has been down there for thousands of years and it has not come up. So they expect that the CO2 won't be coming up either. To be sure of that, they are coing to make a test and drill two wells to take purified CO2, inject it into the ground and monitor the physical changes that CO2 undergoes. This technology is really new and it is unknown to people

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE You hear a lot about living a healthy lifestyle, enough that the phrase 'healthy lifestyle' may be one we'd like to permanently retire. The problem is, that phrase describes the life we need to live if we want to feel good and look good. So, what does it actually mean? Well, there are the obvious things that describe a healthy person: He or she doesn't smoke, is at a healthy weight, eats healthy foods not trans fats and exercises on a regular basis. It sounds so simple, it's funny just how hard it is to do all of those things in our current world. The good news is, you don't have to change everything at the same time. In fact, the trick to healthy living is making small changes. Take more steps each day, adding fruit to your cereal, having an extra glass of water or saying no to that second helping of buttery mashed potatoes. So, what else can you be doing to live healthy? Your first order...

Silversmithing Silversmithing is an important art form among Navajo. Silversmithing dates back to the 1800s when Navajo artists began melting silver coins to make jewelry. By the 1890s, Navajo silversmiths had begun setting turquoise into their jewelry. Navajo smiths began adding large chunks of stones, usually turquoise, to the silver in unique designs. Over time, they developed tools and techniques to stamp or engrave the metal. Today, Navajo jewelry is well known and highly valued by both Native and non-Native Americans. It remains a distinctive feature of Navajo history and culture. Basketry Navajos are also known for their basket work. They believe the First Man and First Woman made baskets for ceremonial purposes.

damage from hurricanes and tropical storms. The effects of a warmer climate may begin to take its toll on people as well. Particularly those who are physically weaker are going to have a harsh life. During the hot summer of 1995, the frightening effects of high temperatures were felt in Chicago, when 700 people died as a result of heat-related problems. Air quality in many parts of the country is already considered unhealthy. With global warming adding to it, it's only going to get worse and worse. Furthermore, warmer temperatures would widen the range of disease carried by rodents and mosquitoes. This increase of temperatures is happening at a pace that outstrips anything the Earth has seen in the past 100 million years. We have caused all of this over many years of over industrialization in this growing world. Many different things cause the greenhouse effect. The amount of carbon dioxide in the

Tea

Coffee has become popular in recent years, but many people continue to drink tea. In the UK there are as many different ways of making and drinking tea as there are flavours. People drink Indian teas, Chinese teas, herbal teas, and fruit teas. English tea is specially adapted for UK tastebuds. To make a cup of English tea the first step is to boil some water - usually in an electric kettle. Traditionally the drink is then made by pouring the boiling water into a teapot and adding tea leaves. The leaves are left to infuse, or brew, and when it is ready the liquid is poured into teacups through a strainer and drunk with milk. Nowadays, many people use teabags, which are perforated pockets of paper with leaves inside. There is some controversy over the use of milk in tea - some people say that milk should be put in the cup or mug before the tea, and others are equally insistent that it should be put in afterwards.

heavy-duty components when they design an engine intended for supercharged use. This makes the vehicle more expensive. Superchargers also cost more to maintain, and most manufacturers suggest high-octane premium- grade gas. Despite their disadvantages, superchargers are still the most cost-effective way to increase horsepower. Superchargers can result in power increases of 50 to 100 percent, making them great for racing, towing heavy loads or just adding excitement to the typical driving experience. The Roots supercharger is the oldest design. Philander and Francis Roots patented the design in 1860 as a machine that would help ventilate mine shafts. In 1900, Gottleib Daimler included a Roots supercharger in a car engine. As the meshing lobes spin, air trapped in the pockets between the lobes is carried between the fill side and the discharge side. Batman's original mask was inspired by the film "The Mask of Zorro", but when Kane showed his drawings to Bill Finger, they decided upon adding the distinctive points on the character's cowl to make him look more like a bat. Finger also found the original wings to be too gangly and recommended more elegant and simple scowled cape for the hero. It was also Finger's suggestion to have the hero's eyes while wearing the costume be simple white spots, which would remind the empty eyes of a bat. Social network

Facebook's latest research shows that the most popular mobile device used for visiting m.facebook.com is iOS and by the popularity the second most used device is Android. Using Facebook on your mobile device raises the potential of your account getting stealed. It is so because most of the users don't use safe connection so all your data is available to other users on the same network. So the very first thing you should do is to use safe connection by adding to the end of this word ,,http://" (which you can find in the beginning of every webpage) an ,,s" so the address should be like ,,https://". The second thing you can do is that if you own the Wi-Fi access point then you should definately put a password to it because then others that don't have a password can not connect to your network. Although you put a password protection to your Wi-Fi network you should know that there's still a small potential of your account been stolen.

be flooded. Richard and James ran straight to their cars with their wetsuits still on as I decided to get changed first. It turned out to be a bad idea but in the end it all went well. As it was getting past the afternoon tea time we decided that we had to make ourselves something to eat. We stopped at the gas station in order to buy some ingredients. Having shopped we went back to the campsite and started to cook. As I was adding my Castrol GTX oil to my flower soup Hammonds' place, had caught fire. As Hammonds' diningroom was burning down we all decided to abandon cooking and have a drink. The next morning when I woke up I had to witness Hammond and James do their usual morning business. As you can imagine, a man pooping next to the drivers' seat and a man pooping in a rocketship was quite funny and at the same time disturbing. James and Hammond having wiped their bottoms we decided to go to a near by beauty site.

The art of dance

patrons and impresarios. Dance traditions may be limited to one culture, but they all develope. Ballet is an example of a highly developed Western form of dance that moved to the theatres from the French court during the time of Louis XIV. Some dances, such as the quadrille, a square dance and other country dances were once popular at social gatherings, but are now rarely performed. On the other hand, many folk dances have evolved into competitions, which by adding to their audiences, has increased their entertainment value. Still, there’s some dance styles that might not be approved by society. Since dance is often associated with the women’s body, female dancers, in some cases, have been regarded as distinct from decent women, because they use their bodies to make a living instead of hiding them as much as possible. While some cultures regard any dancing by women as the most shameful form of

Alice Liddell. This was given some apparent substance by the fact the acrostic poem at the end of Through the Looking Glass spells out her name, and that there are many superficial references to her hidden in the text of both books. It has been pointed out that Dodgson himself repeatedly denied in later life that his "little heroine" was based on any real child, and frequently dedicated his works to girls of his acquaintance, adding their names in acrostic poems at the beginning of the text. Gertrude Chataway's name appears in this form at the beginning of The Hunting of the Snark, and no one has ever suggested this means any of the characters in the narrative are based on her. Though information is scarce (Dodgson's diaries for the years 18581862 are

Topic Libraries Tallinn English College 8b form 2007 1. Introduction A library is a collection of books. Libraries are maintained by a public body such as an institution or an individual. These collections are used by people who choose not to (or cannot afford) purchase an extensive collection themselves or who need professional assistance with their research. (Hydractive) and active control of body roll (Citroën Activa). The latest incarnation features a simplified single pump-accumulator sphere combination. The system had one key negative impact on the inventor, Citroën - only specialist garages were qualified to work on the cars - making them seem radically different from ordinary cars with common mechanicals. Auto manufacturers are still trying to catch up with the combination of features offered by this 1955 suspension system, typically by adding layers of complexity to an ordinary steel spring mechanical system Air Suspension. Air suspension is a type of vehicle suspension powered by an engine driven or electric air pump or compressor. This pump pressurizes the air, using compressed air as a spring. Air suspension replaces conventional steel springs. If the engine is left off for an extended period, the car will settle to the ground. The purpose of air suspension is to provide a smooth ride quality and in some cases self-leveling.

communication, and more—while recovering lost emphases from the past. The present essay is a first step in identifying useful elements of a new paradigm for addressing the future in planning. CORE ANALYTICAL CONCEPTS-Projection, Forecast and Plan. A projection is not a prediction but merely the result of entering hypothetical assumptions into a mechanistic quantitative procedure. A forecast represents a best guess about the future, achieved by adding judgment about the most likely future rates of behavior and other assumptions. Part of the judgment required for a forecast includes decision making about the quality of input data and what type of analytical model provides the most realistic results. Finally, a plan requires evaluation of the forecasted future for its level of desirability and potential alterability. Plans can be constructed to avoid undesirable
