by a spacious park, which can be found next to the
concert house even today, reminding us of the former
glory of the manor.
In cooperation with the Estonian M inistry of Culture and Jõhvi Government the Jõhvi
Theater was built in 2004 and first opened its doors on the 8th of October 2005
under the management of Aivar M äethe Director of Estonian Concert. The architects
of the Concert H ouse are Ra Luhse and Tanel Tuhal. Scenes have been furnished
with modern equipment. Linda M adalik created the grand hall's excellent acoustics.
It is considered, that the hall has the best acoustics in the country.
Beside two concert halls and orchestra hall, inside the main building of Jõhvi Theater
is situated the Estonia's biggest cinema Amadeus, Jõhvi City Gallery, Jõhvi M usic
School, H obby Centre and famous for it's exotic dishes Café M ozart .
