TALLINN TOWN HALL Tallinn Town Hall is the only surviving Gothic town hall in Northern Europe. Built in the heart of Tallinn, next to a marketplace, the Town Hall has witnessed trade and social activities for over 700 years. It has still remained the most important representational building in town. The building history of the Town Hall goes back to the 13th century, but it acquired its medieval appearance in 140204. It was as early as 1248 when King Eric IV Ploughpenny of Denmark granted the Lübeck Charter to Tallinn. Relying on that document a town council was elected from amongst merchants of the Hanse and started convening in the Town Hall. Samsung and Sony Ericsson, with four users, is in the lead. Most of the phones cost more than 100 euros. However, three owners got their phones for free. The average cost of a cell phone is 195 euros. Eight out of thirteen students bought their phone themselves. Furthermore, five students acquired their phones as presents. The most popular phone feature used is calling. Also, nearly three out of four students use their phones to browse the Internet, and almost a half of students use their phones to send text messages. A little over a quarter of students like to play games on their mobile phones, and one fourth enjoy using their devices to listen to music. True, that a life in the city may seem more entertaining, rapid and fastinating, but it's only an illusion which is brought out due to the commotion in the city. But life in the countryside is more healthy due to the unpolluted air, possibility to evolve agriculture and an elbowroom in which one can dabble sports. One negative side effect accompanies living in the country is absense of infrastructures. Many important institutions locate too far and due to that transportation is an important subject while living in the country. To sum up, living in the city is comfortable but noisy and living in the country is peaceful but time-consuming.
