Studying abroad

Studying abroad Essay Nowadays, when borders are opened and we have so many opportunities to travel and see the world, some of us look jobs abroad, but someones go to educate themselves. Studying abroad is becoming more and more popular in young people. But why is that so? Studying and living abroad puts one young person to very difficult situation, he or she has to become independent. You do not have your parents right next to you, you have to handle everyday -life yourself. Maybe the beginning itself is hard, but it is definately useful. You learn to live life on your own. However, it definitely has a negative sides. On the one hand, studying abroad is new experience and motivating, but on the other hand it can be distracting. Firstly, studying abroad give to people more experience and philosophy of life. Compared to the situation one hundred years ago, studying abroad is broadly spread all over the world. Moreover, travel is easier and convenient. In addition, studying abroad has become more and more popular

Living and working abroad

Living and working abroad Living and working abroad may be better than in your home country. That can only be figured out by looking at your advantages and disadvantages that will occur. Starting with the advantages, the biggest advantage would be new experience. Learning a new culture and the way the people live, what they eat, how they dress, how they talk to each other, is a fantastic new experience. It can also involve more travelling around the world, learning more and more new cultures, meeting new people and getting smarter all the time

Peoples want to get payd good for their job , in Estonia is minimum wage like 350 , but in Finland thats like 1000 or something. Of course Estonians go work to Finland , because they want to get better life. Peoples , who work abroad will get better job and get higher price for it. For and against studying abroad

For and against studying abroad At first it will definitely seem exciting, scary and overwhelming to study and live in another country and far away from all your friends and family back home. This experience will expanded your horizons and make you more independent. Obviously there are both pros and cons to studying abroad, and here is what I think they might be. I believe that there are many advantages that the time abroad will provide you. For instance you will make a lot of friends from all over the world. It is always nice to have a place to stay when you accidentally end up in Japan or Australia for a few days. Being an exchange student is also a fabulous chance for travelling. Getting to know a new country so well is definitely not possible during a holiday or a short visit. Besides living in a new culture for a long period of time will teach you more about the culture than reading any book about it.

Should we first discover our homeland before going abroad?

Should we first discover our homeland before going to other countries? It does not matter where in the world you live you always tend to think that anywhere else life is better and has more opportunities to success in life. It may be so but the majority sometimes does not even know the chances and advantages of their own homeland. If to talk about in the matter of travelling then I am assured that it is not relevant to drive through all your homeland in order to take a plane to another country. Some of the countries (or some parts of it) are so big or hardly reachable that half of the locals wont access these parts of the country never in their whole lifetime. I am certain that no one should waste their life on acting like someone has said to be right instead of acting by your own desires. Furthermore, if you have lived in your homeland for your entire lifetime, you should be wise enough to know about the culture, nature and geogra...

How to keep Estonians in Estonia - kirjand

Whatever it is that they change it only drives Estonians away. I think that if everyone could get higher education for free they wouldn't have to get a student loan which they are not able to pay back after graduating. They have to get a well-paid job. But here in Estonia you can't get a great job unless you have a relative who's a top executive. Because of this many people go to a foreign country for a short time. At least that's what they say. Most of my friends and relatives who have gone abroad years ago are sure they are never coming back to live in Estonia. I'm not sure if it would help to keep Estonians in Estonia if kids would have a normal childhood but it really makes me angry that they have to be able to read at the age of 5. I think it wouldn't hurt to be able to read before school if the kid is interested in it. But to put pressure on them at such a young age is wrong. School is a place where kids are forced to do things they don't like but it

English is the only foreign language worth learning

English is quite far-spread language all over the world. Lots of people believe that English is only foreign language what is need to be learned. I strongly agree with this view for a number of reasons. First of all, nowadays English is the most widely spoken and undrestood language in the business world. International companys and other organsations uses English as their communication language. What is more, when students would like to go studying abroad then English is necessery and sufficient. Usually the studies are in English and being on abroad usually you can speak in English. Furthermore, travelling in foreign country is not a problem when you can speak and undrestand a little bit English. Being in tourist region like somewhere in USA, England or other you can communicate everybody in English. All in all, I believe that English is one of the most important language to learn. English is the base of business world and tourism

First of all, the main what attracts people abroad are journeys. People want to widen their outlook. Tallinn is the right place for tourists who want to get know about the medieval life in Europe. Here are such attractions as the Medieval Old Town, Kadriorg Park and Rusalka monument. These are the main places people usually want to visit. So, we must develop our tourism system. For example, make up some journey programmes with elements of the Estonian tales. That certainly attracts much more tourists in Tallinn.

My future plans

I will try to tell in the shortest way about the exact things. The 9th form finishes and I am happy and sad at the same time. I think I will miss my classmates and some of the teachers from this school but I understand that from that point starts a new period of my life. After the 9th form I am going to study further but where exactly, I can't say now. I am thinking about what to choose. In my opinion the most perfect choice for me would be studying abroad. I know it will be very useful and interesting experience for me. My dream is to visit Tallinn like a guest. But may be when I leave my town I will value it more than I did before. And could be that it is just popular today: dreaming about leaving your hometown and studying abroad. For today my plans are to study till 12th form and then enter the university. In future I will also improve my foreign languages.

cry of the seagulls. Trips on the Volga, the Dnieper, the Yenisei, the Black Sea are very popular today. Many people like to travel by car. It is interesting too, because you can stop when and where you like, you do not have to buy tickets or carry your suitcases. A very popular method of travelling is hiking. It is travelling on foot. Walking tours are very interesting. Hitch-hiking is a very popular method of travelling among young people. But it is not so popular in our country as abroad. Whether we like it or not, at some point most people will have to deal with some kind of unexpected situation while travelling abroad. Situations that arise can be quite varied; from less pressing problems such as losing your luggage or getting lost, to bigger problems such as running out of money or a health emergency. In this situations you must stay calm. Take time to assess the problem and come up with a plan, and only then should you begin to act.

considered more valuable, and waste incineration is not popular. In Romania, DH consumption was reduced by one-half. Distribution losses are enormous. New less polluting plants are needed. Consortia from established DH countries could offer DH systems from fuel to customer if local policies facilitate DH development. Introduction This paper describes barriers to district heating (DH) in various parts of Europe and to Swedish involvement in district-heating business abroad. The paper is based on a report called "District Heating in Europe: Barriers to overcome for Swedish export" , which was prepared for The Swedish District Heating Association. The losses by energy conversion in Europe are of the same magnitude as the European heat demand and consist mainly of heat that is wasted by electricity generation . District heating is a means to utilise such surplus heat to cover heat demand.

Life in Estonia through the eyes of an economics student

Close connections and pendulum migration have tightened the cooperation between the countries. For instance, Estonia and Finland have developed common economic space. Right now Estonia's most important trading partners are Finland, Sweden, Russia and Germany which Estonia is mainly influenced by. Maintaining good relations between neighboring countries and being a member of EU has opened the possibility not only for good trading business but also to take the opportunities to travel and work abroad more easily improving Estonians human capital. Furthermore, Estonia has really outstanding level of education. Compared to other countries, our students get more thorough education and have good knowledge of languages. Based on the OECD’s Education at a Glance 2014 at least 90% of 25-64years old Estonians have secondary education, while average of OECD is 75%. important. The negative side of the work might be the unconstat routine, but as i know, this might also be a plus side of this work, you will never know what will happen tomorrow or where will you go next week. When you have family and children, it is more difficult to go abroad for 5 years but you can bring your family with you to this country but when children are getting older then it is better to have stability in their lives. Diplomat has to work abroad, this means in another country and you will be away from your homeland. For me it's not so important how much you will make when you are a diplomat but for people who it is, i think the wages are around 30 000 krones plus the advantages you get for doing it. But i think if person decides that he wants to do it, then the money doesn't have so big role in it. Important is the cause. It is very likely to get promoted if you do a good job and be yourself and if you are made for it

Why learn English?

English has switched places with Latin, which once was the language of educated people. Not to mention the fact that people can use it for communication with eachother. In my opinion it is not necessary to learn that country's mother tongue while most of the people are able to talk in English. I find that English connects different people and helps us to feel like a big multicultural family. In addition to that it is a whole lot easier to find a job abroad, if you are fluent in English, because they are looking for workers who are able to talk with no language barrier and it shows that you are open to different challenges. All in all, I find that learning English is extremely important and useful, because we can use it everywhere and everytime.

Choices after secondary school

Working can show if there are any of professions you're good at, as it will improve your interest in certain occupations. On the other hand, it is better not to let years between studies. Researches have shown that students, who have worked for few years after secondary school, can't concentrate on their lessons as much as those whose first choice was university. Thirdly, novadays students more often are facing financial problems. Lots of them are thinking that it is useful to work abroad in order to pay fees at university. Also, working in foreign countries is an advantage to improve your language skills. Last but not least, I think eightteen-year-old students aren't ready to start their career. Futhermore, they are usually working at low-paid occupations. It's because they don't have any profession after graduating and their working experience level is mainly zero. To sum up, I feel it would be better to go to university after graduation because after working

Have you ever wondered what travelling gives to people? Is it just all about getting away from home or something more? The person who has seen the world has more knowledge about the things going on elsewhere. From a personal standpoint, travelling is one of the ways how to accomplish themselves, for example some people go abroad only with a packback just to see if they could live without fancy hotels and only little cash in their pockets. On the other hand, it might get really hard to get food and shelter but young people like adventures. The second reason, why so many young people travel to other countries is that they want to become an exchange student. This also includes very much travelling and seeing the land. Unfortunately, it might be a sad travel because of missing their family.

Most needed professions in 21st century in Estonia

In Estonia the most needed professions are connected with computers, different hi-tech machines and healthcare. Firstly, in my opinion the biggest deficit is in doctors. The main reason for that might be that the studies take a lot of time, sometimes about 10 years, which means that we can start working at the age of 28 to 30. Another reason could be that doctors are in my opinion very often underpaid and with that comes up another problem. In hope to get bigger salaries they often go abroad leaving our small independent country without highly qualified doctors. Secondly, nowadays our environment is more and more connected to technology. A lot of factories are using more robots and sundry machines that help factories to speed up their producing rates. For those machines to work we need men or women who are qualified enough to program very complex programs that make those machines work.

Around the world there are so many different peole who do different jobs. My mother works in a hospital. She's a nurse of extraordinary medicine. She loves her job, because she thinks it's interesting to help all these people. She has also worked in a bank and when she was younger she was a secretary. When she graduated high school she wanted to become a stewardess, but life went the other way. My father works in Finland. He is a builder. Sometimes he is abroad for several months. He worked couple of years ago at the same hospital where my mother works. He was an ambulance driver. i can't say that some jobs are unnecessary or pointless, but i can say what jobs i don't like. I think i don't want to become a doctor or even a nurse, because i don't stand blood. In the future i want to become a teacher. I want to teach Estionian language or literature to high school students. To become a good teacher, i have to go to high school and graduate it

If you could visit three places..

If you could visit three places anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you do there? If I could visit three places in the world, I think I'd choose civilized places in Europe, America and Australia rather than exotic locations. I've been to abroad and I like travelling. Firstly I would like to go to America. If I had to choose, I'd probably go to San Francisco. There are a lot of sights: Golden Gate Bridge, the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, Alcatraz, City Hall, Chinatown, Museum of Modern Art and AT&T Park, where I could watch the baseball match of San Francisco Giants. Secondly I'd like to visit Australian city Sydney. I'd certainly go to the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Town Hall, Taronga Zoo

English in my Life

Tourists from the Scandinavian countries and from other places of Europe don't speak in Estonian. So it is quite important for us to speak itEnglish an international language. It also goes the other way around when we go traveling somewhere in Europe or even further - then we mainly use English to communicate with people. Over the last 10 years the use of English has grown a lot in Estonia. We have many new TV channels in English. Also some Estonians work abroad because of the salary or better working conditions. There are jobs that require English even here in Estonia, as well. For example, in marketing, business, sports, tourism, show business and in many other fields. As for myself I don't use English very often outside the classroom. Sometimes I chat with my brother-in-law who's Irish. Also my friends have their own band and I've written lyrics to them a couple of times. In the future I would like to go backpacking somewhere in Europe. Then I

Wonders of the Modern World

probes to several different planets and even to the sun. So far, there has not been found any intelligent life in the universe, but who knows what the future holds. International travel is also something that has changed the modern world. People can now easily travel from one end of the world to another, in quite a short time too. It is estimated that, at any one time these days, there are as many people travelling in aero planes as the total number of people who travelled abroad in the whole of the nineteenth century. There are many different wonders in modern world, but in my opinion, these make up the Top three for me. It's just that I couldn't imagine the modern world without them.

For and against globalization

cheapest source of desired goods and services. Thirdly removing trading barriers help unemployed people to get jobs and deincrease the effect of the nowaday monopolies and explotation of the citizenz by the local businessmen. One point in favour of globalization is that it causes faster economic growth in all countries including the poor countries, lower prices of foods, drugs, clothes and shelter. Greater opportunities for skilled persons both locally and abroad and of course better understanding among the peoples of different countries. In spite of that the current rulers and dominators are not willing to agree with globalization, because they have their own vested interests, especially in socialist, communist and poor countries. Currently they don't have to compete with the efficient and skilled Word. They have arranged their own monopolies to make the best financial gains and most comfortable lives
