Life in future

Life in future I think that technology will definitely influence our lives, but I don't think that life will be better than now, rather worse. The air won't be suitable for breathing so there will be probably some kind of masks or glass cities, where to live. Water won't be drinkable and people will buy all needful water from shops, actually not from shops but from the internet, because there won't be shops anymore. Food nearly won't exist anymore; energy will come in tablet form. Transport will be a lot comfortable and faster. Cars will be soundless and all vehicles will whir ten times faster. You will think nothing of taking a holiday in outer space. Students will learn from TV, recorders and teaching machines. They will get pills to make them learn faster. We shall be healthier, too. There will be no common colds, cancer, tooth decay or mental illness

Advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city Big citys are full of fast cars, huge biuldings and overcrowded streets. Living in a big city is good because all the shops are near you, but in a city there are more stealing than in a country and you may have some noisy neighbors. Firstly, in a city there are lots of shops where you can buy everything you need. There are bigger grocery stores with bigger variety of products than in the countryside. Also there are many drapers. People who live in the countryside have to drive to the city when they want to buy clothes, but people who live in the city can buy clothes whenever they want. Secondly, in a city may happen that some very noisy people move next to you. They could disturb you and you may have to call to the police very often

The Most Exciting Holiday of My Life

The Most Exciting Holiday of My Life About a year ago I went to Spain to spend a week of my summer holiday there. I was there with my family and with aunt and her husband. We were in a nice hotel near the beach. The second day I wanted to go shopping in the city but my parents disagreed. They suggested that we should go sightseeing. At last we found that we could go walk in the beach where also were many shops. But it was miles away, so we had to rent a car. We could rent a car from our hotel's reception. Unfortunately we were told that all cars were hired out. Then my parents suggested to spend the day swimming in a hotel pool, but I didn't feel spending my day like this. We found a place to hire cars near the hotel. The only available car was Citroën C1. This was really small, but our only choice.

Clothes, cosmetics and other goods are sold on its ten floors. Many New York stores specialize in clothes. Designers suck as Christian Dior have shops on and around Fifth and Madison Avenues. Children can find plenty of places to spend their money. They include the FAO Schwarz toy store in Fifth Avenue, one of the world's biggest toy shops. At the entrance there is a singing clock and an actor dressed as a toy soldier who greets visitors. Inside, staff demonstrate many of the games and toys for sale. It was about your company looking retailers for your products. At the moment our company is in search for new suppliers, therefore we might be interested in selling some of your products in our shops in France. As the advertisement was rather brief, we have some questions about the possible business arrangement. The main concern is about your price range. We would be very grateful when you could send us the price list. In addition, it would be nice, when you could add the list of products and their qualities. Our company has eight stores in France, so our orders could be quite big. Thus we would appreciate if you could advise us of your terms of payment and any discount available.

In addition they have many extremely cheap special offers. Although their normal prices are not cheaper than the prices at other supermarkets. Recommendation All in all I think that Selver is a good place to do your shopping because you do not have to go to ten different shops because you get almost everything what you want from Selver and the prices are affordable. Still the Selver company should take into consideration to building some supermarkets also in town centre.

Where would you prefer to live and why?

Where would you prefer to live and why? I would prefer to live in a big city instead of a village or a small town. For example Tallinn, London, New York or Paris. To start with, I would like to live in a big city because of its advantages. Big cities usually have more opportunities to spend your day and night. There are cinemas, coffee shops, theatres, shopping centres, libraries and night clubs. Although you need money to attend different exhibitions and shows big city also offers you free activities. Secondly, there are lots of banks, company offices and factories where people can work. That is the second reason I think big city life is better than a life in a small village. Last but not least, people usually think that they would not like to live in a big city because

Living in the Big Apple

Living in the Big Apple The Big Apple is a wonderful place to live but it has its own drawbacks. First and foremost, if live in the Big Apple you are exposed to the diversity of people, which gives you an oppurtunity to enrich yourself by seeing other cultures. Despite the fact that living in New York is a big financial struggle you can still have a lot of fun on budget. Furthermore, there are a lot of shops in New York which are open 24 hours a day, so everything is at your fingertips. On the other hand, there is a lot of pollution and noise in the Big Apple, but I think it's acceptable for a hudge city like New York. Besides the pollution and noise, there is a much bigger problem in the Big Apple and that problem is crime. It's becoming a dangerous place to live, but the clampdown on crime has improved the city tremendously. The agressive nature of New Yorkers is also a

lot more customers than before. Bonuses for regular customers: Secondly, I think that regular customers who have been visting your shop for years, should get different bonuses. For example an even bigger discount for many products, a gift voucher or maybe sometimes getting the contents of their shopping cart for free. I think that would give the shop more customers. Conclusion To sum up, I believe that if you take some of the suggestions above into consideration, the shops overall quality would certainly rise and it would make more profit.

From countryside to the cities, the use of plastic materials has greatly increased. In the grocery stores, tons of products are packaged using plastic materials. About 30 years ago, in some countries , there were no plastic bags used for packaging and carrying items. Items in the shops were packed in biodegradable paper bags. The negative and positive sides of consumption

The positive and negative sides of consumption Nowadays people produce many things and they do it more and more, because people consume them. Actually they do not need those things, but they want to try something new. Before that people produced and consumed less, they bought only that what they needed. Firstly, it is positive that I can buy what I want. I can buy all necessary and pointless things in shops. It is good that people make different things because people, who go to the shop, can choose exactly that thing what he wants and he can choose price too. If he has rich, he can choose expensive thing and if he has poor, he can choose cheap things. Quality is different and then price is different too. But earlier, people can not choose between different things, because then produced less and only one exemplar. For example, then did not many different

drinks they want to be like them. What is more, these commercials teach them that a party is more fun with different alcoholic drinks. Finally, different clubs and pubs security guards should ask more effectively for documents to prove the age of the visitors. Too many teenagers are visiting clubs because they can get in easily. When security guards ask for documents then youngsters are not able to get any alcohol because shops are also closed by the time. All things considered, media should not promote drinking and people have to think more carefully before they take their alcohol bottle. When commercials are banned and people have stopped drinking we have got hard working and smart people, not socially excluded people.

Life in the future

Life in the future In the domain of technology, robots will have replaced people in factories. Many factories already use robots. Big companies prefer robots- they do not ask for pay rises or go on strike, and they work 24 hours a day. By 2050, we will see robots everywhere- in factories, schools, offices, hospitals, shops and homes. In the 2050 every human have an opportunity to go on space travel, because space travels will cost less. Even the poor people can allow this. Schooling will be much better and cheaper (in the long run) in 2050. The word ,,school" will no longer be in our vocabulary. School will be called a ,,work force".
