Hobbies I have always thought that everybody should have their own hobby. Hobby, which is good and useful way to spend your time instead of playing computer games. I live in the countryside and because of that i don't have many opportunities do deal with hobbies, which I like. I have one hobby, which I really like, but the negative side of it is that I can do it only in the winter. No, it's not skiing, it's ice skating! I love it and it doesn't urge not much at all in the winter. All you need are ice skates, warm clothes and clean ice, which exist in the countryside too. I have bought myself figure skates, which didn't cost much, because i bought already used ones. Ice skates can be really expensive, but you should buy expensive ones, when you

Hobbies contribute to one's personal development

Hobbies contribute to one's personal development Most people have hobbies for personal entertainment and interest. There are very many hobbies, some collect stamps, others might take photographs of architectural buildings or just play cards. Everything we do, gives us more experience at something, therefore hobbies contribute to our personal development a lot. The one hobby I will discuss and which is one of my own personal hobbies, is playing Texas Hold'em which is a form of poker. Although some people might just label it as gambling, poker is largely a skill game which has very little to do with luck rather than mathematics, reading people's body language and keeping track of people's previous behaviour. In able to play poker smart, you must be quick at calculating your odds and the value of your next move, just like in chess.

headlines like „Too much stress“ or „Stress is killing people“. It is like that because the boundaries between work and play are blurred. Computing and communications technologies are destroying the idea of privacy and leisure. Nowadays some youngsters can say that their hobby is playing computer games or reading iBooks. Since computer came along teenager would rather spend their time on the computer or playstation than spending time outside. As time has changed, hobbies have changed, for example playing virtual tennis in Wii or watching sports from TV is considered as normal workout. Although photography is an old hobby, modern technology has changed the whole idea of it. In addition because of modern breakthrough blogging as a hobbie is also possible. It is actually writing but you can write anything you want and publish it to many blogging sites. A good writing skill may lead to fame for a blogger and become a major earning source.

Essee "A hobby - waste of time?"

A hobby waste of time? Essay Many people think that hobbies are waste of time and waste of money. A lot of people have their own hobby some of them like it and some of them don't like their hobby. I think if you don't like your hobby, then it's a waste of time. In addition, hobbies can be very different- some people make music, some people do sports, some are collecting marks or something. In my opinion there are some hobbies what are totally waste of time. Like playing video games. They steal you free time and don't give you anything, maybe only bad eyesight. Hobbies like basketball, football, running are very good, it gives you something good body or gives strenght to live, work for something.

I have many hobbies, actually our family and relatives have lots of hobbies. My summer-sport is camping. I like all kind of camping trips: on foot, with bike, with canoe. I enjoy camping, because of the wonderful nature of Estonia. In school my favorite subject is Math. All my hobbies are made even better by friends, who I do them with. In the winter at the weekends we ususally go to someones place with friends and watch movie or play cards there. In the summer, when we have long summer holiday, we have much more free time. Then we swim, go camping, hang out, go to concerts, make music and have parties. hard work. They have to have time to do all the things they like. Children aren't the only ones who need all this, teachers need it too. Children need long holidays. In summer they can go on vacation with their families and visit all the interesting places. Some kids like water parks and amusement parks, some are interested in museums. They can also visit relatives. Every child wants to play and spend time with friends outside of school, also develop their hobbies. If summer holidays were shorter, they wouldn't have time to do all this. School is hard work. Learning new things all day, and after school there is homework to do. There is quite little time left for children to keen on their hobbies. Men do all the same things all day and some women stay home and drink coffee, while their kids are in school. Children, unlike adults, don't get paid. Children can be quite difficult to handle. There is the whole class of boys and girl and only one teacher

Thanks to the sports centre there is many hobbies you can choose from. You can learn different martial arts, different dances, basketball, football and table tennis. you can take swimming lessons and much more. When you just want to take a time out you can take a steam bath, a regular sauna or just relax in a bubble bath. To me jyri sports centre has only one disadvantage. the internet. If the people are not used to speaking in real life then it could be difficult to impress yourself with words to other people and because of this it could be difficult finding a job. Social networking sites help students do better at school. It helps students browse quickly the information they need and not waste time on searching from millions of books. It helps students do homework faster and then they can have free time to do hobbies. It could also provide distance learning due to sickness or travelling. But in the other hand it’s bad because the internet enables the spread of unreliable and false information. Also people don’t read as much books if they get all the information from the internet. If students prefer internet to books, then schools would start using computers instead of books. Therefore students would not have any connections to books which could lead to people not interacting with themselves

We all have seen in films or read in books, for example, where friends have fallen out, but eventually made up. Finally, it’s not how much friends spend time together, but what they do when they are together. Again, whenever I visit my friend in Germany, we always share a quality time together. And that’s what really counts. Option 2 I rather disagree. To begin with, you have to spend time with your friends. For example, it is much easier to make friends with those you share some common hobbies with. Moreover, in order to offer mutual support, friends need to be there for each other all the time. For instance, it would be difficult for me and my best friend to help each other if we didn’t live in the same town. Finally, in order to move to the same direction, you and your friend just have to have time for each other. For example, I feel more connected with those friends I see on a daily basis than with those I see very seldom. Option 3 I partly agree and partly disagree

Raport on teenage crime

Introduction: The aim of this report is to help find vent for teenages crimes problems. The information for the report was obtained from internet. The most common crimes: More and more teenages are being arrested for narcotic drug crimes, including the use of weapons in crimes. Older teenagers had higher violent crime victimization than did younger teenagers. Why? There are many ways to minimise teenage crime. Possible solutions 1. We have to enlarge collaboration with teenages. 2. More hobbies for them like sport or music 3. catch them in to joint action 4. more different interesting opportunities 5. Practice different social skills with him/her, such as greeting others, "breaking the ice," asking questions, and listening well. You also can role-play ways to resist peer pressure, such as offers of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs from other kids. 6. minimise narcotic drug and weapons accessibility 7. Fight against narcotic drugs

Living in the countryside is boring

Nevertheless there are a lot of children who won't even bother to do something to change their lives, although they will probably just be whining to their parents how boring it is in the countryside. In my opinion, living in the countryside is awesome. I think that people, who live outside of big cities are more tolerant and friendly. To sum up I have lived in countryside all my life and I am not complaining. I have friends here and I can deal with my hobbies. On the other hand I am not denying that living in a city would be even richer, but also I think I would rather live here. Moreover the environment where we grow up shapes who we are and finally growing up in the countryside forms you a better person.

How to improve life in your hometown?

It's very important to keep your hometown clean and polite, because then you and the others would like to live there much more. Also it would improve the tourism in this city. It's nice when people who visit your hometown, will remember that they visited such proper and friendly city. It's useful when you have restaurants and shopping centres in our city, because these will be always great tourist magnets. It's good when your hometown has some interest groups and possibilities to enjoy person's hobbies. For the kids and adolescents there should be enough training circules and activities like cinema and places where they can meet and play some games like table tennis or billiards. Every person who lives in the city can protect hometown from pollution in their own way. First of all, it is necessary to sort their rubbish. It's good for global health and ecosystem. There should be posters in the city, which propagets living healthy and economically. I really hope that

lives easier since they would not have to drive as far out of the town as they are used to at the moment. Stores the shopping center should contain The shopping center should most importantly contain a big grocery store where people could buy their everyday food and drinks. Clothing stores would also be very useful as there are not many around this town. Lastly, we would propose electronics and free time stores and sporting goods stores for people to purchase various goods that suit their hobbies. Our objections to the center Our only objections to the shopping center are that since malls take away a lot of space, it will ruin the beautiful scenery outside the city. Also, more cars would be constantly driving down the road which would then increase the noise pollution. Conclusion Overall, the residents' committee agrees that the shopping center being built is a good idea and will help this town greatly in terms of giving people a bigger freedom of choice in where to shop.

be nice with. Is this one friend then better than thousands? My best friends were left in kindergarten. The four of us were invincible. We did everything together and we were enough for each other we didn't let other children to our games. In games as well as in learning, I had 3 great supporters and everything was easy and fun with them. Everyone grows up, so did I and my buddies. Unfortunately we grew apart, because it is hard to meet between all the schoolwork and hobbies. Few appointments at primary school are completely gone now and all of us have found new friends. I didn't find really great friends from my class until about third grade. I went dancing with two classmates and I was connected with others by similar interests. I visited one girl every week and we played together for a while. Recently, my friends have changed, again. I have gotten distant with ones and made new friends, with whom I can laugh endlessly and who

She is not very tall but not short either and she is quite slim. She doesn't like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T-shirt or sweater. It seems like she and I are always talking or laughing about something. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humor but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice. We are interested in many of the same hobbies. We both enjoy music, playing in computer games and surf in internet. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can't agree on which movie to see. Sometimes we just walk around, trying to find a new area of the city to explore. We both like traveling, reading, and swimming. In the holydays we might walk into town and see a movie or stay at home and watch television. Whatever we're doing, it's always fun to be with her. I know I can rely on her

Describing People

Marin likes to socialise and help others in every way that she can. She is very nice and neat and the most helpful person I know. But all the bright sides have always something negative. So do Marin. She really is a very attractive and friendly person, but when she gets angry, you should not be in her sight. She never hurts anyone physically, but her words can cause more damage than a thousand hits. She likes to take part in every action where possible so she has many hobbies. First of all, she is a very good tennisplayer. She also takes part in a dancing practise. Marin loves little kids and she likes to spend time with them in every free second she has. So she also acts in different camps as an educator. She is adorable! Considering all the things, there is too much positive sides in Marin to dislike her. She is popular with cowds and a non-smoker. She likes kids and helping others. All in all it is good to have a friend like her. She is just superb!

English letter to a penfriend, B2

It relieves me from the pressure that my school has placed on me. As I mentioned before, I came up with a couple of ideas on how to improve your school and home life. Firstly, I think you should go join a sport activity or something like that. You have always been very athletic and fast. You love running so maybe start playing football or even better, go join the track team at your school. I think the latter is more suitable for you. I'm sure you will make lots of friends who have similar hobbies with you. After all, you have always been very sociable and kind. About your home life. You told me that your dad is often on trips and when he gets home he is exhausted. Honestly, I doubt your father will ask you to do something with him, since he is always resting. I think you should take the initiative and ask him to the cinema. You could also take your sisters and your mother with you. Spending quality time like that with your family will certainly cheer everyone up.

Having a job while studying

Having a job while studying Siin on minu nimi; 11klass Siin on kool, 30.05.2012 Many students nowadays prefer to have a job while studying or the other way around study while having a job. All that, just to support their hobbies/studies, gain experience or just to earn a bit more money. While there are many benefits, there is no good without the bad. Having a job especially while you are studying is great responsibility for a human being. It is difficult to keep both your job and studies up. Although there are good points, like earning money to support yourself, gaining work or life experience, learning more about how the world works something, that schools usually do not teach

Technology and choice

Others say it would be awesome and interesting , experience of life. secondly, technology isn't ready for that, we are already changing evolution by abortion. But mayby in the future we have a choice of what kind a baby we would like. You'll never know, perhaps they will make a menu and you can select a baby of your own taste. You could choose a girl with hot body and kind heart. In addition you could make her intelligence high, make her tall and give her hobbies. I think that it may be nice to choose hair color and eye color, and even gender. But choosing whether he/she will be smart, stupid or tall is just a bit wierd for me. We'ev been living this way for a very long time and now they think they're going to change the world and everything will be as it has been forever. I don't think so. One the one hand it would be great for some people, because I think that if you can choose if he or she is smart then you probably could

Wealth does not bring happiness-True or false-

Wealth does not bring happiness. True or false?

But how many other people would know to tell us about if wealth brings happiness or not? All the other rich people have been rich for their whole lives, they don't have anything to compare. And poor people dreaming can tell even less because they've never had such money and they don't know what it takes to stay wealthy and not fall hard back to being poor. In the end, wealth does help you a lot. It makes your life so much easier so you can concentrate on either getting more money or on your hobbies. On the other hand, it can also make your life more difficult. You never had a security problem before, and also people judge you only by the money you got and not by who you really are. It just doesn't show behind the wealth. But can anyone be happy without people who care of them? Because, as we've all seen in the movies, people close to rich people only care about their money which makes being rich a kind of sad, miserable and pointless.
