beauty of the falling waters on the border between the United States of America and Canada.
The longest river is the Mackenzie River which is 4241 kilometers long. It runs through the
Northwest Territories. Other large and important rivers are the St. Lawrence River, the Yukon
River, the Columbia River, the Nelson River, the Churchill River and the Fraser River.
The Saint Lawrence River is a large westtoeast flowing river in the middle latitudes of North
America, connectiong the Great Lakes with the Atlantic Ocean. Saint Lawrence River forms a
boundary between Québec and Ontario and part of the international boundary between
Canada and the U.S. state of New York. Lake Champlain and the Ottawa, Richelieu and
Saguenay rivers drain into the St. Lawrence.
