Public International Law is a system of law
disability or specific disfigurement; or
b. field mortality of more than 25% or a hospital mortality of more than 5%; or
c. Grade 3 wounds as measured by the Red Cross wound classification scale; or
d. effects for which there is no well-recognized and proved treatment
indiscriminate weapons not fully prohibited, but limited, cannot be used where in the areas
there are civilians, because they cannot be targeted without unproportional damages

In any armed conflict, the right of the Parties to the conflict to choose methods or means of
warfare is not unlimited.
It is prohibited to employ weapons, projectiles and material and methods of warfare of a nature to
cause superfluous injury or unnecessary suffering.
It is prohibited to employ methods or means of warfare which are intended, or may be expected, to
