Indian summer festival Indian Summer Festival is the brainchild of Butch Roberts, a Milwaukee Police Officer. In 1985, his dream was to have an American Indian Festival to add to the other ethnic festivals that were being held on the Summerfest grounds, Henry Maier Festival Park. Roberts recruited the Warren and DeNomie families to organize the event. These three families were instrumental in getting Indian Summer off the ground. Anna Sewell (1820-1878) wrote only one novel during her lifetime, a book describing the life of a beautiful, black horse, Black Beauty. Sewell was very concerned about animals and used the book to write about the terrible treatment of horses in England at the time. The book is written from the point of view of the horse, which helps us to understand the influence that good and bad treatment had on the horses in the story. Black Beauty spent his early years in a picturesque, green field with his mother and some other young colts. When it was time for him to be trained to serve men, he was gently and patiently broken in by his master. He learned to wear a saddle and bridle, and carry a human quietly on his back. Black Beauty learnt about the way horses can suffer because of men very early in life. Choices after secondary school There are lots of choices after secondary school. The main question is, which is better to do - to work or go to university. Both options give many advantages. Firstly, many young people couldn't choose the subject that they are likely to learn. Working can show if there are any of professions you're good at, as it will improve your interest in certain occupations. On the other hand, it is better not to let years between studies. Researches have shown that students, who have worked for few years after secondary school, can't concentrate on their lessons as much as those whose first choice was university. Thirdly, novadays students more often are facing financial problems. Lots of them are thinking that it is useful to work abroad in order to pay fees at university. Also, working in foreign countries is an advantage to improve your language skills.
The book ,,Sunshine" is written by Norma Klien. It is based on Jacquelyn M. Helton's tape-recorded diary and television movie. The book talks about a young girl, Kate, who had cancer. When she found that out she started to recording tapes, where she talked about her life. She also wrote a book for her little child, Jill. Into the book she wrote poems and everything she wanted her little girl to know when she will grow up. Kate married first when she was only sixteen years old. She devorced from David when she was pregnant. After that she met Sam, with who she was living together, when she got Jill. Six months after Jill she found out she had cancer. After that they moved to Vancouver, Sam and Kate got married in Vancouver's hospital. Kate didn't wanted to take medicines. She wanted to die peacefully with some semblance of sanity than take the drugs and die a bit later than she might have naturally with no mind.

The Pyramids of Egypt are the largest constructions ever built and they are one of the most potent and enduring symbols of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Each block of stone weighed 2.5 tons and about 20 men transported it. There was about 100,000 men working there and it took about 20 years to build the Giza pyramid. This is the formula of setting the blocks to the Giza Pyramid : 2,400,000 stones used ÷ 20 years ÷ 365 days per year ÷ 10 work hours per day ÷ 60 minutes per hour = 0.55 stones laid per minute. Estonian teen How do you spend your free time? I'm pretty busy. Every day, I have music school, choir, or basketball training. I have been going to music school for seven years, and I'm going to graduate this spring. I have been going to basketball training for two years. I unfortunately can't go there very often because of music studies. When I'm home, I usually spend my free time on the computer or playing the guitar. What do you like / dislike about living in Võru? I can't tell anything which I particularly do not like. This year I don't like that the school has been moved to another building, which doubles the distance between my home and school.
