The First Years of the School: Reval Gymnasium In the beginning the school was upheld by the city of Tallinn and it’s knighthood. The school was meant for the sons of the noblemen and citizens. There were 4 professors and 2 colleagues. Students studied reading, writing, maths, theology, music, Latin, Greek, Hebrew, law, poetry, speech, geography, history and philosophy. Hundred years is a long time compared to one minute, but many people claim that it is possible to wrap all of those years into that one minute. They have an opinion that all those years only count if you use the time completely, without wasting it on activities and choices that make you unhappy. On the one hand I agree with this statement, people often live their lives without ever doing anything useful or something that really makes them happy. They are often very materialistic and that forces them to make decisions that do not really make them happy and therefore they are not really using the time that they have been given.
What humans are currently capable of doing dosen't represent any sort of summit in what machines might be capable of doing in the future. For most of human history one ecomomic problem has dominated: how to make the economic pie large enough for everyone to live on. Go back to the turn of the first century AD, and if you took the global economic pie, and divided it up into equal slices for everyone in the world, everyone would get a few hundred dollars. And if you rolled forward a thousand years, roughly the same is true. But in the last few hundred years, economic growth has taken off. Those economic pies have exploded in size. The value of those individual slices of the pie today, the're about 10,150 dollars. If economic growth continues at two percent our children will be twice as rich as us. By in large, we've solved the traditional economic problem. With that solved problem has arosed antoher one how to make sure that everbody gets a slice. Solving this problem won't be easy.

Comparison of Education in Britain and Estonia When looking into the educational systems of Britain and Estonia, several differences appear. In this essay I am going to point out some of the most distinguish features in the education of both countries. Firstly, there are dissimilarities in the age at which children go to school. In Estonia the age is 7 whereas in Britain children start their educational journey already as young as 5 years old. Primary school lasts 6 years just like in Estonia but the pupils in Britain are 2 years younger when they finish primary school than the pupils in Estonia.
