Diana, Walesi printsess (The Princess of Wales)

Switzerland. At about that time, she first met her future husband, who was then dating her eldest sister, Lady Sarah. Diana was good at swimming and diving, and longed to be a professional ballerina with the Royal Ballet. She moved to London where she took an advanced cooking course, although she never became a cook, and worked as a dance instructor for youth, until a skiing accident caused her to miss three months of work. She then found employment as a playgroup assistant, did some cleaning work for her sister Sarah and several of her friends, and worked as a hostess at parties. MARRIAGE Prince Charles had known Diana for several years, but he first took a serious interest in her as a potential bride during the summer of 1980, when they were guests at a country weekend, where she watched him play polo. The relationship developed as he invited her for a sailing weekend to Cowes, followed by an invitation to meet his family. There,

Strategies of creating a dominant party – the case of UR

branches (Reuter 2010: 295). In this light, as there is considerable reason to believe that Russia's political system is moving towards a, what is called "dominant party system", in this paper, I will examine the main strategies, by witch United Russia has gained and perpetuated its dominance. After looking at the main features of a dominant party, I will focus on the reforms in Russia's electoral law, which supported the nascence of a dominant party. In the second part of the work, I will concentrate on the political strategies, which have helped the party to maintain its hold on power. Defining the dominant party The concept of dominant-party system, or one-party dominant system, refers to "a category of parties/political organizations that have successively won election victories and whose future defeat cannot be envisaged or is unlikely for the foreseeable future" (Suttner 2009: 277).

Working at home and in the office

Working at home and in the office When people talk about working in the office, they usually consider the office work the most boring work ever. People have to sit still for long hours and work until theirand heads start to ache. They can only have a short lunch break and no more free time is allowed. When people work in the office, they have to give their fullest and slacking off is unapproved. In comparison, working at home seems to have many benefits. People who work at home can personally choose their working hours according to their own lifestyle and take as many breaks as they feel necessary. A good rest and a comfortable atmosphere can easily raise the quality of the work that people are doing. However, when people work at home, they might find it hard to focus and they can easily lost their motivation when they don't have a boss breathing down their necks and a clock that is ticking time and never giving them any rest

Teamwork: the pros and cons

Teamwork:the pros and cons In modern world there are two types of people. Those who like to work in teams and those who like to work alone.I'm more likely to work in a team than alone. There are many good sides in teamwork, like people can pool their skills together and than it's generally more productive but when work individually person has he is own ideas. No idea is a bad idea when person is working alone. It's an amazing feeling when person can create his owns ideas or do whatever his heart desires. There is only one, with own ideas and trust in his own decision making. Of course, person will be fully responsible for the outcome. The common goal in teamwork is good for morale and fosters team spirit but in individual work person can't get help from others or be appreciated by others for ideas.

Distance learning is a challenge

Marge Veskemaa Distance learning is a challenge To begin with, distance learning is very difficult. However, there are some positive things. I can plan my school work mostly. Some teachers gives a time when you need to be ready. This would mean that we can´t just lay down and relax all day. I think they give enough time and student should get ready with their work. When there is no time I can do my work in the morning, in afternoon or in the evening. With that I learn planning and I am more independent. I think one thing you need to have and that is motivation. For example, you sit every day at home and do nothing, motivation is very easy to go away and you do not want to do school work also. As a result, you school work suffers. I think teachers try to keep our motivation and give us a little work as possible.

If someone going to universty then he get a free place or he have to pay for it. But tuiton is very high, what its hard to pay at a time. In order to pay tiution, students should go to work while studying. Secondly the good thing is, if you work while studing, you always have a allowence. When class is going to travel, then you have the Money to pay for it. And you don't have to ask Money for your parents. Bad thing is that the work disturb studying. Beacuse you have two big obligation, where you can not miss. You don't have time to commit studying and your marks will be Worse. Work while studying is a big burden. organisational members' relationship with the organisation and has implications for the decision to continue or discontinue membership in the organisation. Effects Organisational commitment can have either a negative or a positive effect on the organization. The negative effect implies that the level of organisational commitment is low. Employees with a low level of organisational commitment tend to be unproductive and some become loafers at work. In some cases the high rate of staff turnover and absenteeism are associated with the low level of organisational commitment. Sometimes, when organizational commitment is over-commitment it may cause neurotic compulsion to succeed, extreme high level of energy, overly loyal employees. On the other hand, when commitment is under-commitment it may cause fear of success or failure, chronic and persistent procrastination.

Working at home or in an office

Working at home or in an office With the development of communication technology many companies offer their employees a possibility to work at home instead of going to office every day. This option has many positive sides but also some negative. Firstly working at home is more comfortable for workers. Their working schedule is more flexible because work has to be done for certain date and if they do their work faster then there is more free time to be with a family, play sports etc. In many cases workers who work at home are more creative and their working results are better. Sometimes lack of inspiration or poor working results may be caused by the small office. Working at home has also some negative sides. When working at home workers can not communicate with each others from face to face. In my opinion teamwork is very important in most of the companies

Having job while studing

Having a job while studying Students want to work, while they are studying, but is it good or bad, if you study and work at the same time? In some cases it is good, when you have a job. You can earn money and not depend on your parents. Then you can make new friends, if it is a serious job, you can meet people, who are older than you, and they will help. Job makes a person to be more responsible. When you are young, you can try to work in different job areas and when you grow up, it is easy for you to make a choice, where you would like to work. And the last, I think, when you have a job, it is interesting and exciting for you to try something new. But there are some negative aspects of having a job while studying. Some students try to work a lot, to earn a lot of money. So they are always very tired and forget about school. Choices after secondary school

There are many things to consider before choosing a career after high school. Like go to job, university or some trade school. Both of them have positvies and negatives sides. I would like to describe both of them positvies sides. Go to the job after high school is very good idea. Especially when you do not know what you want on your life. Lots of my friends went to the job after high school because they have so tired and so sick of the school. Some of them work a year and after that they had thought clear what they want in their life. They go to the school after they had relaxed. Furthermore they study very hard because they have already aim about what they want to study. But some friends who went to the work after high school are decided to stay and they do not want to go to school anymore. This could be due to that they have found what they like and these are their dream jobs. They have got a working skills, good job and family

Talent vs experience speech

John Wooden has said: “I'd rather have a lot of talent and a little experience than a lot of experience and a little talent. “ I agree with the statement. To start with, while practising some sports and professions one needs to be talented. For instance, you can’t be a ballet dancer if you haven’t assumptions for that or you can’t be a composer if you haven’t musical hearing. If you have a talent, but you are not willing to use it and work with it you do not develop and then the talent is useless. I have a friend who has great singing voice, but she hasn’t trained it and unfortunately she’s not achieved anything in singing. I think if she had practiced singing, she could be very good and maybe even famous singer. Furthermore, Experience is something that everybody can gain and i think that experience is even more important than talent. Some jobs like a driver, police officer or firefighter need experience

Inglise keelne intervjuu

If that is a rule, however, there certainly are exceptions. Marc (45) and Catherine (37) Brown have had to cope with that situation for many years now, with Marc being a cow farm manager and Catherine a milkmaid at the same institution. The exact name and location of the farm shall be left undisclosed, but it is certainly one of the

Having a job while studying - essee

Having a job while studying I think, that when a student have a job while studying, has positive and negative sides. The positives side of it is that when you have work then you have your own money and you don´t have to ask money your parents. You have experience when you go to work after school. But at the negative side you don´t have enough time to learn your homework, because when you aren´t at school you are at work. It takes much time of your personal life. When you want to go out with your friends, then you can´t because you have to be at work or relationships with opposite gender will suffer. And when you are grown up you will understand that you have lost a piece of your childhood. However, these students are after school more prepared to real life, where you have your own family or even you have kids and it is very important to your future life.

George Orwell - Road to Wigan Pier

He lived in Paris for the next two years, and then came to England as a school-teacher. He lived for several years in poverty. By 1936, Orwell had joined the Republican forces in the Spanish Civil War. He was wounded in the fighting. Late in the war, Orwell fought the Communists and eventually had to flee Spain for his life. During the Second World War, Orwell wrote a weekly radio political commentary, designed to counter German and Japanese propaganda in India. His wartime work for the BBC gave him a solid taste of bureaucratic hypocrisy. Orwell, who was prone to illness, had his career and his life cut short when he died of tuberculosis on January 21, 1950. He left behind a substantial body of work and a reputation for greatness. He's most know books are: Animal Farm, Nineteen Eighty-Four and The Road to Wigan Pier. SETTING The story in the book takes place in 1930's at the time of unemployment in the United Kingdom. The letter of complain

January 17, 2014 Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to complain about the computer I bought at your store last week. When I tried to turn the computer on at home, it did not work. The screen was black and the computer made an odd noise. I performed in the manner as the user manual wrote. Since the computer was guaranteed for 2 years, I took it back to your store but the shop assistant did not help me. She was impolite and arrogant and she said that she could do nothing. I am most disappointed and require my money back or a new product. I hope that this problem will find a solution in a week. Yours faithfully Mari Mets (117)
